“Excellent experience with boarding our senior dog. Because of our dog's age, we usually travel with him, but in this case that wasn't possible. We met with Brian and his wife before our trip, which gave us an opportunity to see how our dog would fare while we were away, and we felt very comfortable with dropping him off with them. They did a great job taking some special instructions into consideration, given his age. You can tell right away that they are caring "dog people". About: My home was set up for an 80lb dog with a fenced in yard and areas around the house. Should be very comfortable for any dog. I’m very attentive to the pets, making sure their needs are met and that they are safe and sound. When I take on a job, my schedule is pretty cleared out for it since I’m a retired person. I can schedule my time around the care of your pet. I care for pets in my home by keeping an eye on them. Taking them out into the fenced yard and walking them twice a day. If they like to play fetch or tug I’ll do that with them too. I keep them fed, watered, exercised and rested.

About: Cats have completely stolen my heart. 🐱 Over the past 7 years, I've worked with, fostered, and loved cats of all ages, personalities, and medical needs. Once I started working with cats, I knew they had become my favorite animals to care for. Along the way, I've fostered kittens, participated in TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts, and helped many cats find their forever homes. My home is currently ruled by 6 very spoiled cats (and their two doggy sisters that they love), and each kitty has taught me something different about feline behavior and care. Springer is on behavioral medication and eats a prescription urinary diet, so I'm very familiar with administering medications and managing special medical needs. Mary Jane and Willow like to remind me that cats can be wonderfully quirky—they both have behavioral urination habits that have taught me lots of patience and understanding. Willow is also crate trained! April keeps me on my toes with her constant need of love & affection, while Figaro is my biggest success story. He was the most fearful foster I've ever had, and after years of patience and letting him go at his own pace, he blossomed into the sweetest lap cat. Then there's my little orange dude, Lil' Dorito, who joined our family as a tiny 4- to 5-week-old kitten that I bottle-fed around the clock. One of the most special cats I had the privilege to love & care for was my hospice girl, Cleo. She was only with our family for six beautiful months, but she left the biggest paw print on my heart. Despite her health challenges, she was the sweetest, shy little mama's girl. Caring for her was one of the greatest honors of my life. Living with six cats means I understand that every cat is wonderfully unique. Some want to be your best friend immediately, while others prefer to admire you from across the room—and that's perfectly okay! I always let cats set the pace, because earning their trust is one of the most rewarding parts of caring for them. For clients interested in doggy daycare and/or boarding services, dogs will have access to a fenced-in backyard for supervised potty and outdoor playtime, as well as an indoor gated doggy playpen on the main/living floor of the house (see Gallery), filled with plenty of enrichment activities and toys. They may also access the hardwood-floor living area just outside of the pen. Proof of core vaccines is required and your dog must be on a flea/tick preventative to keep all of our furry friends safe. Clients who wish to may also bring a crate and/or any special comforting items. Baby gates will be placed on steps as an additional safeguard. Walks can be added to these services as well. Currently i am only taking one client at a time. During the day, my Dachshund Moose will be in the playpen (I monitor for play breaks and can keep dogs separate if necessary) and at night he sleeps with us so your doggy will have the pen to himself for some beauty sleep. About: My home was set up for an 80lb dog with a fenced in yard and areas around the house. Should be very comfortable for any dog. I’m very attentive to the pets, making sure their needs are met and that they are safe and sound. When I take on a job, my schedule is pretty cleared out for it since I’m a retired person. I can schedule my time around the care of your pet. I care for pets in my home by keeping an eye on them. Taking them out into the fenced yard and walking them twice a day. If they like to play fetch or tug I’ll do that with them too. I keep them fed, watered, exercised and rested.
