“Kirk immediately put me at ease about leaving my somewhat spoiled, always supervised , many food/ environmental allergies 9yo male pekinese. It’s necessary to watch he only gets the food and treats provided and allergy med twice a day. I feel that’s a tall order, but Kirk and Anita were wonderful. Sent update pictures so I knew he was fine and they treated like their own family pet. Can’t thank them enough. And recommend using them 100%. About: We are dedicating this to our Baby Diamond, a pittie that we had since the age of 6 months. She gave us unconditional love for 13 years. We truly miss her. I have never known what it is like to live in a house without at least one dog and I don't think I ever will. I started pet sitting for family and friends about 8 years ago and haven't looked back. If you would like your dog to be bathed right before picking up, we can arrange that as well! Dogs *MUST* be good with children and cats. About: Hello ! My name is Amanda and I have been around dogs my entire life. I’ve recently moved into a new house and am looking to get back into helping you and your pets ! I have never known what it is like to live in a house without at least one dog and I don't think I ever will. I started pet sitting for family and friends about 8 years ago and haven't looked back. I have experience with all different breeds ranging from Huskies to Chihuahuas. I also have experience with there being more than one dog in the house so that is no problem. I currently have two dogs, Leo and Koda. Leo is a 11 year old Terrier/Toy Collie mix and Koda is a 8 year old Catahoula mix. I have experience walking dogs, feeding dogs, taking animals to their scheduled vet appointments, and making sure they use the bathroom frequently. Diana was able to take my standard poodle last minute after we figured a heat wave would be too much for him to endure over a long camping weekend. We have resorted to only booking places like airbnbs that are dog friendly because he would get SO stressed out (and even refused to get out of the car last time we brought him to a reputable kennel in our area). It was terrible because he's a VERY easy going and happy guy. I could tell he felt at home at Diana's because he was his usual calm and composed when I came back to get him (unlike at the kennel where he would go bonkers and be beside himself to see us again) and he settled right back in at home like nothing, not at all like when he would come home after staying at the kennel where he's completely out of sorts for a good couple days. He obviously had a very pleasant, stress-free stay--a vacation for him as well as for us!
