I contacted a few people, but kept coming back to the Furry Farm. I sent them an email, and Kirk immediately responded explaining how life on the farm works. I don't often leave my dog behind, and all of my nerves were calmed throughout several messages leading up to her stay. I got lots of photos and several videos during her vacation, and she received a bath on pickup day. I hope to book next year's vacation here as well! “Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”

About: I've raised dogs my entire life! Over the last 5 years, I've started house sitting for family friends for upwards of 3-4 weeks at a time, adding cats, bunnies, and birds to the rotation. Currently until the end of June, I will be working about 4 days a week as a substitute teacher. I'm usually out of the house by 6:30a and home around 3:15p. If it's a day where I don't have a job scheduled, then I'm free :) I am very adaptable, reliable, clean and thoughtful when it comes to caring for clients animals, especially in their homes. “Our first meeting was the meet and great and I felt comfortable leaving Franco at Kelly's house for day care. Kelly was caring and friendly to our lab. The property has a large fenced in yard for Franco to run around. He had a room with a door, window and mattress which he napped on. Kelly followed instructions and I felt at ease the time I was away from him. Recommend her highly for dog care, and is located near the shore area for vacationing parents. About: Volunteered at a dog shelter (Rylies rescue) and for an organization called pawsibilities housing up to 50+ cats plus animals like farm animals, birds, and everything in between, so I’m very familiar with all sorts of animals and temperaments. About: I’ve watched multiple dogs at once all my life, making sure they get all the attention and love they need. I also love to just walk around so your babies will get the exercise they need. I’m free most hours Sunday through Thursday. Saturday and Friday get a little iffy but I’m sure I can work stuff out. I work part time so most of my day would be spent caring for your dogs. About: I have grown up with dogs almost all of my life and they are great! I drive around for work as a speech therapist, so if you need someone to pop in and let your dog out, maybe we can work something out! I also enjoy taking dogs for walks, too. I also live in a relatively small neighborhood (2x3) blocks that's perfect for going on walks with the pups! I will take really good care of your family member as I would my own. My husband and I have owned dogs out entire life and since we don't have children, our dogs are a willing substitute, we will both be caring for your loved one while they stay with us. The rest of that time I enjoy doing crafts, playing with the dogs outside and inside, playing pool and making a new snuggle buddy. I have dealt with the escape artist routine and don't want to pose that risk to your pet. We have a backyard with a fence and will remain on a leash no matter what. I just don't feel comfortable trusting them without it. I have a "TWO DOOR POLICY", which just means that if any exterior doors are opened, your pet will either be leashed to go outside before or will be placed in a bedroom behind another door before the exterior door can be opened. Absolutely no chance for an escape artist!

About: I have always had a love for animals. I had dogs growing up, and now have a cat, Nick. I began volunteering for the Beacon Animal Shelter about 9 months ago. It has absolutely changed my life in the BEST way! I promise to go above and beyond and love your fur babies just as much as you do, if not more! I work full time as a Records Clerk, and part time as a 911 dispatcher. I am available all days of the week, but I am pretty flexible. I have 2 children who share my love for animals, and I know they would be thrilled to assist me in loving and caring for your pets. My cat, Nick is getting older, so we have to take special care in making sure his food is soft enough for him to chew. About: I have taken care of pets my entire life. I’ve had dogs, cats and fish. I’ve cared for lizards and small furry friends as well. I will always stop to pet a dog and I’ve had animals come up to me out in the wild on multiple occasions. Although I currently do not have a pet, I love sitting for my friends. I’ve cared for all size and age of dog from a few months to 16 years. I believe pets are family and should be treated as such. Im currently off for the summer but teaching summer school for the month of July. My schedule is pretty open and much if what I do have scheduled is flexible. Although I live in an apartment, my complex is extremely pet friendly with 4 dog parks and a full walking loop with poop bags around the entire property.
