I love my own cats, but also cats so much in general because they all are so unique and with their own personality (so much that I can get past cleaning litterboxes every day... ). About: Cats have a very special place in my heart, and I know that each cat has their own personality and needs. I’ve fostered 8 cats, caring for all personalities, ages, and needs, from kittens under 8 weeks old to senior cats. I’ve worked with cats that need medication, were overweight or underweight, required special diets, were scared and under socialized, or just needed extra patience and time to adjust to new people and a new environments. I’ve had lots of experience with cats who scratch or bite out of fear, so I have no problem taking the time to earn their trust at their own pace. I also have two cats of my own, and they were both very shy and nervous at first. After taking the time to build their confidence, they have become the most cuddly and trusting cats. I’m also the trusted sitter for many of my friends and family, so I’m comfortable looking after cats that have different routines and care needs. About: I’ve always had multiple pets my whole life from a young age, learned responsibilities by feeding, grooming, walking, entertaining, training and medically providing for all my pets and any animal in my care. I have experience working in multiple vet clinics throughout my childhood as I was a pre-vet major up until junior year of college so I have a lot of experience with all kinds of animals and medical knowledge as well. I now have my own dog, Appa, who is 2 that I raised from a puppy and am currently self training. I am currently a phd grad student at vanderbilt university so I have morning classes and lab work, but I live right down the road from campus (less than 5 min drive) and I always come home immediately after my classes/work to be home with Appa. I have an apt with room for some zoomies and room to play with toys, I have a balcony if they like being outside and my buidling also has a small dog park on the roof with 2 fenced circular yards lined with turf so they can run around at a mini park as much as they want!

About: Hi! I’m Aster, I’m a college student, and I’ve loved pets since I was still learning how to walk! Since I was little I’ve lived with and cared for five different dogs, one of which I personally trained since he was a puppy, and two rescues that needed some more TLC than your average pet. I’ve walked and pet-sat for various friends and neighbors since I was five—for dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs and birds! I’ve volunteered at farms and worked with a variety of farm animals as well. I’ve cared for a rescue cat of my own since she was about a year old, and also have some experience pet sitting for others’ cats. Any pet I take care of I always treat like they’re my own furbaby! “Rob was really great boarding our golden retriever, Archie. You can tell Rob takes pride in being on Rover and being a good caregiver to pets. He took many pics for us, was responsive and even made sure that Archie was comfortable during a few big storms. Went the extra mile and even got extra bones etc. for him.”

“Chandar and his family are like a second home and family to Ruth. They truly love dogs and care for Ruth as if she’s their own (she’s already had 3 stays with them). And Ruth loves them, too!! They are so good to her and spoil her with belly rubs and miles-long sunrise and sunset walks. Chandar sends professional grade photos of Ruth with beautiful, artistic, and often charming backdrops (e.g., a hot air balloon, Princeton campus, dog zodiac statute). Chandar’s family is so welcoming, warm, and kind and it’s always a pleasure to see them when we drop off or pick up Ruth. They have also been incredibly accommodating, welcoming Ruth on short notice or letting her stay late. So happy that we met them!”
“Ryan did a great job with Spenser. Daily outings, regular updates, and plenty of photos, we always knew our dog was in good hands. “Heather is an excellent pet sitter! Our little senior dog, Miki, stayed with her for a week while we were on vacation. Heather responded to all messages very promptly and is a great communicator. She followed all instructions to the letter and kept us updated on how our little boy was doing. At one point, Miki seemed to be feeling under the weather. Heather calmly shared her concerns and we were able to talk through a solution together. When we picked Miki up, he was happy and comfortable in Heather’s home. I would recommend Heather without hesitation!”

She sent tons of pictures and axel genuinely looked so happy to be there. He loved running in her big back yard and going on nice walks with her everyday. She had tons of toys for him to play with as well. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be using her again! We are so glad we found her.”
