About: I've had a love for dogs for as long as I can remember. In college, I fostered over 10 dogs and cats before they found their forever home. Recently, I raised and trained a dog of my own which taught me all the necessities of being a great dog mom:) My sweet Luna is a five-year-old border collie filled with lots of love for new people and furry friends. About: For the past 5 years, I’ve had a yellow labrador retriever named Hazel who is very energetic and playful. She’s my best friend! I’ve done house drop ins for friends and family for both dogs and cats to check in and take care of them. 💗 I currently work as a part-time before/aftercare teacher at a couple different elementary schools. I work Monday-Friday but have availability from 9:30am-2:30pm and after 6 pm. My weekends are free! I help my family feed our dog and provide her with water. I also take her on walks, to the park or play fetch in our backyard which has a good amount of running space for her. Although my dogs don’t need a leash, I find it’s necessary to generally have a leash attached. I allow my dogs to be curious, and put there noses where many wouldn’t generally allow. It’s important to always cover your stove switches/ burners with dog safety devices!. But ultimately I strongly believe in allowing your dogs and pets to be curious and open to learning. Dogs and cats alike are much smarter then most realize, and I believe this is there first time living as well.. and deserve the best experiences life has to offer!

I have experience feeding, walking, giving some medicines and playing with all pets. I have experience with aging pets, including senior cats and diabetic dogs requiring insulin. “Our dog, Rocky, had a wonderful stay with Rick! Rick's sharp attention to Rocky's needs allowed him to connect with our sensitive, people-friendly pup easily. He took the time to acclimate him to his new surroundings and then gave him plenty of exercise and attention. On top of that, I personally found Rick to be "customer service" oriented, extending several offers to me to ease our timing of pick-up logistics as well as sending several pics and videos of Rocky's adventures. It was a home run! We'll be back!”

“We boarded out Goldendoodle Max with Kayla for an extended Father's Day weekend and we are very happy with the entire experience. Kayla was very prompt in responding and initiating communication and she sent periodic pictures. She was also able to accommodate our drop off and pick up schedule. I am sure Max had a good time playing with her daughters and her dog Barkley. We would absolutely recommend her and would not hesitate to book her again in the future.”
“This was our first time leaving our husky Blaze with William, when we had to travel. It all went very well. He was taking good care of our boy. He took him for nice walks, sent us pictures every day and communicated thoroughly. And when our flight got cancelled at the last moment, and we couldn't get back home the day we planned, William was flexible to allow us to extend Blaze's stay by one more day. Definitely would recommend him 👍”

“My first time leaving Lola alone with anyone so naturally I was very nervous, but as soon as I met Sam I felt much better. She has a very calming and nurturing spirit and my dog took to her and her family instantly. Her home is clean and tidy and even has a backyard. While I was away Sam followed all directions, sent photos and any necessary updates about Lola. I would definitely book with her again and now I know I don’t have to worry the next time I need to go out of town.”

Mary sent me photos which made my day and just reinforced my comfort level of leaving her with someone for week. They have a wonderful, shaded big backyard that is an oasis for dogs.
