“I adopted my dog Nomi at the end of 2025 and knew I had a lot of rehabilitation ahead of us since she is highly fearful and skittish. Nomi came from a hoarding house in Puerto Rico where 100 animals were removed from the property. I learned about Carly during a search on Rover and was pleasantly surprised when I discovered we both love mixed breed dogs from PR. Today was the first day since Nomi's adoption that she stayed with anyone other than myself. About: I’ve been taking care of my special-needs pup, Dottie, for 8 years. She’s on a strict diet and takes meds too, so I’m good with following precise instructions. I have a loving and serene home where Dottie and I can welcome your pup. I work from home on Fridays, so I am available for boarding for long weekends. We could coordinate a Thursday evening drop-off if need be. On the weekends, I go to a pilates class and run errands, but am otherwise around as company for the dogs. My yard is only partially fenced, so I will be taking the dogs on leashed walks. Dottie sleeps in bed with me, so it’s okay if your pup needs to as well. If your dog is crate-trained, that is okay too.

About: My family had many pets growing up so I have been around animals all my life. Over the past few years, I have cared for many animals with different personalities and different needs. I have experience administering pills and injecting insulin for cats. I also have experience crate training and potty training dogs. “Max’s stay went great ! Lauren was nice enough to watch him thanksgiving eve- thanksgiving day. We travel to Long Island for the holiday and we can’t bring max along. We were able to enjoy the holiday knowing he was enjoying his time with Lauren! She sent text updates and pictures while he was with her. Highly recommend ! We will be calling Lauren for all our future dog sitting needs.”

“Sam is truly was an angel on earth when we left our mini golden doodle Veer with her for 4 days. She was so loving and took care of Veer like her own. She asked questions, which eased our tensions, and sent us daily pictures of Veer doing a new kind of activity. Her daughter is so adorable and lovely and played with veer so well as well. We couldn’t have found a better person to take care of Veer and we will DEFINITELY be rebooking sam in the future. If I could give her 100 stars, even that would not be enough! <3”

I was amazed when Kimberly was sending photos of them on the couch together and Franklin getting belly rubs a day into his stay during a nor’easter.
