I previously owned a dog walking business called Mrs. C’s Dog Walking. Mrs. C’s was a small business that I owned for approximately 3 years and I loved it. I also dog-sat during college. While the owner was away on business trips, I would stop by multiple times a day to let her 2 dogs out, feed them and play. I’ve watched them grow since they were 3mo. old and have experienced caring for post-op injury (double knee reconstruction) on one, and a mast cell tumor removal/chemotherapy/radiation treatment on the other. This has required taking care of bandage changes, feedings, bathroom breaks with a sling, many cuddles, etc. I have since added 4 additional dogs to my care along with 1 feline friend! *Please Note: 20% of earnings is taken by Rover - prices have been slightly increased to accommodate for this and increased expenses. About: We offer loving and compassionate dog boarding or drop-ins and cat drop-ins. Dog boarding is at our home with a large, fenced-in yard and plenty of room to play and roam around. We never take more than one dog guest at a time and take extra special care of your pet while you are gone, including walks and cuddles. There is someone home for the majority of the day so your pup will never be alone for more than a couple of hours. We would like to keep our client dogs on the smaller size and as non-shedding as possible. Our fee of $35 is for small dogs under 25lbs. We will consider watching larger dogs between 25-35lbs if they are mellow due to our small children. There is an additional fee of $10.00 per day for dogs between 25-35lb. Pick up is before noon and drop-off is after 3pm. A $5.00 an hour charge is added for pick up after 12 noon or drop off before 3pm, with at most an additional fee of $25.00 a day. If you and your pup are looking for a great family to spend some time with, we would love to meet you and your dog! About this sitter: If your dog feels most comfortable staying at his own home, we'll come visit, walk, and play with your beloved pooch while you're away!! I have spent the majority of that time working at a small animal practice, but also worked at an emergency and specialty practice for 4 years during that time as well. During my career, I have dealt with numerous c-sections, geriatric, diabetic, and renal patients. Meaning that, injections, SQ fluid, oral meds, etc, are not a problem.. I have also done pet sitting on the side for many years during this time as well. I have always had a love for animals. I currently own a 9 year old mixed breed dog, as well as a cat, and chinchilla. We will consider watching larger dogs between 25-35lbs if they are mellow due to our small children. There is an additional fee of $10.00 per day for dogs between 25-35lb. Pick up is before noon and drop-off is after 3pm. A $5.00 an hour charge is added for pick up after 12 noon or drop off before 3pm, with at most an additional fee of $25.00 a day.
