“This was our trial run overnight stay for a longer stay we have coming up. Chris lives in a lovely area with a nice little fenced yard for the dogs to play and do their business. He has a cute smaller female mixed breed of his own. Our Finley over other dogs and had good playtime with her. I like that Chris only takes one doggie client at a time so that I know Finley will get the attention and care that he needs. Based on our successful overnight I am going to book Chris for our long trip. I don’t like making recommendations after only one overnight but I am confident that I will be doing just that after his next stay.”

I was always under the impression they sat in a corner and missed me with all their tiny hearts, but no - Debbie had them going the whole time! One fell asleep on the drive home due to the days action, the other needed every minute of tthe days action! Her property is amazing! Gorgeous setting only maybe two or three miles from downtown Bernardsville. So much safe space to run and play in. Exploring is at the top of Louie's requirements and he had a whole acre of fenced in yard to get all his Terrier on! Thanks so much Debbie! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!”

I am a teacher and am home during the summer so I can meet most needs. I am also willing to travel to help a pup in need. I prefer to board at home and I have two small pups at home, Eli and Gidget. Eli is a 12 year old Havanese and Gidget is a 2 year old Brug. They are sweet and get along with all animals and people.
About: I’ve grown up with Beagles and work well with all breeds and ages. I strongly believe that every dog deserves a day out on the town (or maybe just a walk around it). I’m free most weekends and various times during the day. I can do early mornings or late nights, happy to spend time with any dog throughout the day. I knock and ring the doorbell always first, just so the dogs know I’m coming (if they don’t already), walk in, greet everyone and wish the dogs a good morning, feed and water them, then let them have their breakfast and take them on a walk afterwards, always making sure to clean up after them when I first get there and definitely before I leave.

“This was our trial run overnight stay for a longer stay we have coming up. Chris lives in a lovely area with a nice little fenced yard for the dogs to play and do their business. He has a cute smaller female mixed breed of his own. Our Finley over other dogs and had good playtime with her. I like that Chris only takes one doggie client at a time so that I know Finley will get the attention and care that he needs. Based on our successful overnight I am going to book Chris for our long trip. I don’t like making recommendations after only one overnight but I am confident that I will be doing just that after his next stay.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14. I’m comfortable with any breed. I feel I am someone who is a reliable and trustworthy. I’m currently working remote and at home, which means I can take care of pups anytime of the day. Some days this may vary but overall I’m open. I have a yard in an apartment complex in which I bring my dogs out to run around and play. I have 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur babies entertained. I can crate your dogs if needed too.

“It is always hard leaving your beloved pet in a new place with people he doesn’t know. Joe and Joann were so warm and welcoming to both us and to our Rudy. They have a great fenced in yard that allowed for lots of interesting sniffs, and a loving home. Rudy is so very shy, so I’m sure he was a bit sad at his first overnight, but I know he’ll warm up to his new “spot” very quickly. We got lots of photos and encouraging comments during his stay. That helps a lot! We will definitely be back.”

I recently lost my Beagle and while I’m not quite ready to have another dog of my own, I truly miss having a dog around. Caring for your pup feels like the perfect way to have some extra four legged company while giving your dog lots of love and attention! I’m responsible, patient, and dependable and I’ll treat your dog like they are my own. I’m happy to provide walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding and plenty of cuddles. I work during the school day Monday-Friday, but I’m available after work and have much more flexibility on weekends. I’m available for boarding on weekends. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, potty routines, and any special needs or preferences.
