About: I’ve been taking care of my special-needs pup, Dottie, for 8 years. She’s on a strict diet and takes meds too, so I’m good with following precise instructions. I have a loving and serene home where Dottie and I can welcome your pup. I work from home on Fridays, so I am available for boarding for long weekends. We could coordinate a Thursday evening drop-off if need be. On the weekends, I go to a pilates class and run errands, but am otherwise around as company for the dogs. My yard is only partially fenced, so I will be taking the dogs on leashed walks. Dottie sleeps in bed with me, so it’s okay if your pup needs to as well. If your dog is crate-trained, that is okay too.

From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. About: I have a miniature Australian Shepherd named Cocoa who is almost 4. She is the sweetest girl who LOVES toys and playing with other dogs Also have experience with anxious/nervous dogs as Cocoa is pretty anxious herself! I work as a therapist full time during the week however I am fully home in the evenings from 4pm on! Since I work during the week ideally drop off times for boarding would be 4pm on. I am also available for those who may need a sitter just for the evening! Weekends I am always home and they would have around the clock care for both daycare and boarding! Also willing to travel for pick ups/drop offs if needed! Also if you book with enough notice, there is a good chance I can request time off to be home for full supervision during the week! I have a fenced yard and my apartment is a pretty large size for them to roam/play! There is also a dog park in my apartment community if they have extra energy to burn off! I can accommodate whatever is needed as far as crating at night or gating off sections of the home. However, I am more than happy to let them be anywhere they feel comfortable. I am able to watch one pet for daycare or boarding services at a time so that I am able to prioritize your pups needs!

About: I've had dogs most of my life and loved dogs my entire life. I started fostering dogs after my last two pups passed away and I just recently adopted my latest foster- a 10 year old one-eyed blind chiweenie named Maude and she loves to hang out with a pack so we welcome other small dogs or mellow/senior medium sized dogs. We live in a house with a fully fenced yard in a lovely walkable neighborhood with walking trails all around me. Ive had a cockapoo, boxer/ridgeback mix and most recently 2 dachshunds. I also am a regular foster and have hosted everything from poodles to pitties at my house. I do have a soft spot for the seniors as my last doxie had back issues at 15y/o and needed lots of extra help so I understand that stage of life and am so awed by their sweet and stoic nature as they age. I'm working from home these days so I'm home a LOT! I understand all dogs are unique and would love to chat with you about whether my house and I are a good fit for your pup(s). I am home a lot and able to walk, feed and play with your pups throughout the day and when I'm home on weekends I love to be outdoors walking or in my backyard and my dogs tended to be a part of all I did on the weekends! I do travel on occasion to see family but I keep my calendar up to date as much as possible so you can look ahead for bookings. My backyard is fully fenced with a big grassy lawn so your dog can play safely outside and take quick potty breaks between walks. We are home a lot so the pups tend to join us from room to room. I encourage per parents to bring us toys and beds and anything that makes the pups relaxed and at home.
