She took excellent care of Denver all while providing us with updates, pictures, and videos which we very much appreciated while out of country. Dog hotels don’t do that; they just let dogs play all day everyday—which ended with Denver coming home exhausted and sometimes sick from all the stimulation and exposure. About: I can’t remember a time I didn’t have a pet of some sort under my care! From dogs, to birds, to fish, to frogs, I’ve really done it all! While I don’t have a furry friend of my own yet in vet school, I would love to take yours in and treat them like my own. I’ve already dedicated my life to the wellbeing of animals—why not include yours in that too! I’m currently a veterinary student so my schedule is a bit dynamic! I’m free 24/7 over the summer, but starting in September my schedule becomes a bit more dynamic. Feel free to reach out and see if our availabilities are a match! About: Hi! I've been fostering dogs from a local shelter for a little over 2 years. In that time, I've helped about 20 dogs find their forever families. There's been dogs in our home ranging in age from 9 months to 9 years, all with a different story. Abused, neglected, owner surrender, stray, court case holds, seniors, puppies, overweight, super skinny and anything else you can think of! I treated them all with empathy and showered them affection to earn their trust and love. Many of my former fosters come for visits while their owners are on vacation. Any pup that comes through my doors will be cared for and treated with respect, just like my fosters! I work at a school, so I'm currently on summer break. When school is in session, I work Monday to Friday 9-1, and I'm off evenings, weekends and holidays. I also work in the town in which I reside, so my commute is less than 5 minutes, meaning I'm close by! I have a fully fenced in yard, crates and dog beds in various sizes, bowls, blankets and mounds of toys. I'm also comfortable administering medication if needed.
“I was really nervous about leaving my 6 pound chihuahua with a new person while I went to work during the day. With 3 of 4 legs not working, and a weak bladder, Pinky is quite fragile. Her stay with Madeline was wonderful. She coaxed her to eat, separated her from all dogs except her little terrier, and was forgiving of Pinky’s incontinence. While I hope tomorrow at Pinky’s neurologist visit we can get some answers and Pinky will be strong enough to be left alone after the holidays, if we need daycare again we will definitely be back.”

We have worked with many positive reinforcement trainers in the past to address our pups over-excitability and leash reactivity and Gregory using much of the same language as these dog trainers when discussing strategies he used on his walks with Izzy to help redirect and keep her focused and safe. Our pup is very scent driven on walks which can require a lot of patience and steady redirection, and we are so grateful for how kind and gentle Gregory is when handling Izzy. We've only had one overnight experience with Gregory so far and he took great care of our home and left the house spotless! He also ensured us that he only books one overnight stay at a time to avoid any conflicts in schedule and make sure our dog has company throughout the night and to keep her safe in the event of an emergency. All that being said, you will have no regrets choosing with work with Gregory and we feel very fortunate to have found him!”
