About: I’ve loved cats for as long as I can remember, starting with my childhood cats—Shadow, Priscilla, and Gingersnap—who sparked a lifelong love of feline companionship. I’ve cared for cats through every stage of life, from bottle-fed kittens to senior cats with complex medical needs, including administering insulin injections for a diabetic cat and subcutaneous fluids for a cat with kidney disease. My current cat, Rory, brings so much joy to my life every day, and I understand how much trust it takes to leave your cat in someone else’s care. I’ll treat your cat with the same patience, attentiveness, and affection I give my own.

“Aimee was great! This was my first time using Rover and she made me feel super comfortable by stopping in for a quick visit with myself and the puppy. During her visit she sent lots of pictures and was prompt with her arrival time. Will use her again!!”

About: I've been caring for cats for as long as I can remember. My family has always had cats, and I've grown up helping care for them throughout my life. I genuinely love cats and enjoy getting to know each one's unique personality. Whether it's playtime, cuddles, feeding, or daily care, I treat every cat as if they were my own.

About: My first pets were a pair of kittens I rescued from a park during my brothers’ baseball game. Cats hold a special place in my heart even though I do not currently have any of my own. I am however living with our four family cats and my two fur babies. I have been able to integrate my dogs into the cats lives so far. I would like to work more with cats whenever possible.
“Melissa E. sat with our three 11 week old kittens while we were out of town for the day. She sent me pictures throughout the day and even crocheted them a toy!!! We will definitely be booking her for our summer vacation!!”

“Sharon's service is outstanding. This was the 1st time someone outside of the family has taken care of my fur grand babies and they were happy. She sent videos and pictures of them, washed their beds, gave us report cards and they left with new collars and snacks. My daughter and I am so pleased with her services. I will truly use her again when I travel. What a relief to know they will be in great hands.”

“We have 7 cats between 2 households and Julia sent photos and updated me every step of the way via texts while we were away. Our normal caregiver, who is not with Rover.com, backed out on us 4 days before we were going away and Julia was glad to help and arranged a meet and greet right away to learn where everything was and when to feed the kitty crew. If I had any questions about how things were going, Julia got back to me within a few minutes. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a pet care giver.”

“Loved how Christina cared for our little guy. We have never left him with a sitter before but as soon we got out of the car to meet her we immediately felt comfortable with her. Her demeanor is very calming and I knew Copper was in good hands. We will definitely be calling her again for future appointments to care for our little guy. So happy to have found her and so close to home for us. Wonderful sitter !!”
About: I do offer boarding at my farm. I only take up to 2 dogs at a time. We do a few walks everyday around the 8 acres. They get plenty of yard time. Every dog gets a specialized program with me and one Free training session. Does your animal need meds? No problem. If I can syringe a horse, I can handle a cat or dog (and have) I also LOVE cats. I have had a many cats in the last 28 years. House cats, barn cats, baby cats, old cats. I currently have 2 cats that were ring worm kittens from Paws. I finished up their treatment and adopted them. I can wrangle a barn cat that’s 1/2 feral to go to the vet or get it’s flea/tick meds. Don’t count me out if you have cats! They like me as much as I like them! I have taken care of pretty much any house pet from rats, to ferrets, parrots and snakes. I have had many tropical fish tanks too. Horses, cats and dogs are not my limits. As long as I’m not previously booked, I will be able to accommodate you. It never hurts to ask. I try to stay pretty close to home so I can fit in as many visits as possible but I do have great transportation. I keep safety in mind at all times. I am always aware when I’m walking a dog and will not let them mingle with other dogs or people. I always make sure water is fresh and plentiful. I am very cautious to avoid and loose animals. Your pets health and care are my career and my number one concerns.
“Raelyn is such a great dog sitter. Luna has never been happier going to visit someone. Raelyn sent updates and kept me in the loop with everything. She even sent pictures of luna to show me how active she is and how tired she is after getting that puppy energy out. I will be using Raelyn again for sure!”

“Danielle and her whole family were so nice! I felt very comfortable leaving my fur baby with her. She sent a couple photo updates while we were out and was very easy to schedule with and get in contact with ahead of time. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Kirk was incredible to work with. I had asked him many questions and he got back to me quickly with answers. I have been struggling finding the perfect place to take my fur babies when I work long hours or am away for a night occasionally. He was flexible with the hours I needed for drop off and pick up. As soon as my dogs got there they were venturing around the enclosed fence area and seemed very happy. My maltipoo has separation anxiety and you wouldn’t have known it when I dropped her off to Kirk. My boxer is a puppy and Kirk was willing to take on having a high energy puppy for a long duration of time. I can’t say enough good things about Kirk for this being only my first time taking my dogs to him and his wife. I will be booking again immediately and have every intention of using Kirk and Anita for any needs I have in the future regarding doggy day care and/or overnight stays.”

