About: I have been pet-sitting for my neighbors, boss, and co-workers since 2010. While I occasionally board pets in my home, I usually provide pet/house-sitting in the customer's home. I walk/feed/brush dogs, administer oral medication if indicated, and spend time playing with them. I also take in mail, water plants, and take out trash/recycling. I am a newly retired teacher, now only working part time. I am available for your pet care needs early morning, early afternoon, & evenings. “Debbie sent pictures and all I saw were 2 small dogs who did not miss their human Mom. There was play time (smiles and action), down time (cuddling and relaxing). I was always under the impression they sat in a corner and missed me with all their tiny hearts, but no - Debbie had them going the whole time! One fell asleep on the drive home due to the days action, the other needed every minute of tthe days action! Her property is amazing! Gorgeous setting only maybe two or three miles from downtown Bernardsville. So much safe space to run and play in. Exploring is at the top of Louie's requirements and he had a whole acre of fenced in yard to get all his Terrier on! Thanks so much Debbie! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!”

My husband and I have a very active goldendoodle, Bell, who is 9 years old. Neither of us remember a time when there wasn't a dog in the house growing up! About: I have lots of experience with dogs and absolutely love spending time with them — playing, teaching tricks, and taking them on walks. I grew up around dogs and have a real passion for it! I only take one dog at a time, so your pup gets my full attention and focus throughout the stay. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can walk your dog in the early morning, during lunch, and in the late afternoon/evening — basically as needed throughout the day. About: Like most I have had dogs my entire life but my last soul mate of 16 years died a year ago and I cannot bring myself to get another dog. That being said, we love animals in this household and want them around all the time...I think you get it. My other job is a professional nature photographer so not only will you get amazing photos of your dog, I can bring them with me on my assignments if you like. Like I said in my experience, my other job is a professional photographer giving me hours and hours at my house editing my work. Also, my partner Julie is a yoga teacher who works for herself so there is always someone home. The most important thing is that it is your dog, your rules. We have the most inviting back yard but it is not fenced, however, our house is in a rural community with great neighbors. Your dog will never be off a leash if that is your wish.

I love playing with dogs even if it’s just a calm walk through the park or tossing a ball for hours.
