“Kirk and Anita are true animal lovers and treated our dog as one of their own. They make sure to learn your dog as to how it will be while with them. They let the dogs walk around their house and yard as if they lived there too. The have a great yard, very spacious (almost an acre?) They also can keep your dog separate if needed in another spacious area. It was nice to receive photos of our dog while she stayed with them. We would, and will be using them again in the future. We felt great after picking up Luna, our dog.”

“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”

About: I've raised dogs my entire life! Over the last 5 years, I've started house sitting for family friends for upwards of 3-4 weeks at a time, adding cats, bunnies, and birds to the rotation. Currently until the end of June, I will be working about 4 days a week as a substitute teacher. I'm usually out of the house by 6:30a and home around 3:15p. “Kirk was incredible to work with. I had asked him many questions and he got back to me quickly with answers. I have been struggling finding the perfect place to take my fur babies when I work long hours or am away for a night occasionally. He was flexible with the hours I needed for drop off and pick up. As soon as my dogs got there they were venturing around the enclosed fence area and seemed very happy. My maltipoo has separation anxiety and you wouldn’t have known it when I dropped her off to Kirk. My boxer is a puppy and Kirk was willing to take on having a high energy puppy for a long duration of time. I can’t say enough good things about Kirk for this being only my first time taking my dogs to him and his wife. I will be booking again immediately and have every intention of using Kirk and Anita for any needs I have in the future regarding doggy day care and/or overnight stays.”

On top of being an animal lover of all kinds my entire life, I have worked in pet stores, and Dog Kennels where I would distribute meds (oral and injection) as necessary and was a Dog Groomer for a family-owned shop for 15 years. We are lucky enough to have a very spacious fenced in yard where your babies can play and stay safe. Unfortunately, I am currently not taking any bigger breeds at the moment. This will not be a forever thing, it's just what works for our family right now. Thank you for understanding! Sadly, we lost our family dog not too long ago, but we have a hairless cat who is the most patient, lover girl you’d ever meet. Drop offs and pick-ups can be anywhere between 8am to 8pm. I have two small children, and I try to keep a nighttime routine. We can always make other arrangements; I am very easy to work with. If you would like your dog to be bathed right before picking up, we can arrange that as well! Dogs *MUST* be good with children and cats. I promise to love your animals and give them a happy & safe environment until you return! I cannot wait to meet you! I am currently a stay-at-home Mom! It will be easy to fit into your dog's schedule and cater to them as often as they need! I have huge 6ft privacy fenced in yard for play time and walks. I own a home on a medium sized lot,so your dog has somewhere to safely play. The backyard is fenced off while the front is not. I also live in a relatively small neighborhood (2x3) blocks that's perfect for going on walks with the pups! I will take really good care of your family member as I would my own. My husband and I have owned dogs out entire life and since we don't have children, our dogs are a willing substitute, we will both be caring for your loved one while they stay with us. The rest of that time I enjoy doing crafts, playing with the dogs outside and inside, playing pool and making a new snuggle buddy. I have dealt with the escape artist routine and don't want to pose that risk to your pet. We have a backyard with a fence and will remain on a leash no matter what. I just don't feel comfortable trusting them without it. I have a "TWO DOOR POLICY", which just means that if any exterior doors are opened, your pet will either be leashed to go outside before or will be placed in a bedroom behind another door before the exterior door can be opened. Absolutely no chance for an escape artist!

Walks on a routine schedule set by the client, feeding at set times, with several opportunities for play/enrichment as set by the client. I have no issues cleaning litter boxes or handling animal waste. Ensuring that your pets don't have any stressful scheduling changes is one of my top priorities.
