I was especially worried about our dogs as we've taken them with us whenever we've gone on a trip and they wouldn't be able to go with us this time. I found Marleny and Luis as a first time Rover user and was relieved that they were able to care for our two dogs while away. We had a meet and greet, and a few day visits leading up to the trip and all went well. The dogs were with them for 8 days and my heart was at peace knowing they were being cared for in their home. My Pomsky who I've had since he was 3 1/2 months old, is especially fond of dog parks, so we frequently visit, he's a dog lover and very sociable. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and was always a person that friends and family could count on to help if they needed a dog sitter. I know how to give proper care to dogs of any kind and I am a person that will always make sure they are loved and respected. I currently have completely open availability 7 days a week. I can do morning and evening walks/drop-in visits with your dogs. I do not offer overnight care in your homes, but I do offer in mine. I do offer care in my home varying between daily drop offs or overnight for vacations/any other reasons. I have a large yard that they can run around in and play in. I also have a 7 year old female boston terrier, so they must be good with other dogs. About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals since I can remember. I grew up with birds, cats, dogs, hamsters, bunnies, ferrets and fish. Though my absolute favorite are dogs! I would love to take your dog on walks, feed and water them and give them baths if needed. She took me outside plenty of times to get fresh air and to feel more relaxed in these new surroundings. She made me sit for treats and always praised me when I did. Her treats were great and I had frozen peanut butter for the first time! Yum!! I got along well with Kim's two fur babies, but I was probably a little too energetic for them. Kim sent lots of cute pictures and sweet informative text messages to my Mom and Dad. Kim has taken lots of courses on how to understand doggy psychology and behavior, and she is very good at teaching us new things. About: I've had a strong love for animals since I was a kid and always grew up with a pet. While that's a common backstory, I wanted mine to result in becoming a veterinarian. Now that may not have happened (I changed my mind in college), but my love and desire to be around them has never changed. I've owned birds, hamsters, turtles, cats, dogs and fish. From my childhood dog Bruno who died a few years ago, to my late grandma's dog Jabar (who I drove across the country to get when she died) to my current babies; Brick (rescued from the streets) and Plato (my turtle rescued from an unethical vendor). Here we are now, one big, happy multi-species family! I work from home while my partner goes into an office. This is how I can care for my boy Brick and my other house doggie Jabar (his mommy goes to work so I take care of him during the day too). I can give your baby a huge portion of my attention a day, because Brick is a puppy I always watch him like a hawk. Brick gets up around 4:30 am with his dad so he can get breakfast and go out. But I don't wake up until around 7:30 am so that's when Brick comes back out. We go outside and I let him run around like crazy for about 30-45 mins and then I keep him in the living room with me while I start work. Because he's a puppy, every two hours we outside to the background and he gets lunch around 2 pm. He gets about 2 hours out to play and be with Jabar, and in the cage for an hour. That's on routine throughout the day but when Dad gets home around 6 he's out for the rest of the day until bed. Jabar is older and more independent so he plays, roams the house, eats and drinks throughout the day when he wants and goes outside with me and Brick.

About: I have four huge dogs and three cats and I am the primary caregiver for all of them. This includes, walking, playing, cleaning droppings, changing litter boxes, watching them overnight. I have open availability all throughout the week at any time usually. Just let me know when you’d need me and I can let you know if I’m available that day, I have a cozy home with plenty of spots to rest, fenced yard and crate if requested. They’ll always provided with playtime and bathroom breaks. They’ll get personalized care depending on their breed.

My main priority is keeping a constant eye on your pet and sticking as close to their normal routine as possible. Whether I'm staying at your place or visiting, your pet won't be left alone for long stretches, which really helps prevent separation anxiety. While I'm in a client's home, I will treat it with total respect and keep everything secure. I will make sure that all doors and gates are locked securely every time I leave your home, and I always keep dogs on a leash during walks. Because I have experience with everything from energetic dogs and cats to smaller pets like guinea pigs, I’m very aware of safety and choking hazards, like making sure small items or dangerous foods are out of reach.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats around my whole life and knew from a very young age that i was meant to be apart of changing an animals life in a positive and proactive way. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I am also a veterinary technician! so pet care is apart of my everyday routine.
