I was especially worried about our dogs as we've taken them with us whenever we've gone on a trip and they wouldn't be able to go with us this time. I found Marleny and Luis as a first time Rover user and was relieved that they were able to care for our two dogs while away. We had a meet and greet, and a few day visits leading up to the trip and all went well. The dogs were with them for 8 days and my heart was at peace knowing they were being cared for in their home. About: I’ve lived with at least one cat my entire life. Having experienced deep bonds with these fascinating creatures, I know how hard it is to leave them. It’s impossible to enjoy a vacation unless I know that when I’m gone, my furry companions are looked after and cared for. I’ve worked in animal shelters, watched pets for family, friends and neighbors, and rescued kitties from the streets. I have cared for older kitties who need extra care, anxious cats who do NOT like strangers, and bottle-fed kittens, so special needs clients are no problem. About: I've had a strong love for animals since I was a kid and always grew up with a pet. While that's a common backstory, I wanted mine to result in becoming a veterinarian. Now that may not have happened (I changed my mind in college), but my love and desire to be around them has never changed. I've owned birds, hamsters, turtles, cats, dogs and fish. From my childhood dog Bruno who died a few years ago, to my late grandma's dog Jabar (who I drove across the country to get when she died) to my current babies; Brick (rescued from the streets) and Plato (my turtle rescued from an unethical vendor). Here we are now, one big, happy multi-species family! I work from home while my partner goes into an office. This is how I can care for my boy Brick and my other house doggie Jabar (his mommy goes to work so I take care of him during the day too). I can give your baby a huge portion of my attention a day, because Brick is a puppy I always watch him like a hawk. Brick gets up around 4:30 am with his dad so he can get breakfast and go out. But I don't wake up until around 7:30 am so that's when Brick comes back out. We go outside and I let him run around like crazy for about 30-45 mins and then I keep him in the living room with me while I start work. Because he's a puppy, every two hours we outside to the background and he gets lunch around 2 pm. He gets about 2 hours out to play and be with Jabar, and in the cage for an hour. That's on routine throughout the day but when Dad gets home around 6 he's out for the rest of the day until bed. Jabar is older and more independent so he plays, roams the house, eats and drinks throughout the day when he wants and goes outside with me and Brick.

About: Hello! My name is Sarah and I have been a pet owner for my entire life, and I've always had a love for animals. Since launching my Rover business in 2022, I have boarded all different breeds of dog from dachshund to poodle, and cavalier spaniel to every color of lab. I have also boarded several cats and I've done house visits to cat sit. My dog clients don't have to worry about conflict with another dog because I only take one booking at a time. My cat clients will never have to worry about a dog being in the house at the same time I accept a cat booking. Taking one client at a time also enables me to provide top notch care, attention and lots of love (and playtime too!) I always allow dogs to eat their meals with the family in the kitchen and hang around the main part of the house. I also have a big yard I can let them run in, and a neighborhood for walks. For cat clients I have a setup in the finished basement (I call it the Kitty Club Room) with several litter boxes that I scoop daily and a couple of feeding areas. All of my furry friends are welcome to the main part of the house once they acclimate. Business hours: Pet Drop Off: 8am-2pm (any day) Pet Pick Up: 8am-6pm (any day) Thank you for considering me for your dog and cat sitting needs! I'm a stay at home mom (children are school aged and accustomed to animals), so I'm usually home, aside from running errands. I have plenty of time in my schedule to work in dog walks, playtime, scooping litter boxes feeding/kibble clean ups and attention. Large fenced yard with distance from neighbors - dogs are only allowed out on a leash or a long lead. Large finished basement for the cats plus open access (if they're feeling adventurous) to the rest of the house which is a 2800 square foot custom colonial.

“For the first time in a long time, my family and I took a vacation out of the country. I was especially worried about our dogs as we've taken them with us whenever we've gone on a trip and they wouldn't be able to go with us this time. I found Marleny and Luis as a first time Rover user and was relieved that they were able to care for our two dogs while away. We had a meet and greet, and a few day visits leading up to the trip and all went well. The dogs were with them for 8 days and my heart was at peace knowing they were being cared for in their home. I sent rationed food, treats, beds and instructions for eye drops and daily supplements. Marleny did not hesitate and accommodated all my requests. I'm very happy to have found a caring home and caretakers. We will be planning more vacations knowing we have a reliable and caring option for Ella and Diesel.”

My pup is a finicky eater and Jim kept me up to date on her feeding habits and asked permission to add tempting meat to her food to entice her. She loves to run at full speed, so his fenced property was ideal. Jim also communicated with me as well as provided plenty of photos during her stay and a video of her socializing at playtime. I currently own two toy yorkies, bunnies, birds and chickens. I would be delighted to walk, petsit, or board your cat and/or dog! I have plenty of time to give your pet(s) the playtime, outdoor fun, and affection they deserve! I am dedicated to making sure the animals are happy! I have a huge property of 5.5 acres and two small yorkies to keep your pet(s) company! I have a lot of space, so if your baby is anxious or doesn’t respond well to other doggies i can also separate them from each other. I can give them as many bathroom breaks as needed. I can also walk them around my backyard and around my neighborhood so they can stretch their paws 🐾
“Rob was really great boarding our golden retriever, Archie. You can tell Rob takes pride in being on Rover and being a good caregiver to pets. He took many pics for us, was responsive and even made sure that Archie was comfortable during a few big storms. Went the extra mile and even got extra bones etc. for him.”
“Chandar and his family are like a second home and family to Ruth. They truly love dogs and care for Ruth as if she’s their own (she’s already had 3 stays with them). And Ruth loves them, too!! They are so good to her and spoil her with belly rubs and miles-long sunrise and sunset walks. Chandar sends professional grade photos of Ruth with beautiful, artistic, and often charming backdrops (e.g., a hot air balloon, Princeton campus, dog zodiac statute). Chandar’s family is so welcoming, warm, and kind and it’s always a pleasure to see them when we drop off or pick up Ruth. They have also been incredibly accommodating, welcoming Ruth on short notice or letting her stay late. So happy that we met them!”
