He was open to a meet and greet the day before I was supposed to drop off my pet which was from 7am-5pm, and he met Ollie and then showed us around a bit which made me feel much better knowing my dog was going to be kept in such clean and organized conditions. You can clearly tell how well Tom takes care of his own dogs. Everyday I used his service I could tell my dog had a great time and got to experience what walking in a pack was like. He came home exhausted each day and Tom sent great pictures and videos which made me feel better. I can recognize when a canine is uncomfortable and needs extra patience or anxious and needs an outlet. I have 3 years experience teaching basic obediance on top of that. If you need a consistent walker, I can teach your dog basic walking etiquette during our walks too. I have my own dog who is extremly friendly and availiable for visits, if you would like a playmate for your pup. He's a jobial, 30lb Beagle/lab mix and up to date on all shots. No extra charge, just let me know you'd like to meet Chester too! We used to work with rescued fighting pitbulls and Chester was the dog used for socalizing. Hes very non-reactive and perfect for socalizing puppies or reactive dogs. I look to provide a simulating experience for your pet and a transparent one for you. I send lots of pics and communicate often. I look forward to connecting to see if were a good fit. I am a remote worker with a fluctuating schedule. I am able to provide last minute and consistent services to my neighbors close by M-F, weekends vary. I adopted a staffy mix in 2014 and we had 9 great years together before she passed. I’m not ready to adopt again, so until then, I’d like to help others. I’ve also had a few cats in the past and currently have 2! They are both tolerant of dogs and if they are uncomfortable, they will typically leave the room. My friends will bring their dogs when they visit me and my cats do well. I don’t have a yard per se but there is a lot of open space for frequent walks/potty breaks. My apartment complex is very pet-friendly. I am on the 2nd floor, so there are 2 sets of steps that may make it hard for older dogs. I often do overnights and stay with pets in their own home to maximize their comfort and keep their routines intact. I’m flexible based on your individual needs. One of my interests is in animal behavior. I have read many books (my favorites are from Patricia B. McConnell) My philosophy is we are training everyday. Consistency is important to me and for them, so I will ask many questions during the meet and greet stage to understand their needs and know how to best support you both. I am currently freelance with WFH tasks and gig work and schedule my other jobs around my pet care calendar. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with lots of open space to walk. Taking her for a walk is also not easy. However, Felix takes such good care of her that I don't hesitate to leave her with Felix whenever I need to go somewhere. About: A lifetime of dog care from puppies to seniors. Our last pup crossed the rainbow bridge a few months ago at 17, she left behind a fenced in yard, a pet friendly home and 2 loving caretakers. Both my Wife and I are retired. We're home most of the time except for errands or vacations. Plenty of time to give your pup the attention it's deserved. We have a completely fenced in back yard on a quite street in Maple Shade. Dogs are free to roam in and out through the magic mesh. Clean guest dogs are permitted on the furniture and beds. Routine medication can be administered (no needles).

When I lived in Austin, Texas, I spent about a year fostering dogs and puppies, which gave me hands-on experience caring for animals with different personalities, needs, and backgrounds. That’s actually how I ended up with my dog Cosmo—I was a proud “foster fail” and couldn’t bring myself to let him go! If I had the space, I probably would have adopted every foster dog and cat that came through my home. These days, pet sitting gives me the perfect excuse to spend time with more animals without constantly bringing another one home. 😂 I genuinely love caring for pets and treat every animal like they’re one of my own. As a pet parent myself, I also know how stressful it can be leaving your dog with someone new. I’m very communicative and will happily send plenty of photos, videos, and updates so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. 📸💕 Outside of pet sitting, I work professionally as a program and events coordinator, so being organized, dependable, communicative, and attentive to details is a huge part of my everyday life. In my free time, I love spending time with my dogs, baking, doing crafts and nails, traveling, building LEGO sets, and relaxing at home. Adding another furry guest into my routine comes very naturally to me, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule around their normal routine so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible. 🐾💕 I always try to keep each pet’s routine as close to normal as possible, whether I’m caring for them in my home or theirs. I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, crate routines, playtime, and any other special needs or preferences. I know every pet has their own personality, so I adjust my care depending on whether they love constant attention and cuddles or prefer a little more space and independence. When pets stay in my home, safety is my biggest priority. I have dogs of my own, but I always keep my pets separated from my guests’ pets rather than assuming unfamiliar animals will get along. This allows every pet to have their own comfortable, safe space and gives owners peace of mind. My apartment complex also has a dog park, so if you are comfortable with your dog using it, I’m happy to take them there for some extra exercise and playtime. If dog parks aren’t your preference, that’s completely fine too! I’m more than happy to take them on long walks and strolls around my complex or visit nearby parks instead. I’ll always follow whatever you feel is safest and most appropriate for your dog. I’m very attentive and spend plenty of time checking in, playing, walking, cuddling, and making sure pets are comfortable throughout their stay. I also send regular photos and updates because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pet is happy and doing well while you’re away. 🐾💕

About: I have worked in various different ways with animals throughout the past 6 years. I have pet sat for family friends and used to work in a kennel where we board both cats and dogs. About: I really like animals so I studied 2 years of veterinarian course. Unfortunately I couldn’t finish it, but I wish. I also worked at the pet shop for 1 year.
