We chose the boarding option, and Nimer had the best time at Joan's house, sleeping on her bed, playing in the cat tunnels, and climbing the cat trees. He also got along so well with her ferrets! About: I’ve lived with at least one cat my entire life. Having experienced deep bonds with these fascinating creatures, I know how hard it is to leave them. It’s impossible to enjoy a vacation unless I know that when I’m gone, my furry companions are looked after and cared for. I’ve worked in animal shelters, watched pets for family, friends and neighbors, and rescued kitties from the streets. I have cared for older kitties who need extra care, anxious cats who do NOT like strangers, and bottle-fed kittens, so special needs clients are no problem. I’m also a bit of a neat freak so litter box maintenance is a priority for me… and, of course, if your cats just need some company for a little while, hanging out with them would be a pleasure.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals since I can remember. I grew up with birds, cats, dogs, hamsters, bunnies, ferrets and fish. Though my absolute favorite are dogs! I would love to take your dog on walks, feed and water them and give them baths if needed. I am currently a stay at home mom with 3 kids and would be available that day as long as I'm not away somewhere far. I can play catch, take for walks, drive to a dog park, pets on the couch, or whatever you would like me to do to keep them happy.

About: I have lots of experience with dogs and absolutely love spending time with them — playing, teaching tricks, and taking them on walks. I grew up around dogs and have a real passion for it! I only take one dog at a time, so your pup gets my full attention and focus throughout the stay. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can walk your dog in the early morning, during lunch, and in the late afternoon/evening — basically as needed throughout the day. “Debbie sent pictures and all I saw were 2 small dogs who did not miss their human Mom. There was play time (smiles and action), down time (cuddling and relaxing). I was always under the impression they sat in a corner and missed me with all their tiny hearts, but no - Debbie had them going the whole time! One fell asleep on the drive home due to the days action, the other needed every minute of tthe days action! Her property is amazing! Gorgeous setting only maybe two or three miles from downtown Bernardsville. So much safe space to run and play in. Exploring is at the top of Louie's requirements and he had a whole acre of fenced in yard to get all his Terrier on! Thanks so much Debbie! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!”

About: I grew up caring for my family's black labs my entire life. I currently own two beautiful baby Shih Tzus, Tony & Guiness with my beautiful girlfriend. They add so much joy to our lives and are a big part of our growing family. I invest a lot of time and effort into training them daily, to build trust and give them the best lives possible. Taking care of the animals in my life is a passion of mine, and I treat every pet like it's my own. I'm currently making pet care my full time job. After years of training athletes, I'm opting for a career that is rewarding in different ways. I'm available any time Monday through and occasionally a weekend if I'm around and if it's a good fit. My apartment complex has many areas to walk outside, with sidewalks and open grass areas where I walk my boys. There is also a spacious indoor dog park in the basement of my complex where I take them to play, especially on rainy days. We do training both indoors and on walks outside, individually and as a family. I also expose my dogs to as many experiences as possible, bringing them to community events, outdoor dining, and social gatherings. Our family does not believe in leaving pets home alone all day every day, and want to give them as much stimulation and social interaction as possible.

I treat my furbaby like family and plan to do the same for yours. I am a full-time nurse (3 days a week) but plan to spend my four days off helping others with their pet's needs.
