“I adopted my dog Nomi at the end of 2025 and knew I had a lot of rehabilitation ahead of us since she is highly fearful and skittish. Nomi came from a hoarding house in Puerto Rico where 100 animals were removed from the property. Today was the first day since Nomi's adoption that she stayed with anyone other than myself. About: I’ve looked after and walked dogs of all ages and sizes ever since I was in middle school. Their happiness and unconditional love brings me joy. I particularly enjoy taking dogs out early in the morning and on hikes. I recently finished grad school and will begin working full time in July. I have some free time now to house sit and go on a few walks a day. I’ve dog sat for my classmates in Berkeley multiple times in apartments and homes. I make it a point to get as much information about your dog as possible so their routine does not change when I look after them. Ideally, I walk, feed and spend time with them the same times you do.

About: I have a pet dog named Johnny who is currently 12 years old. He has been my best friend for half my lifetime. He was there through my teen years, high school, and college. He means a lot to me and I understand how much a dog means to an individual’s life. I have taken care of him on my own numerous times when my parents are away from the house. About: I've been caring for pets for a little over 5 years now. I used to work at a pet store handling fish, birds and small animals as well. I have a 5 year old golden retriever as well as 2 cats. I can help administer medications for dogs and cats that need it. I can also care for elderly dogs and puppies. I don't mind bathing them or doing nail trims either. We left our golden retriever, Mango, with them for almost 10 days, and from start to finish we felt completely at ease knowing he was in such loving and responsible hands. They took excellent care of Mango and kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which truly meant a lot to us while we were away. It was clear from the updates that Mango was happy, comfortable, and being treated like part of their family. Toward the end of his stay, Mango’s food ran out, and they were kind enough to provide their own dog food without hesitation — a small gesture that really shows how thoughtful and caring they are.
