People like to assume that cats are aloof but they just have their own time and space. I like to give all pets their own time and space and understand their needs individually. When I came back to NJ I went to Cape May and worked as a full time seasonal animal keeper. After my 6 months were up I went back to Turtleback zoo as a Relief Keeper. I left the zoo field December 2021 and started working part time at a local vet clinic where I work with all size dogs and cats. About: My husband and I have lived in Lake Mohawk for 11 years. We have 4 wonderful children, all of which love animals. In addition to our children, we have a wonderfully trained male Shi-a-Poo named Toby. He is going on 13 years old. We have raised him since a puppy. Toby also loves to play with other dogs, however he's getting pretty lazy in his old doggie days. He enjoys laying and cuddling most of the day. Our children, on the other hand, love running around, playing fetch and taking Toby for walks...Toby would love to share the wealth! We live on a quiet street in a great neighborhood located in Lake Mohawk. We have a fenced in back yard where your dog can run around and play as much or as little as he/she wants! We will provide the best care for your best friend when you are not able, with lots of love and attention. Both my husband and I grew up with dogs, and when I was a teenager, I raised a dog for the Seeing Eye. I am a stay-at-home mom. There is someone home for the majority of the day so your pup will never be alone for more than a couple of hours. We would like to keep our client dogs on the smaller size and as non-shedding as possible. Our fee of $35 is for small dogs under 25lbs. We will consider watching larger dogs between 25-35lbs if they are mellow due to our small children. There is an additional fee of $10.00 per day for dogs between 25-35lb. Pick up is before noon and drop-off is after 3pm. A $5.00 an hour charge is added for pick up after 12 noon or drop off before 3pm, with at most an additional fee of $25.00 a day. If you and your pup are looking for a great family to spend some time with, we would love to meet you and your dog! About this sitter: If your dog feels most comfortable staying at his own home, we'll come visit, walk, and play with your beloved pooch while you're away!! Leave us the leash, and we'll take your dog on 20 - 30 minute walk. Our rates start at 25.00 per night with one 20-30 minute walk a day. About: We offer loving and compassionate dog boarding or drop-ins and cat drop-ins. Dog boarding is at our home with a large, fenced-in yard and plenty of room to play and roam around. We never take more than one dog guest at a time and take extra special care of your pet while you are gone, including walks and cuddles. About: I have experience working in both a veterinary clinic and a boarding facility, where I cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Through these roles I cared for pets with a wide range of personalities, ages, and needs while learning how to recognize signs of stress, illness, and discomfort. I am comfortable caring for puppies, adults, and seniors and I understand the importance of maintaining routines to help pets feel safe and comfortable. As a veterinary assistant, I also have experience handling animals using fear free techniques and compassion, giving owners peace of mind that their fur babies are in capable hands. About: Experienced pet sitter and animal lover. I've worked in animal rescue, done trap-neuter-release, cared for a colony of feral cats for a decade, and fostered more kittens and adult cats than I can count. I offer visits, walks, overnight stays, or I can live at your house while you are away. I am a nature and wildlife photographer so I have gotten to know, to one degree or the other, all of the animals around my home, which, I believe, helps to make me comfortable with all types of pets. I also offer pet portraits! I have experience with all of the usual pets, plus a few unusual ones too. I will take good care of your dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, small animals and even tarantulas or insects. I will treat your pets as if they were my own and I will let you know how the visits are going. Your pets will be safe and well cared for with me. I have a regular part time job with a flexible schedule so can be available just about anytime. Let me know what you need and we can work it out. Home visits run about a 1/2 an hour and include, depending upon your pet, a walk, poop scoop, litter box cleaning, feeding, watering and treat dispensing, and pats and cuddles.
About: Hello animal lovers! My name is Jonathan and I'm 33 years old. Being in the army for 13 years has given me attention to detail and discipline. I absolutely love being around dogs and seeing them roam around, play and be happy. I take great pleasure in caring for them. On our walks we go around the neighborhood, play in the back yard and give them plenty of scratchies. My dog is family and so as yours. Any dog that steps paw into my home is family as well. So, feel at ease and know that your best bud is being cared for with love! I have a natural love for all animals and creating that special bond with them. I have about 17 years of caring experience with mostly dogs and 1.5 yrs with cats. All different breeds in order from Dalmatian, rescue dogs, Miniature Schnauzer and now currently my English Bull Terrier. I reassure you that your family member will be treated like a baby with love, care and safety. While your dog is with me I will attempt to teach your dog tricks; sit, stay, shake paw and stay(hold) till food is given upon your request (Treats must be provided). My stay home wife and I rotate between our schedules to give the best care possible for all the furr babies that step into our home. I have a fenced yard with one friendly dog. I have plenty of space if you prefer to bring a crate. If you have any concern from your dog being an escape artist. I have a LED light color that glows to see the dog easier. As well a GPS collar for any extra measurements that would have to be taken.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life! I’ve been hired to care for both dogs and cats and I’ve administered medication to both as well. I will make sure your pet is having fun and is getting the best care I can give. I love all animals and cannot wait to meet your fluffy family member! I’m currently in school and because of the downtime when not studying, while I am home I have the perfect schedule for caring for your pets needs. My dog chewy is fed in the morning and afternoon, in the afternoon he also takes a stomach pill. He has at least 4 walks ( or at least outdoor playtime) in a day and goes on a run in the morning. Chewy needs a good cuddle after that and sleeps at the end of the bed.