“Alex took great care of my puppy! He was there all day while I was at work, I got to enjoy pictures and videos she took of him throughout the day. He went on multiple walks which he loves! She was very accommodating to my schedule and quick to reply to any messages! I couldn’t recommend her more! My puppy can’t wait to go spend another day with Alex”

“This was my Milo's 1st time ever being out of our home & with a stranger. I felt like a bad dog-mom leaving him daily and he wasn't too happy about the notion either. Seeing Eileen's patience & affection toward animals & receiving daily pics & videos of my boy all calmed my quills & assured me he was adjusting well & was in great hands.”

About: "As a dog sitter. I take pride in my ability to be attuned to dogs with specialized needs. Your dog will receive the highest level of care and attention, tailored to their unique circumstances. I've worked with pups and senior dogs with limited chewing abilities, dogs with separation anxiety who need consistent care and dogs with bowl and bladder issues who need more attentive care. My top priority is doing whats best for your furry friends needs! I have open availability 7 days a week at an affordable price that fits your budget. 1. Initial Assessment: I start by having a discussion with the dog owner to gather crucial information about the dog's habits, preferences, and any special requirements. This helps me understand the dog's routine. 2. Consistency: Whenever possible, I maintain the dog's established daily routine. This includes feeding times, exercise routines, bathroom breaks, and playtime, as familiarity provides comfort and stability. 3. Flexibility: I'm flexible and responsive to any changes in the dog's behavior or needs. If a dog seems anxious, energetic, or unwell, I adjust the routine accordingly. For instance, if a dog needs extra playtime or a shorter walk, I accommodate those needs. 4. Nutritional Needs: I follow the owner's instructions regarding the dog's diet meticulously. If a dog has specific dietary requirements or allergies, I ensure that their meals are prepared and served as per instructions. 5. Medication and Health Care: If the dog requires medication or has health concerns, I'm experienced in administering tablet medications and providing any necessary care. I keep a close eye on their health and notify the owner of any changes. 6. Safety and Comfort: Ensuring the dog's safety and comfort is a top priority. I create a secure environment, free of hazards, and provide cozy resting spaces where they can relax. 7. Communication: I maintain open communication with the dog owner, providing regular updates and photos to keep them informed about their pet's well-being. 9. Positive Reinforcement: I use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior and provide mental stimulation, making sure the dog is mentally and emotionally content. 10. Emergency Preparedness: In case of emergencies or unexpected situations, I have a plan in place to ensure the dog's safety and access to appropriate care. Overall, my approach is based on attentiveness, adaptability, and a deep love for dogs. By closely aligning with each dog's unique needs and routines, I aim to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience during their time under my care!
About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs my whole life. My babies are lifers. Your animal is my number one priority. I prefer animals over humans any day I quit my job to walk dogs full time. I’m always available if you need me. Your babies are my babies. I’d prefer dogs over humans I have a fenced in yard and no one can escape. I abide by what the client asks for in their and my own home. I walk, play with your dog if toys are presented

