“A day before I was due to leave for a weekend trip to NY I found myself still struggling to figure out arrangements for my 5-year-old chipoo, Dixie. I've never left her overnight with anyone before - only for a few hours here and there with family members. Dixie and I both suffer from separation anxiety (from one another haha) and I began searching online not thinking that I would ever find someone good enough to watch my little girl. When I came across Anita and Kirk, I knew instantly that they shared the same love for dogs as I. Dixie and I went to visit and check things out early the next morning and what amazed me most about Kirk and Anita was their attention and dedication to each animal and their specific needs. My specific need was that my little girl would be able to sleep in bed just as she does at home. Whatever your dog is used to at home, they will replicate it! From the pictures and videos that I received for the two days that I was away, I was able to tell that my baby was being spoiled on the Furry Farm just as much as she is at home. They made sure Dixie was comfortable and they reassured me that she was safe and well taken care of. They are definitely one of a kind and I doubt that I'd ever be able to find that level of treatment, care, attention, and affection with anyone else. I would recommend them over and over again and will certainly be using their services again when needed. I could tell that Dixie was enjoying her stay from the smiles in her pictures and I think that it was a growing experience for both of us and our separation anxiety! Thank you Kirk and Anita!”

I have been struggling finding the perfect place to take my fur babies when I work long hours or am away for a night occasionally. He was flexible with the hours I needed for drop off and pick up. As soon as my dogs got there they were venturing around the enclosed fence area and seemed very happy. My maltipoo has separation anxiety and you wouldn’t have known it when I dropped her off to Kirk. My boxer is a puppy and Kirk was willing to take on having a high energy puppy for a long duration of time. I can’t say enough good things about Kirk for this being only my first time taking my dogs to him and his wife. I will be booking again immediately and have every intention of using Kirk and Anita for any needs I have in the future regarding doggy day care and/or overnight stays.”

If you would like your dog to be bathed right before picking up, we can arrange that as well! Dogs *MUST* be good with children and cats. Plenty of fresh air and fun. Your pet's feeding (and medicine) schedule will be followed so her routine stays the same. We will care for your pet just like own at our large woodsy home. We will care for your pet just like you would. Your special needs are understood and will be followed. No feeding table scraps. We are 200 feet from the road with room to roam. We only watch dogs 40 pounds and less, so please be honest about your pets weight/size. We watch a maximum of 3 pets at one time. Our pet, Zeus is well adjusted to other pets; Zeus is tick and flea free as we administer Brevacto every 3 months during spring, summer and fall. We also treat our Zeus for parasites (heartworm, roundworms) every 6 months.

About: I have experience with cats with health issues and giving medications. My 18 yr old has CKD and a few other issues he gets supplements for that keep him going. I have volunteered with cats at an animal shelter and helped with dog adoption events as a dog handler. My schedule is very open at the moment so I'm available for whatever is needed. I have 3 cats so I do need to be home several times a day to care for them. My cats are indoor only but I take my 18 year old out on a leash on walks around the yard, but he mostly prefers to be carried. I'm happy to take other cats on walks if they are harness trained, or just play with them indoors. Dogs I will walk of course and play with as needed.

About: Hello my name is Angela and I'm a huge animal enthusiast. I live not to far from most shore towns where people visit including Ocean City, Sea Isle, Avalon, and Stone Harbor. I own a home on a medium sized lot,so your dog has somewhere to safely play. The backyard is fenced off while the front is not. I also live in a relatively small neighborhood (2x3) blocks that's perfect for going on walks with the pups! I will take really good care of your family member as I would my own. I also don't mind sending frequent check ins and I'm guilty of taking to many pictures because they are just so dang cute! Please feel free to contact me anytime, looking forward to hearing from you! I own my own pet transportation company called Angie's Puppy Shuttle. My husband and I have owned dogs out entire life and since we don't have children, our dogs are a willing substitute, we will both be caring for your loved one while they stay with us. They will be welcome to the middle of the bed every night 🤣 Sometimes I am away, traveling cross country to introduce a family to their new puppy. The rest of that time I enjoy doing crafts, playing with the dogs outside and inside, playing pool and making a new snuggle buddy. I have dealt with the escape artist routine and don't want to pose that risk to your pet. We have a backyard with a fence and will remain on a leash no matter what. I just don't feel comfortable trusting them without it. I have a "TWO DOOR POLICY", which just means that if any exterior doors are opened, your pet will either be leashed to go outside before or will be placed in a bedroom behind another door before the exterior door can be opened. Absolutely no chance for an escape artist!

We consider Charlie a part of our family, and we all missed him while we were away. Rebecca set our minds at ease by sending pictures and videos each day, and she shared information about his eating habits (we learned that he doesn’t like his beef wet food). We will definitely use their services again in the future!”

They are very nervous babies but Danielle seems to have the secret on how to make them less anxious and to become comfortable in her home. Infact I was told my Junie did not want to leave! She fed them like we discussed and took ample amount of photos and videos. My husband and I usually don't take vacations that often but we really enjoyed ourselves knowing they were in good hands. About: I have taken care of pets my entire life. I’ve had dogs, cats and fish. I’ve cared for lizards and small furry friends as well. I will always stop to pet a dog and I’ve had animals come up to me out in the wild on multiple occasions. Although I currently do not have a pet, I love sitting for my friends. I’ve cared for all size and age of dog from a few months to 16 years. I believe pets are family and should be treated as such. Im currently off for the summer but teaching summer school for the month of July. My schedule is pretty open and much if what I do have scheduled is flexible. Although I live in an apartment, my complex is extremely pet friendly with 4 dog parks and a full walking loop with poop bags around the entire property.
