“I had been struggling with where to take my dog, Kara Eir, formerly of the Goblin Castle, Protector of Spinner's End, while I was on vacation for a few days in NJ. I contacted a few people, but kept coming back to the Furry Farm. I sent them an email, and Kirk immediately responded explaining how life on the farm works. I don't often leave my dog behind, and all of my nerves were calmed throughout several messages leading up to her stay. I got lots of photos and several videos during her vacation, and she received a bath on pickup day. I hope to book next year's vacation here as well! About: I do offer boarding at my farm. I only take up to 2 dogs at a time. We do a few walks everyday around the 8 acres. They get plenty of yard time. Every dog gets a specialized program with me and one Free training session. Does your animal need meds? No problem. If I can syringe a horse, I can handle a cat or dog (and have) I also LOVE cats. I have had a many cats in the last 28 years. House cats, barn cats, baby cats, old cats. I currently have 2 cats that were ring worm kittens from Paws. I finished up their treatment and adopted them. I can wrangle a barn cat that’s 1/2 feral to go to the vet or get it’s flea/tick meds. Don’t count me out if you have cats! They like me as much as I like them! I have taken care of pretty much any house pet from rats, to ferrets, parrots and snakes. I have had many tropical fish tanks too. Horses, cats and dogs are not my limits. As long as I’m not previously booked, I will be able to accommodate you. It never hurts to ask. I try to stay pretty close to home so I can fit in as many visits as possible but I do have great transportation. I keep safety in mind at all times. I am always aware when I’m walking a dog and will not let them mingle with other dogs or people. I always make sure water is fresh and plentiful. I am very cautious to avoid and loose animals. Your pets health and care are my career and my number one concerns.

On top of being an animal lover of all kinds my entire life, I have worked in pet stores, and Dog Kennels where I would distribute meds (oral and injection) as necessary and was a Dog Groomer for a family-owned shop for 15 years. We are lucky enough to have a very spacious fenced in yard where your babies can play and stay safe. Unfortunately, I am currently not taking any bigger breeds at the moment. This will not be a forever thing, it's just what works for our family right now. Thank you for understanding! Sadly, we lost our family dog not too long ago, but we have a hairless cat who is the most patient, lover girl you’d ever meet. Drop offs and pick-ups can be anywhere between 8am to 8pm. I have two small children, and I try to keep a nighttime routine. We can always make other arrangements; I am very easy to work with. If you would like your dog to be bathed right before picking up, we can arrange that as well! Dogs *MUST* be good with children and cats. I promise to love your animals and give them a happy & safe environment until you return! I cannot wait to meet you! I am currently a stay-at-home Mom! About: I have taken care of many kinds of animals since I was a child. Growing up I had 4 dogs and help taken care of 2 litters of puppies, and a diabetic dog. Besides dogs I have also taken care of exotic pets such as birds, snakes, horses and rabbit. I work remote and I have a very flexible work schedule. My personal schedule is not very busy, and I do not have any children. I have a fence in yard and I work remote. My dog is friendly with other dogs. Your best friend would not be alone. I will treat thhem like my own pet.

“My boys loved spending the week with Janet and Ken. We first had a great meet and greet so everyone could get comfortable with each other and the dogs could get used to their surroundings. That let them settle in easily when I dropped them off for the week. I was more than reassured by the photos and video updates that my boys were having a great time playing in the yard, relaxing in the family room, and cuddling up in evening. I was super nervous because he can get a little anxious and I didn't know how he would adjust to being away from home. We thought about it over some time and Alyssa and Marcus were able to accomodate our plans last minute. Before the reservation was even finalized, they were so helpful and reassuring. They kept me updated throughout his stay with so many pictures and reassurances. It really put my mind at ease. Sam had such a good time with Zara, Alyssa, and Marcus...I think he was upset he had to leave! I can't imagine sending him anywhere else. I definitely weill be booking with them again.”