About: I would love nothing more than to surround myself with your dog(s) while you're gone to provide the care he/she deserves. From a very young age, I wished for my own real dog every time I blew out the candles on my birthday cake or made a wish after throwing a coin into a fountain. My bookshelves overflowed with dog literature and I possessed many life-sized stuffed dogs. Animal Planet was easily my favorite TV network. When I was 10 years old, my dream came true. I finally brought my first dog, Rusty, home. Rusty lived for 16 happy years. Shortly after, my family adopted Cooper as a puppy, who is a Hurricane Maria rescue from Puerto Rico. Currently, I have a 45 lb. lab/hound mix, Hadley. She was rescued from The Delaware Humane Association (DHA). She's a spoiled one! I also have 9 chickens! I can assure you your dog will feel safe and sheltered with me, but most importantly, treated with love and patience. I understand dogs possess different temperaments and personalities as well as come from many different backgrounds. I will adapt to what your pet needs/wants. Dogs are family and my favorite animal in the world! (Experience With: puppies, seniors, deafness, blindness, arthritis, ear infections, food administration, high energy, timidness, training, and more!) I am flexible and enjoy getting to know dogs through meet and greets. Let's set one up! As for scheduling, I try to accommodate you and your pet as best as possible. To remain transparent and make you feel like you're there, I provide detailed Rover cards immediately following visits with photos, and tracking (water, food, pee, poo, etc.).
About: I've personally raised 3 dogs since I was 12, a couple of them since they were 6-8 weeks old. Aside from vet visits I've always taken care of everything else myself from washing and grooming to nail clipping to training. I've watched other people's pets from time to time while their owners were out vacationing and have lived in households with other animals, at one point 3 service retrievers and a raven! I have a great love for pets and can't see my life without them. Right now I have an adoptee, Oscar, that I got at 8 months. He's turning 4 soon. I spend most of my mornings at my local dog park with him, and when my husband and I take road trips Oscar will be right by us every step of the way! I work from home and make my own schedule so the only thing stopping me from going to the park in the morning is bad weather or some unexpected emergency. Owners can be sure their dogs are in great hands with me. I already spend my mornings at a gated park for an hour or so during weekdays where I pick up after the dogs under my watch and keep an eye on their interactions. I'll always have a water spray bottle on me in case of a ruckus as dogs can sometimes behave like children or promiscuous teenagers. While I do know all the regulars at the park owners should be mindful I will run into strangers and how well their dogs behave can be out of my control. To mitigate this I take every precaution in controlling the dogs under my care when introducing them to other dogs entering the park. It's not something I find concerning as I'm accustomed to reading a dog's body language, there is a separate enclosure, and owners tend to be very respectful. The park I go to is a gated field so I will be able to see the dogs at all times. My boy Oscar will be there with me on each trip so there will always be a companion to romp around with. I keep treats in the car for training purposes, and also carry a chuck it with me but I've not had to use it much with how much fun the dogs have! What I'm offering is an enrichment activity for socialization and to help get a dog's energy out in the morning. It's an activity Oscar loves and is often passed out on the couch when he's home.
About: With years of hands-on animal experience, I’ve fostered kittens, raised service dog puppies, and worked at a reptile and fish store during college. Throughout school, I also rescued and rehomed animals in need. Today, I share my home with two German Shepherds, one actively training and one just beginning her journey. I’m passionate about positive reinforcement, structured care, and creating an environment where animals feel safe, confident, and loved. From high-energy working dogs to small pets, I understand that every animal has unique needs and deserves patient, knowledgeable care. Your pet will be treated like family and cared for with the same attention and dedication I give my own. I can be flexible and happy to work with your schedule, whether your pet has specific needs, preferred routines, or particular days that work best. Just let me know how I can help make their stay as comfortable as possible! I live in a quiet, pet-friendly, one-story home with minimal stairs and a spacious, secure yard perfect for dogs who enjoy fresh air and room to play. Inside, I use gates to thoughtfully separate areas of the home, allowing me to create a calm, structured environment tailored to each pet’s comfort and needs. Im happy to accommodate crate-trained dogs and have dedicated space available for rest and decompression when needed. Our cats have their own separate room and can remain fully separated to ensure a safe, low-stress environment for everyone. Whether your pet enjoys exploring the yard, structured playtime, or relaxing in a cozy spot indoors, I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home.

I started by walking my own dogs when I entered the "double digits" age range and went on to walk other dogs for friends and family and various types of pet sitting from there. I got my pet grooming certification from Animal Behavior College in 2015 and although I do not have a portable tub, I do have plenty of portable tools that I can use to groom your dog in the comfort of their own home. If I seem familiar in the face you may have seen me at Tractor Supply as I worked there for almost 6 years and took the opportunity to befriend and help people and their pets however I could. For well over two decades I've taken care of pets. I've helped family & friends with their pets and they have recommended me to some of their friends who have needed some help with their pets. I have done everything from drop in/check in days to overnights to random walks throughout the week. My pet experience is with mainly dogs and cats. I have worked with various other animals that I can elaborate on upon request. I love having specific notes about each pet as well so that I can be certain that I am giving them the care they require. As of right now I am very much open and flexible when it comes to my schedule. I currently work in the delivery field so I try to work several hours in between checking in on my furry friends. With this kind of work I have been given the opportunity to spend more time with my own dog so I also like making time for him during my day as well. However, I've found over the years of doing this that some pets need more one on one time than others for a variety of reasons (from age to anxiety to specific medical reasons) so I can absolutely adjust any time slots I make in the day to attend to any specific needs a pet may have. As I said before, I love having as much detail of a pet as possible so I can make sure they are getting the care they need. The more details the better and that goes for scheduling as well. My dog is a family member. He has several dog beds but prefers to sleep on my bed. He's not one to gorge himself on food so we usually fill his bowl in the morning and let him eat as he wishes sometimes topping it off during the day. We keep his water constantly filled and fresh. The only thing I can't give him is constant access to the backyard as we do not have a dog door, but when we let him out he generally decides how long he wants to spend outside as out yard is completely fenced in. I generally do not follow my own rules for my own dog when caring for someone else's pet. I believe in trying to follow their schedule and rules to the best of my ability as I feel that the owner knows best. If I ever have any concerns I reach out as soon as possible and discuss the best course of action to the concerns I have. I give all my love and attention to the pets I care for as if they were my own, but I make sure to follow their schedules and rules.
“Victoria was amazing with our 70lb Siberian husky! She came to meet him the day before she was scheduled to walk him and we felt instantly comfortable with her! She was kind, punctual and accommodating. We loved our experience with Victoria and will definitely be using her again the next time we’re in Vineland! 10/10!”

