“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”

“A day before I was due to leave for a weekend trip to NY I found myself still struggling to figure out arrangements for my 5-year-old chipoo, Dixie. I've never left her overnight with anyone before - only for a few hours here and there with family members. Dixie and I both suffer from separation anxiety (from one another haha) and I began searching online not thinking that I would ever find someone good enough to watch my little girl. When I came across Anita and Kirk, I knew instantly that they shared the same love for dogs as I. Dixie and I went to visit and check things out early the next morning and what amazed me most about Kirk and Anita was their attention and dedication to each animal and their specific needs. My specific need was that my little girl would be able to sleep in bed just as she does at home. Whatever your dog is used to at home, they will replicate it! From the pictures and videos that I received for the two days that I was away, I was able to tell that my baby was being spoiled on the Furry Farm just as much as she is at home. They made sure Dixie was comfortable and they reassured me that she was safe and well taken care of. They are definitely one of a kind and I doubt that I'd ever be able to find that level of treatment, care, attention, and affection with anyone else. I would recommend them over and over again and will certainly be using their services again when needed. She has plenty of space for him to run and play. The thing I'm most grateful for is the fact she doesn't have carpeting. One very unique and creative thing she did was using a small canvas she'd take the colors from his coat and applied them to the canvas and put the canvas in a zip lock bag. Than using Theo's paws would let him create a special piece of artwork. Which she gave to me when I picked him up. She is truly Amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to leave my fur babies with her again.”

About: I’ve had many pets since I was a kid. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, mice, birds, guinea pigs, ducks and fish. I am an aspiring wildlife biologist and would love to learn more about animals. College student home for summer. I am looking to work multiple jobs this summer. My schedule is flexible and normally I am not busy, but the sooner you get in touch the better. “Lisa was wonderful with Theo my cat. He responded very well to her gentle, soft spoken, and kind manner. He often slept with her and would make bread while sitting on her lap. She has plenty of space for him to run and play. The thing I'm most grateful for is the fact she doesn't have carpeting. One very unique and creative thing she did was using a small canvas she'd take the colors from his coat and applied them to the canvas and put the canvas in a zip lock bag. Than using Theo's paws would let him create a special piece of artwork. Which she gave to me when I picked him up. She is truly Amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to leave my fur babies with her again.”

About: I have always grown up with dogs. I’ve helped train my own and have been relied on to watch neighbors’ and friends’ over the years as well! I worked for a dog walking company for over a year. I am a graduating college student with a good bit of free time most days and will be free for most the summer to care for your pets. I will play, pet, and walk with your dogs as needed, and enjoy every second of it. If needed to be in a crate i will place a toy with them and provide a treat if allowed.
