He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. I have been struggling finding the perfect place to take my fur babies when I work long hours or am away for a night occasionally. He was flexible with the hours I needed for drop off and pick up. As soon as my dogs got there they were venturing around the enclosed fence area and seemed very happy. My maltipoo has separation anxiety and you wouldn’t have known it when I dropped her off to Kirk. My boxer is a puppy and Kirk was willing to take on having a high energy puppy for a long duration of time. I can’t say enough good things about Kirk for this being only my first time taking my dogs to him and his wife. I will be booking again immediately and have every intention of using Kirk and Anita for any needs I have in the future regarding doggy day care and/or overnight stays.”

I have a "TWO DOOR POLICY", which just means that if any exterior doors are opened, your pet will either be leashed to go outside before or will be placed in a bedroom behind another door before the exterior door can be opened. Absolutely no chance for an escape artist!

“Our frenchie (Homer) stayed with Caroline over Labor Day Weekend and she was great! Very communicative and she also sent us pictures of Homer throughout the weekend which was very thoughtful. Drop off and pick up were easy. When we picked him up we could tell he didn’t want to leave and he had such a good time with Caroline and her family. We would highly recommend Caroline and if we lived closer would use her more often to watch Homer.”

After having our normal boarding facility cancel on us due to overbooking before a vacation, I quickly visited rover to see if I could find a suitable match for Swift. Kate responded in about 10 minutes and accepted the booking, a true life saver! Swift loved his time at Kate’s beautiful home. He has been pooped since you pickup and I know he truly got the attention and exercise that he needs. Kate sent tons of pictures which really eased my mind while I was on vacation. About: I have taken care of pets my entire life. I’ve had dogs, cats and fish. I’ve cared for lizards and small furry friends as well. I will always stop to pet a dog and I’ve had animals come up to me out in the wild on multiple occasions. Although I currently do not have a pet, I love sitting for my friends. I’ve cared for all size and age of dog from a few months to 16 years. I believe pets are family and should be treated as such. Im currently off for the summer but teaching summer school for the month of July. My schedule is pretty open and much if what I do have scheduled is flexible. Although I live in an apartment, my complex is extremely pet friendly with 4 dog parks and a full walking loop with poop bags around the entire property.
