My family and I are assured that when we leave Kobe for an overnight with Noria that he is being cared for as if he is part of her family. Kobe can be an anxious dog and slow to warm up to people. She has a patient and playful disposition. From the first time he met her he was happy, calm and it was evident that he felt secure in her care. The medication and feeding instructions have always been followed and understood. We appreciate the photos she sends and the updates as to how he is doing. About: Cats have a very special place in my heart, and I know that each cat has their own personality and needs. I’ve fostered 8 cats, caring for all personalities, ages, and needs, from kittens under 8 weeks old to senior cats. I’ve worked with cats that need medication, were overweight or underweight, required special diets, were scared and under socialized, or just needed extra patience and time to adjust to new people and a new environments. I’ve had lots of experience with cats who scratch or bite out of fear, so I have no problem taking the time to earn their trust at their own pace. About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 10 and had 3 family cats growing up. I developed allergies to them as an adult, but that doesn’t always stop me from petting them. Usually the only reaction I get is puffy eyes and sneezing when I pet them, so taking care of food and cleaning litter boxes is no issue for me. About: Sorry due to rover taking a 20% fee now, I have to raise my prices. It was 10% before. I love animals, I’ve owned animals my whole life, I have two pet bunnies. (They live in my garage, not house, other animals don't have access) I also own a beagle, he’s 12 . He’s very friendly and loves other dogs, specially people, he's friendly with cats. I volunteer at animal shelters and I'm going for my vet technician degree. . I take my dog out in the morning for a walk, he gets many walks through out the day, I have a flexible job where I chose my own hours / schedule but during those hours I choose I'm on call and might have to leave, usually always have one other person home but if your dog cannot be left alone I can fix my work schedule to work with you. I will love your pet like my own until you come back home. If your pet is staying at my house, we have a big back yard that has a lead for your dog, also a nice quiet street I live on for walks. my dog will be around your pet so please also have a friendly pet. Besides that, daily feeding, daily pets&love, brushing, exercise, playtime. Your pets will get all of that.

About: I am an active individual and love the outdoors! If you have a pup who likes to run, I do not mind going for a jog. I have a small 9 year old Yorkie who loves other dogs and invites them happily into our home. My husband and I recently lost our senior dog who was almost 17. We have a lot of experience with providing senior dogs with a comfortable and extra loving home. I have puppy experience as well! We live on a beautiful property with 4 acres of land. While our yard is not fenced, we sit back from the road and I have taken my friend's dogs out on leash in our yard with no problems. It's a big yard with lots of exploring opportunities. I also enjoy going to the preserve in town to walk my dog and can happily do the same with yours. My husband and I take care of our Yorkie daily. In the summertime, I plan to have weekday availability as I am a teacher and will be on summer break. I have a beautiful piece of property that while not fenced, sits back from the road and is great for a good walk through the grass on leash. For high energy dogs I have taken them on neighborhood walks, hikes, or played toys with them. I always let the pet parent guide me on what their dog is up for. We have a senior dog gentleman of our own, so for dogs with a milder temperament I am happy to take them on short walks or can hang inside with them if that’s more their speed.
About: Hi! My name is Rosie and I have been caring for pets for friends, neighbors, and families for many years. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, overnight stays, and giving pets the attention and care they deserve while their owners are away. Outside of pet sitting, I have years of babysitting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Seton Hall University, and I am currently in nursing school. My background has taught me responsibility, patience, and attention to detail. I’m dependable, caring, and will treat your pets like they are my own. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you feel comfortable while away! I am currently available all summer with a very flexible schedule and would love to help care for your pets while you’re away on vacations, working long hours, or just need an extra helping hand. I am available for drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays, and I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine including feeding times, walks, playtime, medications, and plenty of love and attention. I will be starting nursing school again in September, so my availability may change slightly, but I will always communicate ahead of time and do my best to continue providing reliable, consistent care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and your home. I will always treat your pets like they are my own by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I am respectful of every owner’s home and will follow all instructions, routines, feeding schedules, and special requests to provide the best care possible.

“Melissa and Dan were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Princess Leia. She’s a small terrier and very much a COVID puppy, so she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs. I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. They truly love dogs, understand dog behavior, and provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment. I would not hesitate to book with them again.”
