About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and am comfortable adapting to all personalities ~ from energetic and social to more shy or sensitive. Growing up, our home always had multiple dogs, so I’m very used to different temperaments, routines, and dynamics. I’ve also had hands-on experience supporting pregnant dogs and caring for litters, including situations where extra attention and patience were needed early on. Over time, I’ve learned that every dog is different, and I take the time to understand their behavior, energy, and needs so they feel safe and comfortable. My own dog is very social and friendly, and since we’re new to the area, she would love to make some new friends as well. About: I am an animal-loving, high school science teacher, located in Harrison, NJ (previously in Secaucus, Jersey City and Union City). I welcomed my own puppy home in May 2021 and have plenty of experience taking care of my sisters’ three dogs. I live in a spacious townhouse at a pet-friendly complex that has its own dog park. I’m very good with strict schedules & routines and love taking pictures & videos of my furry friends, so their humans won’t have to worry! I am at work from 7:30am to 4pm every Monday to Friday. I can do check-ins outside of these times. I can board and do doggy daycare only on weekends (starting Friday evening) and my days off, as I do not feel comfortable leaving any animal alone while I’m at work. I am a school teacher, so during the summer, I’ll be home for a majority of the day throughout the week! If I have to leave a pet alone, I will use a pet gate, playpen, or crate as needed so no pet gets into any dangerous situation. For check-ins, I will keep your space as clean as possible, so your pet doesn’t get in any icky situations! I will respect your home and always communicate what I’m doing.

My two English cocker spaniels hold a special place in my heart, making them my absolute world, alongside my spaniel before my current two that I had for 17 years, who passed away in 2019. I also have two English cocker spaniels, who are siblings, named Parker and Riley. They are friendly and calm after the initial few minutes. Parker and Riley are both six years old, and my husband and I ensure their well-being by keeping them well-groomed. About: I have cared for other people's dogs--roommates, friends, neighbors--since childhood, many decades! I've lived with cats, dogs and birds. I said goodbye to my rescue Westie of almost 17 years during 2025, and I’m not ready for another long-term pet commitment yet. I puppy trained her (with trainer) from 4 months and provided senior care for the last few years. I am very patient when meeting new animal souls, allowing them to come to me when they’re ready. I have been taking shelter dogs on Afternoon Adventures and have been successful with helping to train dogs in my care. My love for animals started when I volunteered to dog-walk and help find dogs a home at an SPCA in Charleston, SC for 3 yrs. Since then, I’ve been taking care of my family, friends, and neighbors dogs :) I’ll only confirm a dog-walk and dog sitting shift if I’m working from home and can guarantee I can be present with your fur baby •Affection (dogs love company that make them feel comfortable and loved). I work in an office in midtown Manhattan from 9-5 Monday-Friday, besides that I'm generally available to give the rest of my evening to other things, considering I have no commitments for my internship outside the office. How I care for other pets completely depends on the animal I'm looking after. Making sure to reciprocate whatever the dog is showing is the priority in most cases.
About: I started doing rover because of my own negative experiences with past pet care providers. I wanted to be the right pet sitter for pet owners so they can have peace of mind when they are away. I know it’s hard to leave your best friend with a total stranger sometimes I feel my dog understands me more than my husband and kids do. About: Hello, my name is Jocelyn. I am a dog lover. My first dog was a boxer. Unfortunately, he passed away from cancer. Now I have two pit bulls. Diesel who I have a pleasure of caring for eight years and Blase who I also have a pleasure of caring since June 2024. I also care for other dogs in my family. About: I am an animal-loving, high school science teacher, located in Harrison, NJ (previously in Secaucus, Jersey City and Union City). I welcomed my own puppy home in May 2021 and have plenty of experience taking care of my sisters’ three dogs. I live in a spacious townhouse at a pet-friendly complex that has its own dog park. I’m very good with strict schedules & routines and love taking pictures & videos of my furry friends, so their humans won’t have to worry! I am at work from 7:30am to 4pm every Monday to Friday. I can do check-ins outside of these times. I can board and do doggy daycare only on weekends (starting Friday evening) and my days off, as I do not feel comfortable leaving any animal alone while I’m at work. I am a school teacher, so during the summer, I’ll be home for a majority of the day throughout the week! If I have to leave a pet alone, I will use a pet gate, playpen, or crate as needed so no pet gets into any dangerous situation. For check-ins, I will keep your space as clean as possible, so your pet doesn’t get in any icky situations! I will respect your home and always communicate what I’m doing.

Eduardo was incredibly accommodating - Ziggy takes medication twice a day and tends to need lots of one-to-one attention.
