I previously worked in a vet office, so giving medication is not a hassle. Dogs can do as they please while supervised. Working in a vet office has provided knowledge of basic cpr, how to help/ prevent a choking incident and how to orally give medication as well as administering vaccines and or insulin. About: For as long as I can remember, dogs have been one of the greatest joys in my life. I have been an avid dog lover my entire life and have been fortunate to raise and adopt several wonderful dogs throughout my journey. Every dog I’ve had has taught me something special, and I truly believe our pets are cherished members of the family. My life has taken me from the beautiful Pacific Northwest to spending 20 years in the California desert, and now I’m excited to call the Toms River, New Jersey area home. One of my favorite things about living here is enjoying the incredible wildlife and beautiful scenery on long walks. I currently share my home with two senior rescue dogs who absolutely love their daily walks. Caring for senior dogs has given me experience with patience, gentle handling, and understanding that every dog has unique needs, routines, and personalities. Whether your pet needs a dependable sitter while you’re away, plenty of cuddles and companionship, or an enjoyable walk filled with fresh air and new sights, I’ll care for them with the same love, attention, and respect that I give my own dogs. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy—and to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member and look forward to making lots of new four-legged friends here in the Toms River community! I work remotely and can tailor my schedule around other commitments easily. It is not a problem for me to leave my work for a few hours to tend to a pets needs. I am highly responsible and will watch over your fur baby as I watch over my own. I have never had a lost pet or had a pet escape my presence. I have completed dog training courses and know how to responsibly handle a pet.

I also have experience with horses, birds and pigs I can also bring your pet to the groomer or vet if well behaved in the car. She always keeps in contact and updates me exactly on how the walks with Bella go! She lets me know about other dogs and Bella’s reactions when on a leash (very helpful as I just adopted her). She is so clearly a dog person. She makes sure Bella has clean water and is even kind enough to bring in a package for me if it is on my porch. Even rewards Bella with treats.
