“I have spent a lot time searching Rover trying to find the best place to send my 8 yr old vizsla, Tasha, while I travel and I am extremely happy that I chose Kirk & Anita. They were very responsive, so I was able to schedule a meet & greet right away. Their property/home is well maintained (gorgeous!) and very spacious. Kirk is excellent at letting you get acclimated to the property before introducing his own dogs to your pup. The entire meet & greet was extremely pleasant and you leave knowing that your dog will be in good hands. Tasha just spent 2 nights with Kirk & Anita and I received updates/pictures throughout her visit which was great since it was her first time staying overnight. I picked up a happy, great smelling (complimentary bath), exhausted pup (lots of play and walks) along with a surprise tote bag - complete with treats - to use when she goes back and forth from her visits there. “Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”

She has plenty of space for him to run and play. The thing I'm most grateful for is the fact she doesn't have carpeting. One very unique and creative thing she did was using a small canvas she'd take the colors from his coat and applied them to the canvas and put the canvas in a zip lock bag. Than using Theo's paws would let him create a special piece of artwork. Which she gave to me when I picked him up. She is truly Amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to leave my fur babies with her again.”

About: I've raised dogs my entire life! Over the last 5 years, I've started house sitting for family friends for upwards of 3-4 weeks at a time, adding cats, bunnies, and birds to the rotation. Currently until the end of June, I will be working about 4 days a week as a substitute teacher. I'm usually out of the house by 6:30a and home around 3:15p. The property has a large fenced in yard for Franco to run around. He had a room with a door, window and mattress which he napped on. Kelly followed instructions and I felt at ease the time I was away from him. Recommend her highly for dog care, and is located near the shore area for vacationing parents. I just don't feel comfortable trusting them without it. I have a "TWO DOOR POLICY", which just means that if any exterior doors are opened, your pet will either be leashed to go outside before or will be placed in a bedroom behind another door before the exterior door can be opened. Absolutely no chance for an escape artist!

I love to play ball/fetch with my dogs, I play a lot of puzzle games, I take them for a run or car ride to sniff & tire themselves out.
About: I have worked with animals at a boarding facility and then transferred to two veterinary hospital as a technician assistant and training tech. I also own my own dog named Titan who is 9 years old and a cat named Mami who is around 3. I’m pretty well trained with aggressive pets and even messy one who tend to potty leak because of old age! I’m extremely loving with every pets and love to give them as much photo ops as I can during our play dates to update the parent :) I’m currently in school full time but attend them mostly online. On Tuesday I go from 2-4:30pm and am free for the rest of the week. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities when caring for pets. I have experience working as a veterinary assistant, so I’m familiar with monitoring pet behavior, recognizing signs of stress or illness, and safely handling animals. In my home and my client’s home, I keep the environment clean, calm, and pet-friendly. I also follow any instructions given by the owner, including feeding schedules, medication, crate routines, or special care. As a pet owner myself with both a dog and a cat, I understand how important it is to treat every pet with patience, kindness, and attention.

“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”
“Lisa was wonderful with Theo my cat. He responded very well to her gentle, soft spoken, and kind manner. He often slept with her and would make bread while sitting on her lap. She has plenty of space for him to run and play. The thing I'm most grateful for is the fact she doesn't have carpeting. One very unique and creative thing she did was using a small canvas she'd take the colors from his coat and applied them to the canvas and put the canvas in a zip lock bag. Than using Theo's paws would let him create a special piece of artwork. Which she gave to me when I picked him up. She is truly Amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to leave my fur babies with her again.”

We have two rescues that we love and adore and can't wait to welcome your pet to our pack for a mini vacation while you play. Located in a wooded area and convenient to the AC expressway for easy drop off and pick up. Lots of trails behind our home for long shady walks. We are available for your dogs on Friday, after 5pm drop offs and can watch through the weekend with a pick up on Sunday, anytime before 5pm. Our pets are treated like family. We have lots of space, a large fenced in yard and plenty of room for the dogs to remain together or separated if need be.
