About: I have had a dog since I was a kid. When I got married , we adopted our first dog Sonny from a rescue. Shortly after that we took one of the puppies from my sister in laws litter, Bandit. They both brought such love and happiness into our family and were devastated when we lost them both. Looking for a job where I could give my love to other’s animals. I currently am unemployed, but looking to be a full time dog sitter/ dog walker. I am a stay at home mom, hoping to bring some extra income to my household. My typical day starts at 7:30 with school drop off for my son and drop off at 8:40 for my daughter. With pick ups between 2-3:30. Once school ends my hours become more available.

We planned to have her watch our dog from Wednesday to Monday for a long weekend getaway, and then a snowstorm canceled our flight and we ended up being stuck away for 4 extra days. Meghan was so helpful and offered to go buy extra food for our pup since we had only packed him the amount he originally needed, and made us feel so comfortable leaving him there for what turned out to be such a long time. She sent lots of pictures and updates and I could tell my dog was having SUCH a good time. Usually when we pick our dog up from a sitter he is crying and squealing with excitement to see us… this time when we finally picked him up, he literally tried to go back into Meghan’s house and did not want to leave. I took care of her in her elderly state making sure she got the proper medications and attention she needed. I currently own an American Long Hair named Felix. He is fixed and friendly. Our newest memeber of our home is Cloud, a cuddly Golden Retreiver. We are fostering him. His owner left him behind when he moved out of state. Besides home, I have a number of dog-friendly trails and parks both in East Stroudsburg and nearby where I bring the dogs for some quality time outside. This includes hiking on trails and in the mountains, bringing the dogs to rivers or lakes, I mix it up each week depending on the weather conditions. Any time I go on an outdoor adventure, I make sure I have the owner’s consent. Their dogs will always be hydrated and have a snack. I only ask that if your dog has specific dietary needs or is taking medication, that you provide me with the necessary information and schedule. About: I Grew up around dogs. My aunt is a breeder who raises show dogs. My Husband and I have our own dog, a 4 year old German Shepherd. He is fully trained, cuddly, and well mannered pup. I have often taken care of and watched my neighbor’s dog and have even watched and hosted dogs in my house while their owners were away. I work from home most days. I commute into my office twice a week. I have plenty of time to watch and walk dogs while working from home. On the weekends I like to take them on adventures (hiking, dog parks, runs, and out to dog friendly restaurants, ect.) I have plenty of time to do fun activities with the animals! I have plenty of dog gates in my house so your dog cant get into trouble in unsupervised areas. I have crates if needed and plenty of space in the house to host your dog. Depending on your pups needs we can basically accommodate almost anything.

About: I have cared for pets ranging from a sleepy older cat to the more energetic dog. I am able to give medications and/or take your pet to the vet when needed. I love playing with dogs and cats to ensure that they get the socialization they need. I can personalize the care given to your pet, just let me know what you need! I work from home so am available to tend to your pet as often as needed. I am available all day to care for your pet(s). I will arrange my time around your pet's schedule as I only accept one pet (or two/three pets if they are part of the same family) at a time. I live on a large farm and will be able to take your pet for long walks if they are boarding or needing day care. I also have access to a fenced in area of the yard so that your pet can run around safely. I also have a friendly cat that warms up to other cats and dogs after a short getting to know you period.
About: I have been a dog sitter for my aunt who has had up to 3 dogs at one time. I am really good with animals and love spending time and playing with them. I own 3 dogs and 1 cat who I love with all my heart. I also have helped raise a puppy and own a dog over 12 years old I do not have another job. I typically bowl on Thursday and Sundays at 6:30 and also play soccer Sundays at 4. Other than that unless plans come up I am free At my home I have a fenced in yard. I also love playing with animals and using that as a way to keep them calm and collected inside the home.
About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and knew I always wanted to work with them. I’ve always cared for the pets I had growing up which included dogs, cats and guinea pigs! About: Hi! I’m 30 and I have been pet sitting on Rover for over three years for dogs and cats of all ages and needs. I may be petite but don’t be fooled! I am an aerialist in my spare time, and so I have a lot of upper body strength and can handle large, strong dogs as well as high energy dogs who need long, brisk walks for proper exercise. Safety and mental wellbeing are my top priorities. I always make sure dogs are leashed before going out the door and avoid other dogs and people during walks, just to be safe.

“Melissa and Angel are so amazing! They did a fabulous job at looking after my sweet girl and sent me lots of updates with pictures and videos. She looked so comfy and cozy. She had a blast! My girl had an ear infection at the time of boarding as well and they did very well making sure to stay on her medication schedule. She was very calm and not agitated at all coming back from her stay. We had a huge hiccup with car troubles and needed to extend her stay 2 more nights. Melissa and Angel made me feel so comfortable and assured me that everything would be okay when extending the times. They worked with me the entire time! About: I have had a dog since I was a kid. When I got married , we adopted our first dog Sonny from a rescue. Shortly after that we took one of the puppies from my sister in laws litter, Bandit. They both brought such love and happiness into our family and were devastated when we lost them both. Looking for a job where I could give my love to other’s animals. I currently am unemployed, but looking to be a full time dog sitter/ dog walker. I am a stay at home mom, hoping to bring some extra income to my household. My typical day starts at 7:30 with school drop off for my son and drop off at 8:40 for my daughter. With pick ups between 2-3:30. Once school ends my hours become more available.

“If I could leave 6 stars, I would! This was our first time using Meghan and she was amazing. We planned to have her watch our dog from Wednesday to Monday for a long weekend getaway, and then a snowstorm canceled our flight and we ended up being stuck away for 4 extra days. Meghan was so helpful and offered to go buy extra food for our pup since we had only packed him the amount he originally needed, and made us feel so comfortable leaving him there for what turned out to be such a long time. She sent lots of pictures and updates and I could tell my dog was having SUCH a good time. Usually when we pick our dog up from a sitter he is crying and squealing with excitement to see us… this time when we finally picked him up, he literally tried to go back into Meghan’s house and did not want to leave. He’s been depressed ever since we brought him back home… slightly heartbreaking for us LOL but a testament to what a great time he had with Meghan!”

We chose the boarding option, and Nimer had the best time at Joan's house, sleeping on her bed, playing in the cat tunnels, and climbing the cat trees. He also got along so well with her ferrets! Her house is free of any harmful products and is a safe space for just about any pet. Nimer will definitely be coming back when we go on our next trip. Highly recommend!”
