“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”
“A day before I was due to leave for a weekend trip to NY I found myself still struggling to figure out arrangements for my 5-year-old chipoo, Dixie. I've never left her overnight with anyone before - only for a few hours here and there with family members. Dixie and I both suffer from separation anxiety (from one another haha) and I began searching online not thinking that I would ever find someone good enough to watch my little girl. When I came across Anita and Kirk, I knew instantly that they shared the same love for dogs as I. Dixie and I went to visit and check things out early the next morning and what amazed me most about Kirk and Anita was their attention and dedication to each animal and their specific needs. My specific need was that my little girl would be able to sleep in bed just as she does at home. Whatever your dog is used to at home, they will replicate it! From the pictures and videos that I received for the two days that I was away, I was able to tell that my baby was being spoiled on the Furry Farm just as much as she is at home. They made sure Dixie was comfortable and they reassured me that she was safe and well taken care of. They are definitely one of a kind and I doubt that I'd ever be able to find that level of treatment, care, attention, and affection with anyone else. I would recommend them over and over again and will certainly be using their services again when needed. I could tell that Dixie was enjoying her stay from the smiles in her pictures and I think that it was a growing experience for both of us and our separation anxiety! Thank you Kirk and Anita!”

About: I have been a pet appreciation magnet as long as I can remember. Even when I am not aiming for the attention, the pets gravitate my way, and i have scritches and belly rubs for them all. I have a rescue of my own for 6+ years now, bichon/poodle mix. Though he had a traumatic start before me, he has adjusted well and is a cuddle bug, and getting better with his socialization with new doggos. I have been a dog sitter for friends over the last 8+ years, when they go on trips. I have experience in minor training, like sit/stay/leash leading, for a few breeds up to 50-70 lbs (no certificates, just repitition and patience). Positive recognition of good behavior and moderate activity (to remedy the bad behavior) when you need me are what I hope to share with your furry family members. I am currently working part-time, so i can set up a schedule of regular pet attention care during part day time hours. Currently I have weekends free if weekend care is requested, though this may change if requests are light. I am working on my house to be able to provide overnight care in the future, making it care friendly for additional furry friends. I have a fenced in, good size yard, and a medium size fur baby of my own to greet stay over friends, though my house needs a little more time for prep before we are ready. I am happy to do drop-ins and day or eve walks at your home, and follow any/all your rules. I respect your needs and want to make sure your fur baby is safe and happy in my care. I keep trainer treats in my car, if we need to practice a few basic commands, as well as water and other care essentials. I also live in a relatively small neighborhood (2x3) blocks that's perfect for going on walks with the pups! I will take really good care of your family member as I would my own. My husband and I have owned dogs out entire life and since we don't have children, our dogs are a willing substitute, we will both be caring for your loved one while they stay with us. The rest of that time I enjoy doing crafts, playing with the dogs outside and inside, playing pool and making a new snuggle buddy. I have dealt with the escape artist routine and don't want to pose that risk to your pet. We have a backyard with a fence and will remain on a leash no matter what. I just don't feel comfortable trusting them without it. I have a "TWO DOOR POLICY", which just means that if any exterior doors are opened, your pet will either be leashed to go outside before or will be placed in a bedroom behind another door before the exterior door can be opened. Absolutely no chance for an escape artist!

I miss having a dog (but not so ready to adopt one of my own) so hoping to help out those in the neighborhood who need an extra hand with their furry friend for the day, night or weekend. I have tons of love and experience to give!! I work from home freelancing part-time so have a lot of time and energy to dedicate to your pup! Walks, boarding, companionship, anything they need! I don’t have any pets in my home, so no worries about your fella getting along with anyone else. I have a great fenced in yard out back of my townhouse.
About: I’ve taken care of all dog sizes over the past 2/3 years. I am capable of taking care of a puppy throughout the day, and senior dogs for extra care. I am comfortable with bigger dogs, and any breeds. I’m currently working just a few days a week max. I am free a lot of my time and will be doing college online this upcoming semester so I will continue to be free for the upcoming months. I can let your dogs out a couple times a day as needed, and willing to stay overnights as needed. I am active playful loving and give all my attention to the dogs. Provide walks, fetch, and fresh water. extra attention, walks and love for puppy’s and senior dogs.

“Lisa was wonderful with Theo my cat. He responded very well to her gentle, soft spoken, and kind manner. He often slept with her and would make bread while sitting on her lap. She has plenty of space for him to run and play. The thing I'm most grateful for is the fact she doesn't have carpeting. One very unique and creative thing she did was using a small canvas she'd take the colors from his coat and applied them to the canvas and put the canvas in a zip lock bag. Than using Theo's paws would let him create a special piece of artwork. Which she gave to me when I picked him up. She is truly Amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to leave my fur babies with her again.”
“Kate was absolutely amazing with our pup, Swift! After having our normal boarding facility cancel on us due to overbooking before a vacation, I quickly visited rover to see if I could find a suitable match for Swift. Kate responded in about 10 minutes and accepted the booking, a true life saver! Swift loved his time at Kate’s beautiful home. He has been pooped since you pickup and I know he truly got the attention and exercise that he needs. Kate sent tons of pictures which really eased my mind while I was on vacation.
