“Kirk immediately put me at ease about leaving my somewhat spoiled, always supervised , many food/ environmental allergies 9yo male pekinese. It’s necessary to watch he only gets the food and treats provided and allergy med twice a day. I feel that’s a tall order, but Kirk and Anita were wonderful. Sent update pictures so I knew he was fine and they treated like their own family pet. Can’t thank them enough. And recommend using them 100%. Kirk had me come over once to meet him so he could show me the layout ,explain what to expect ,and meet his own dogs To see how your dog reacts.”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I’ve had extremely large pets and the daintiest little animals. I am always the person at parties petting whatever animal I can get my hands on. Friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets for a long time and I am always happy to do so. Feeding, walking, play time, and enrichment are all things I love to do and do regularly with my dog. My schedule is pretty open except for the occasional doctors appointment and caring for my dad. I tend to be able to work around any conflicts to help better serve others. I treat all pets as if they’re my own. Safe walks, making sure the ground isn’t too hot, hydration, and some kind of stimulation makes a happy pup. If it is too hot for walking, and depending on what you’re comfortable with, either a walk indoors at a dog friendly store or enrichment in the home, or just playtime on grass can be offered.

My husband and I have owned dogs out entire life and since we don't have children, our dogs are a willing substitute, we will both be caring for your loved one while they stay with us. They will be welcome to the middle of the bed every night 🤣 Sometimes I am away, traveling cross country to introduce a family to their new puppy. The rest of that time I enjoy doing crafts, playing with the dogs outside and inside, playing pool and making a new snuggle buddy. I have dealt with the escape artist routine and don't want to pose that risk to your pet. We have a backyard with a fence and will remain on a leash no matter what. I just don't feel comfortable trusting them without it. I have a "TWO DOOR POLICY", which just means that if any exterior doors are opened, your pet will either be leashed to go outside before or will be placed in a bedroom behind another door before the exterior door can be opened. Absolutely no chance for an escape artist!

I love animals and can’t wait to meet yours! 🐾 Other than cats and dogs, I’d be willing to learn any other pet care. I have some experience with fish but am open to friends of all species. Currently on summer break, so I’m available all day for all the pet potty breaks or visits that are needed of me throughout our time together. Responsibility is a very integral aspect of my sitting process. I am hyper vigilant with the safety of pets, so your fur baby will come first and remain in their familiar enviroment!

I have loved animals my whole life, my family has cared for many different pets as we were growing up. I am an animal rescuer, my dog Lucy has been with me for 6 years now. She is very sweet toward other animals and has learned to listen very well, we are training to become a service dog. One of the most exotic animals my family and I have rescued was an owl. About: I have been a pet appreciation magnet as long as I can remember. Even when I am not aiming for the attention, the pets gravitate my way, and i have scritches and belly rubs for them all. I have a rescue of my own for 6+ years now, bichon/poodle mix. Though he had a traumatic start before me, he has adjusted well and is a cuddle bug, and getting better with his socialization with new doggos. I have been a dog sitter for friends over the last 8+ years, when they go on trips. I have experience in minor training, like sit/stay/leash leading, for a few breeds up to 50-70 lbs (no certificates, just repitition and patience). Positive recognition of good behavior and moderate activity (to remedy the bad behavior) when you need me are what I hope to share with your furry family members. I am currently working part-time, so i can set up a schedule of regular pet attention care during part day time hours. Currently I have weekends free if weekend care is requested, though this may change if requests are light. I am working on my house to be able to provide overnight care in the future, making it care friendly for additional furry friends. I have a fenced in, good size yard, and a medium size fur baby of my own to greet stay over friends, though my house needs a little more time for prep before we are ready. I am happy to do drop-ins and day or eve walks at your home, and follow any/all your rules. I respect your needs and want to make sure your fur baby is safe and happy in my care. I keep trainer treats in my car, if we need to practice a few basic commands, as well as water and other care essentials. I have a back seat hammock/cover for the pet's safety when traveling (as needed). I also have a med to large dog kennel I can put in the way back of my SUV if that is preferred for safety and security.
