About: I’ve been taking care of my special-needs pup, Dottie, for 8 years. She’s on a strict diet and takes meds too, so I’m good with following precise instructions. I have a loving and serene home where Dottie and I can welcome your pup. I work from home on Fridays, so I am available for boarding for long weekends. We could coordinate a Thursday evening drop-off if need be. On the weekends, I go to a pilates class and run errands, but am otherwise around as company for the dogs. My yard is only partially fenced, so I will be taking the dogs on leashed walks. Dottie sleeps in bed with me, so it’s okay if your pup needs to as well. If your dog is crate-trained, that is okay too.

From raising family pets and fostering animals in need — including those with medical requirements — to volunteering at local animal shelters and working summers at a pet boarding and grooming salon, I've developed a deep understanding of animal behavior and care. My commitment is simple: your pets will be safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. As a homebody at heart, I've found that my quiet days leave plenty of room to open my home and heart to more animal companionship. I'm looking for meaningful ways to fill my time, and connecting with new pets feels like the perfect fit. I also have a dog of my own who is wonderful with other animals — he'd love nothing more than making new furry friends, and I know he'll bring extra joy and companionship to any pet in our care. While I don't currently have a yard, that's something I'm looking forward to adding in the future.