About: I have been a pet appreciation magnet as long as I can remember. Even when I am not aiming for the attention, the pets gravitate my way, and i have scritches and belly rubs for them all. I have a rescue of my own for 6+ years now, bichon/poodle mix. Though he had a traumatic start before me, he has adjusted well and is a cuddle bug, and getting better with his socialization with new doggos. I have been a dog sitter for friends over the last 8+ years, when they go on trips. I have experience in minor training, like sit/stay/leash leading, for a few breeds up to 50-70 lbs (no certificates, just repitition and patience). Positive recognition of good behavior and moderate activity (to remedy the bad behavior) when you need me are what I hope to share with your furry family members. I am currently working part-time, so i can set up a schedule of regular pet attention care during part day time hours. Currently I have weekends free if weekend care is requested, though this may change if requests are light. I am working on my house to be able to provide overnight care in the future, making it care friendly for additional furry friends. I have a fenced in, good size yard, and a medium size fur baby of my own to greet stay over friends, though my house needs a little more time for prep before we are ready. I am happy to do drop-ins and day or eve walks at your home, and follow any/all your rules. I respect your needs and want to make sure your fur baby is safe and happy in my care. I keep trainer treats in my car, if we need to practice a few basic commands, as well as water and other care essentials. I have a back seat hammock/cover for the pet's safety when traveling (as needed). I also have a med to large dog kennel I can put in the way back of my SUV if that is preferred for safety and security.
About: I am an experienced care giver for animals. I worked in a non-kill shelter for three years and cared for all kinds of dogs and cats. I have taken care of the young, old and sick and they all hold a special place in my heart. I can administer any needs for your pup or kitty! I have always had animals in my life wether it’s fostering or gaining a family member. I can make sure that the environment is clean and stress free for your fur baby. My experience with many different animals will aide me in getting to know you and your pet better to provide the best care. Book me today to help me gain a fur friend and take care of your animals. I am currently unemployed therefor, my schedule is fairly open. Please feel free to message me on availability as I may be sitting for more than one person. I typically stick to house-sitting in others homes as my cat is easily stressed by new animals. I will care for your pets exactly as you do to make their transition with a new person as easy as possible.

“I was nervous leaving our girl for the first time - but from the moment of our meet and greet- Carrie made everything feel so comfortable. She has a lovely family, lives on a farm with three sweet pups. Ellie was treated like family - from relaxing on the recliner with her husband to sleeping in her bed. I’m so grateful she was so well taken care of. I would not hesitate to use Carrie again. She was very interactive with me throughout Ellie’s stay which was very reassuring. Thank you Carrie!!”

“OMG! Alyssa and Marcus were amazing!!! It was Sam's first time being away from home. I was super nervous because he can get a little anxious and I didn't know how he would adjust to being away from home. We thought about it over some time and Alyssa and Marcus were able to accomodate our plans last minute. Before the reservation was even finalized, they were so helpful and reassuring. They kept me updated throughout his stay with so many pictures and reassurances. It really put my mind at ease. Sam had such a good time with Zara, Alyssa, and Marcus...I think he was upset he had to leave! I can't imagine sending him anywhere else. I definitely weill be booking with them again.”

“Jen and her husband Dan are the best! Jen is always our first choice of pet sitter and we’ve used her multiple times now. “All the hype about Dante is true! He’s communicative, accommodating, and really great energy. He asks a lot of questions to ensure my Kado was well taken care of. Dante is someone who truly loves what he does and that makes me happy. I think Kado and I found a permanent sitter until Dante retires us lol”

“Kristine is the best dog sitter! Spookie enjoyed his visit very much. We feel so comfortable and know that Spookie is being very well taken care of. She is so accommodating and follows his instructions. Kristine is an excellent communicator. We will use her services again! We are a repeat customer.”

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”
