About: I have been pet-sitting for my neighbors, boss, and co-workers since 2010. While I occasionally board pets in my home, I usually provide pet/house-sitting in the customer's home. I walk/feed/brush dogs, administer oral medication if indicated, and spend time playing with them. I also take in mail, water plants, and take out trash/recycling. I am a newly retired teacher, now only working part time. I am available for your pet care needs early morning, early afternoon, & evenings. If I am providing care in my home, I can offer to take dogs for a walk in a nearby state park. I try to keep the pets' feeding and walking schedules consistent with that of the owners.

About: I've owned and cared for dogs since I was three years old. I've always loved them! I've worked at a dog boarding kennel for over a year now and I love it! Before that, I worked at a farm with lots of different animals and I've watched/walked dogs on the side for a long time now. I also have experience with cats as well! I'd love to meet your four-legged friends and family! I work part-time at a dog boarding kennel and my hours are different sometimes. I'm either working 7am - 12:30pm OR 3pm - 7pm. I usually work the afternoon shift (3 - 7). Since I have worked with animals a lot, especially dogs, I definitely consider myself pretty educated. My husband and I have a very active goldendoodle, Bell, who is 9 years old. Neither of us remember a time when there wasn't a dog in the house growing up! We are pros when it comes to high-energy dogs with a mind of their own! I am a full-time parent of three and we have a dog of our own whom we are home with all day. I will care for them just like they were my own pet. Being a dog owner myself, I understand how much they mean to their families. In case of an emergency at home or work, I will provide the necessary care for your dogs. I have a unique bond with every dog I meet and truly enjoy their company, ensuring they receive plenty of affection. In the past, I have cared for my family's dogs, feeding and walking them nearly every day. I am knowledgeable about how to handle dogs safely. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to dog-sit and walk the dogs entrusted to my care. Pet caring is one of my passion because they bring so much joy to our lives. With this being said after work I do appreciate the love my fur babies give me. I love to play and run with fur babies and I also get my weekly exercise in! I have a yard that they can run freely in. They will have access to my balcony for when they need cooling and some quiet.
“Katie provided wonderful care for our dog at her residence while we were away. She took the time to get to know myself and my dog prior to her stay. It was our lab's first time boarding and Katie sent updates regularly throughout the day which helped ease the transition. “My 2 year old Standard Poodle Darla had another wonderful stay with Debra and Vic as I knew she would. We left our dog for 10 days and she had a lot of fun and exercise. Debra sent photos,videos and messages throughout our vacation so we could see how well cared for Darla was. We have been using Debra since Darla was a puppy and love everything about our experience with her. She has a huge fenced in backyard, which is a top priority for us, since Darla has a lot of energy and needs to run around throughout the day. I would highly recommend Debra and Vic for all your dog sitting needs!”
