About: Although I don't have cats of my own, I have cat-sit my neighbors and friends cats on and off throughout my life. Totaling all of that into about 2 years of experience. About: I have over 25 years of experience watch dogs. The last two years I have been working with the See Eye Foundation as a Puppy Sitter. I sit for puppies 8 weeks to 13 years old, for a single day to over a week. I also have a 12 year-old English Fox Hound that likes to take me on walks/runs daily I am currently retired and this leave me plenty of time to take care of your dog. I am an avid runner and cyclist, so walking or even running with your dog is not a problem I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a 3-acre property where dogs can roam and run. I do have a 120 foot leash that lets the dogs run without fear of them running away. If your dog likes to play fetch or just do a lot of exploring, the yard is ideal for them. I am also available to do multiple daily check ins and walks if the dog prefers to stay at home.

About: I've had a strong love for animals since I was a kid and always grew up with a pet. While that's a common backstory, I wanted mine to result in becoming a veterinarian. Now that may not have happened (I changed my mind in college), but my love and desire to be around them has never changed. I've owned birds, hamsters, turtles, cats, dogs and fish. From my childhood dog Bruno who died a few years ago, to my late grandma's dog Jabar (who I drove across the country to get when she died) to my current babies; Brick (rescued from the streets) and Plato (my turtle rescued from an unethical vendor). Here we are now, one big, happy multi-species family! I work from home while my partner goes into an office. This is how I can care for my boy Brick and my other house doggie Jabar (his mommy goes to work so I take care of him during the day too). I can give your baby a huge portion of my attention a day, because Brick is a puppy I always watch him like a hawk. Brick gets up around 4:30 am with his dad so he can get breakfast and go out. But I don't wake up until around 7:30 am so that's when Brick comes back out. We go outside and I let him run around like crazy for about 30-45 mins and then I keep him in the living room with me while I start work. Because he's a puppy, every two hours we outside to the background and he gets lunch around 2 pm. He gets about 2 hours out to play and be with Jabar, and in the cage for an hour. That's on routine throughout the day but when Dad gets home around 6 he's out for the rest of the day until bed. Jabar is older and more independent so he plays, roams the house, eats and drinks throughout the day when he wants and goes outside with me and Brick.

About: I've taken care of various animals my whole life. I have watched and help train the pets of friends and family for many years. As a special needs dog mom, I understand the importance of quality care and would provide nothing but the best for your pet! I am a stay at home mom so my availability is fairly flexible for me to have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I don't have a fenced in yard but have a lot of property to walk and explore giving plenty of exercise! I can also travel to your home and spend time with your pet in the comfort of their own home. “For the first time in a long time, my family and I took a vacation out of the country. I was especially worried about our dogs as we've taken them with us whenever we've gone on a trip and they wouldn't be able to go with us this time. I found Marleny and Luis as a first time Rover user and was relieved that they were able to care for our two dogs while away. We had a meet and greet, and a few day visits leading up to the trip and all went well. The dogs were with them for 8 days and my heart was at peace knowing they were being cared for in their home. I sent rationed food, treats, beds and instructions for eye drops and daily supplements. Marleny did not hesitate and accommodated all my requests. About: I have been a dog owner since I was young and a dog mom for more than ten years! Play time, walks, going to the park, and snuggles, are a day to day necessity. Along with treats, dietary needs/supplements, and any special care your best friend might need. I am here to make your baby comfortable and happy in my care while you’re away. An attempt to distract them from missing you so much ☺️ I’m available on weekends and during weekday mornings until 11:00 AM, making me a great option for morning walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or weekend boarding. I make it a priority to give each pet my full attention, follow their usual routine, and ensure they receive plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection while in my care. Water, treats, exercise and comfort are always provided. The most important thing is that your baby is happy and attended to. Extra potty time, outdoor sniffs, strolls and adventures if they’re interested, lots of pets, cuddles and attention ☺️
