I contacted a few people, but kept coming back to the Furry Farm. I sent them an email, and Kirk immediately responded explaining how life on the farm works. I don't often leave my dog behind, and all of my nerves were calmed throughout several messages leading up to her stay. I got lots of photos and several videos during her vacation, and she received a bath on pickup day. I hope to book next year's vacation here as well! “Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”

I tend to be able to work around any conflicts to help better serve others. I treat all pets as if they’re my own. Safe walks, making sure the ground isn’t too hot, hydration, and some kind of stimulation makes a happy pup. If it is too hot for walking, and depending on what you’re comfortable with, either a walk indoors at a dog friendly store or enrichment in the home, or just playtime on grass can be offered.

I own a home on a medium sized lot,so your dog has somewhere to safely play. The backyard is fenced off while the front is not. I also live in a relatively small neighborhood (2x3) blocks that's perfect for going on walks with the pups! I will take really good care of your family member as I would my own. My baby ‘Bear’ was a shelter dog so I was extremely worried. Not a problem! She took care of our old man (old Rottie) and after that, I have no hesitations leaving my dog with her. About: I have taken care of pets my entire life. I’ve had dogs, cats and fish. I’ve cared for lizards and small furry friends as well. I will always stop to pet a dog and I’ve had animals come up to me out in the wild on multiple occasions. Although I currently do not have a pet, I love sitting for my friends. I’ve cared for all size and age of dog from a few months to 16 years. I believe pets are family and should be treated as such. Im currently off for the summer but teaching summer school for the month of July. My schedule is pretty open and much if what I do have scheduled is flexible. Although I live in an apartment, my complex is extremely pet friendly with 4 dog parks and a full walking loop with poop bags around the entire property.

She sent me a video every day which gave me comfort and reassurance that my dogs were happy and well cared for. They enjoyed the comforts of a home away from home and had no issues while with Beth.
