Their property is perfect with huge fenced in enclosures with lots of fun areas for the dogs to explore. They sent daily photos and updates and were willing to work around our schedule. “Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I’ve had extremely large pets and the daintiest little animals. I am always the person at parties petting whatever animal I can get my hands on. Friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets for a long time and I am always happy to do so. Feeding, walking, play time, and enrichment are all things I love to do and do regularly with my dog. My schedule is pretty open except for the occasional doctors appointment and caring for my dad. I tend to be able to work around any conflicts to help better serve others. I treat all pets as if they’re my own. Safe walks, making sure the ground isn’t too hot, hydration, and some kind of stimulation makes a happy pup. If it is too hot for walking, and depending on what you’re comfortable with, either a walk indoors at a dog friendly store or enrichment in the home, or just playtime on grass can be offered.

“Kirk was incredible to work with. I had asked him many questions and he got back to me quickly with answers. I have been struggling finding the perfect place to take my fur babies when I work long hours or am away for a night occasionally. He was flexible with the hours I needed for drop off and pick up. As soon as my dogs got there they were venturing around the enclosed fence area and seemed very happy. My maltipoo has separation anxiety and you wouldn’t have known it when I dropped her off to Kirk. My boxer is a puppy and Kirk was willing to take on having a high energy puppy for a long duration of time. I can’t say enough good things about Kirk for this being only my first time taking my dogs to him and his wife. I will be booking again immediately and have every intention of using Kirk and Anita for any needs I have in the future regarding doggy day care and/or overnight stays.”

I have a rescue of my own for 6+ years now, bichon/poodle mix. Though he had a traumatic start before me, he has adjusted well and is a cuddle bug, and getting better with his socialization with new doggos. I have been a dog sitter for friends over the last 8+ years, when they go on trips. I have experience in minor training, like sit/stay/leash leading, for a few breeds up to 50-70 lbs (no certificates, just repitition and patience). Positive recognition of good behavior and moderate activity (to remedy the bad behavior) when you need me are what I hope to share with your furry family members. I am currently working part-time, so i can set up a schedule of regular pet attention care during part day time hours. Currently I have weekends free if weekend care is requested, though this may change if requests are light. I am working on my house to be able to provide overnight care in the future, making it care friendly for additional furry friends. I have a "TWO DOOR POLICY", which just means that if any exterior doors are opened, your pet will either be leashed to go outside before or will be placed in a bedroom behind another door before the exterior door can be opened. About: I’ve loved and catered to animals from every stage and walk of life. From babies to seniors to rescues trying to find their way in a new home. Good with energetic pets to couch potatoes as well as fearful/anxious pets. Full availability at the moment so that just means more time to connect with your pet! I’m available for anything from early morning walks to late night pet sitting. I am more than willing to follow any specific instructions provided by you the owner to ensure that your furry friend is as comfortable as possible.
About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals dogs,cats,chickens,rabbits,pigs,etc. Since I was 6. I dog sit all the time. I love spending time with animals. I currently am attending college on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am going for nursing but my true passion was to always be a vet. Getting into vet school is impossible. So I took this route so I can still spend as much time as possible with animals. It’s my true calling! I will stay at your house to make your pup as comfortable as possible! Will have tons of exercise and love! Your dog won’t even know your gone! I also have lots of experience with other pets ranging from lizards- to farm animals!

About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life. In addition to having my own dog, I have been entrusted with walking dogs from my home neighborhood and occasionally sitting. I have experience with puppies and kittens, elder animals, and dogs of all shapes and sizes! Your pet will have lots of fun and will be photographed heavily if left in my care. I love animals and can’t wait to meet yours! 🐾 Other than cats and dogs, I’d be willing to learn any other pet care. I have some experience with fish but am open to friends of all species. Currently on summer break, so I’m available all day for all the pet potty breaks or visits that are needed of me throughout our time together. Responsibility is a very integral aspect of my sitting process. I am hyper vigilant with the safety of pets, so your fur baby will come first and remain in their familiar enviroment!
About: I’m currently working as a CSR at cape vet hospital! I’ve grown up my whole life around dogs! I have my own and love them so much! I’m active and really good with pets, I’ve work in trusted environments before including child care! I’m currently working some hours at Cape vet hospital but on my time off I’ll be more than happy to come meet some pups! I’m completely free on Sundays! I live with four pets one being my own! About: I am a trained Pet Care Specialist, I am trained and certified to perform cat and dog CPR and First Aid. I will take great care of your loved one! Communication is very important to me. I have loved animals my whole life, my family has cared for many different pets as we were growing up. I am an animal rescuer, my dog Lucy has been with me for 6 years now. She is very sweet toward other animals and has learned to listen very well, we are training to become a service dog. One of the most exotic animals my family and I have rescued was an owl. I also have a cat named Moomoo who is also very sweet and is 6 years old now. I have plenty of time to play with your pups! Starting off my business here on Rover. About: I have two loving dogs at home, and I always catch my self taking care of my dogs, or a neighbors or friends. There’s no animal that doesn’t like me and I treat them just as kids. I work in the morning time so I have all day and night to play with your dogs and they have friends here too so they don’t get lonely I have a huge backyard and a park around the corner I can take them too. Or they can go on nice long walks around the whole block as a group.

About: I have taken care of pets my entire life. I’ve had dogs, cats and fish. I’ve cared for lizards and small furry friends as well. I will always stop to pet a dog and I’ve had animals come up to me out in the wild on multiple occasions. Although I currently do not have a pet, I love sitting for my friends. I’ve cared for all size and age of dog from a few months to 16 years. I believe pets are family and should be treated as such. Im currently off for the summer but teaching summer school for the month of July. My schedule is pretty open and much if what I do have scheduled is flexible. Although I live in an apartment, my complex is extremely pet friendly with 4 dog parks and a full walking loop with poop bags around the entire property.
