About: I’ve been taking care of my special-needs pup, Dottie, for 8 years. She’s on a strict diet and takes meds too, so I’m good with following precise instructions. I have a loving and serene home where Dottie and I can welcome your pup. I work from home on Fridays, so I am available for boarding for long weekends. We could coordinate a Thursday evening drop-off if need be. On the weekends, I go to a pilates class and run errands, but am otherwise around as company for the dogs. My yard is only partially fenced, so I will be taking the dogs on leashed walks. Dottie sleeps in bed with me, so it’s okay if your pup needs to as well. If your dog is crate-trained, that is okay too.

“Melissa and Dan were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Princess Leia. She’s a small terrier and very much a COVID puppy, so she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs. I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. About: I have a miniature Australian Shepherd named Cocoa who is almost 4. She is the sweetest girl who LOVES toys and playing with other dogs Also have experience with anxious/nervous dogs as Cocoa is pretty anxious herself! I work as a therapist full time during the week however I am fully home in the evenings from 4pm on! Since I work during the week ideally drop off times for boarding would be 4pm on. I am also available for those who may need a sitter just for the evening! Weekends I am always home and they would have around the clock care for both daycare and boarding! Also willing to travel for pick ups/drop offs if needed! Also if you book with enough notice, there is a good chance I can request time off to be home for full supervision during the week! I have a fenced yard and my apartment is a pretty large size for them to roam/play! There is also a dog park in my apartment community if they have extra energy to burn off! I can accommodate whatever is needed as far as crating at night or gating off sections of the home. However, I am more than happy to let them be anywhere they feel comfortable. I am able to watch one pet for daycare or boarding services at a time so that I am able to prioritize your pups needs!

“This was our first time using a pet sitter for Shibu (a Shih-Tsu) as we took our 3 week vacation. We couldn't be happier with how well Kimberly took care of her. Kim sent us regular pics and Shibu looked always active and happy, so we knew she was being well cared for. she has a fenced in backyard which is a major plus.
