About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. About: I have grown up with cats and dogs and have plenty of experience taking care of both! From taking walks, feeding, bathing and light grooming, I am no stranger to the nitty gritty! About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.
“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! They love going to Elaine's house! Our next booking is during the Christmas-New Year's Eve time frame, and my dogs are already so excited, and Elaine has let me know that so is she, and she's gearing her doggies up for a week-long visit :-) My neighbors/friends that used to keep them all the time are moving back to NJ, so this is exactly what I needed at this time in my life. About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. About: We've owned dogs and cats ourselves over the years but don't currently have our own fur babies. We've been travelling the country doing pet sitting and have LOVED it! We walk through the dog park across the street just to soak up some of that pure positive energy. We'd love to host your fur baby (ies) and give them tons of love and pets. I work from home and my husband is retired, so they will not lack for attention. We live in a spacious condo, so they need to give enough warning to be taken outside, but we're across the street from the dog park and only blocks from the Bosque, so plenty of places to play and walk here. I work from home and have plenty of breaks. My husband is retired. We have tons of time to shower your delightful creatures with love and attention. We walk every day, so easy to take a dog along. It's easy to fit pets into our routine, and it brings us much joy to have creatures to shower with affection. We live in a spacious condo in a secure building. We have plenty of space and light. Dogs would need to give us enough warning to take the elevator downstairs. We live right by a beautiful dog park, another city park, and the Bosque.

About: Hi! I’m 20 and am currently a student at UNM! I’ve have cared for dogs and cats since I was 5. I’ve helped with bathing, basic training, and often take dogs on mountain hikes and other adventures! I’m kind, responsible, and love animals of all sizes. Presently I am flexible to meet pet parent needs. I do need 1 day notice for planning 🙂 and ensuring I am prepared for your pets. Presently I am able to provides services at your home only ( except for very young puppies and kittens who can stay with me if needed) -in your home I’m most familiar with cats and dogs. I am glad to keep your pets environment fresh during visits including waste clean up, hair brush or deshedding with your tools, refresh food, water bowls as needed. I will have non-toxic cleaners for hard surfaces if needed.

About: We've owned dogs and cats ourselves over the years but don't currently have our own fur babies. We've been travelling the country doing pet sitting and have LOVED it! We walk through the dog park across the street just to soak up some of that pure positive energy. We'd love to host your fur baby (ies) and give them tons of love and pets. I work from home and my husband is retired, so they will not lack for attention. We live in a spacious condo, so they need to give enough warning to be taken outside, but we're across the street from the dog park and only blocks from the Bosque, so plenty of places to play and walk here. I work from home and have plenty of breaks. My husband is retired. We have tons of time to shower your delightful creatures with love and attention. We walk every day, so easy to take a dog along. It's easy to fit pets into our routine, and it brings us much joy to have creatures to shower with affection. We live in a spacious condo in a secure building. We have plenty of space and light. Dogs would need to give us enough warning to take the elevator downstairs. We live right by a beautiful dog park, another city park, and the Bosque.

He's an older adopted dog and I was a little worried about leaving him, but they invited us over to visit before our time away from each other and that really cemented the deal. I could see they worked hard to be kind to all the animals and the people who owned them. They sent pictures and comments so I knew he was relaxed in their home. I felt much more relaxed about leaving him if necessary, knowing I have them as a backup.”

Her big backyard is perfect for my energetic dog, and she provided ample couch cuddles for my lower energy dog.
