“I have spent a lot time searching Rover trying to find the best place to send my 8 yr old vizsla, Tasha, while I travel and I am extremely happy that I chose Kirk & Anita. They were very responsive, so I was able to schedule a meet & greet right away. Their property/home is well maintained (gorgeous!) and very spacious. Kirk is excellent at letting you get acclimated to the property before introducing his own dogs to your pup. The entire meet & greet was extremely pleasant and you leave knowing that your dog will be in good hands. Tasha just spent 2 nights with Kirk & Anita and I received updates/pictures throughout her visit which was great since it was her first time staying overnight. I picked up a happy, great smelling (complimentary bath), exhausted pup (lots of play and walks) along with a surprise tote bag - complete with treats - to use when she goes back and forth from her visits there. It's the little things!! I’ve used a lot of sitters and dog daycares over the years and this experience was absolutely wonderful. Schedule a meet and greet – you won’t be disappointed!”

“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. She has plenty of space for him to run and play. The thing I'm most grateful for is the fact she doesn't have carpeting. One very unique and creative thing she did was using a small canvas she'd take the colors from his coat and applied them to the canvas and put the canvas in a zip lock bag. Than using Theo's paws would let him create a special piece of artwork. Which she gave to me when I picked him up. She is truly Amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to leave my fur babies with her again.”

About: I've raised dogs my entire life! Over the last 5 years, I've started house sitting for family friends for upwards of 3-4 weeks at a time, adding cats, bunnies, and birds to the rotation. Currently until the end of June, I will be working about 4 days a week as a substitute teacher. I'm usually out of the house by 6:30a and home around 3:15p. The property has a large fenced in yard for Franco to run around. He had a room with a door, window and mattress which he napped on. Kelly followed instructions and I felt at ease the time I was away from him. Recommend her highly for dog care, and is located near the shore area for vacationing parents. A+ and four ruffs from Franco.”

I also live in a relatively small neighborhood (2x3) blocks that's perfect for going on walks with the pups! I will take really good care of your family member as I would my own. My husband and I have owned dogs out entire life and since we don't have children, our dogs are a willing substitute, we will both be caring for your loved one while they stay with us. They will be welcome to the middle of the bed every night 🤣 Sometimes I am away, traveling cross country to introduce a family to their new puppy. The rest of that time I enjoy doing crafts, playing with the dogs outside and inside, playing pool and making a new snuggle buddy. I have dealt with the escape artist routine and don't want to pose that risk to your pet. We have a backyard with a fence and will remain on a leash no matter what. I just don't feel comfortable trusting them without it. I have a "TWO DOOR POLICY", which just means that if any exterior doors are opened, your pet will either be leashed to go outside before or will be placed in a bedroom behind another door before the exterior door can be opened. Absolutely no chance for an escape artist!

He also has his own crate, so I can give each pet individual time and attention and keep things calm when a guest needs space.
About: Growing up as a child, I have always been around and loved animals. My experience in pet care is from having different pets of my own and volunteering! Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I am a stay at home mom so I will have plenty of time to play and cuddle with your pup! About: I have always had a love for animals. Growing up, I always had pets, mostly dogs and cats but also rodents, snakes, and frogs. I have also volunteered for 2 animal shelters in the past and still actively volunteer at one with walking dogs. I am currently in school and working part time but somehow still have plenty of free time! Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. About: Loving and attentive family with a big fenced in yard and even bigger hearts. We have two rescues that we love and adore and can't wait to welcome your pet to our pack for a mini vacation while you play. Located in a wooded area and convenient to the AC expressway for easy drop off and pick up. Lots of trails behind our home for long shady walks. We are available for your dogs on Friday, after 5pm drop offs and can watch through the weekend with a pick up on Sunday, anytime before 5pm. Our pets are treated like family. We have lots of space, a large fenced in yard and plenty of room for the dogs to remain together or separated if need be.
