About: The first pet I ever asked my mom for was a kitten. I have raised more cats than I have dogs, and I've raised quite a few dogs! I've fostered and rescued many on my own as well. People like to assume that cats are aloof but they just have their own time and space. I like to give all pets their own time and space and understand their needs individually. It was the first time we were leaving our pup with anyone and he graciously agreed to meeting him the same night. About: My husband and I have lived in Lake Mohawk for 22 years. We have 4 wonderful children, all of which love animals. In addition to our children, we have a wonderfully trained female Havachon named Bella, whom we have raised since she was a puppy. While we no longer offer pet sitting in our home, we would love to offer drop in visits, and daily walks afterschool, evenings or during the weekends to give your fur baby some lov'n and activity while you're away! Depending on your fur baby's needs, during each visit, we will check food & water levels, give a 5 - 10 minute play session and a quick potty break outside. If you want, leave us a leash and we'll take your pup on a 20-30 min walk around the neighborhood to explore and get some exercise! I'm a school teacher who has my afternoons (after 2:30pm) and weekends free to drop in and give your pup plenty of lov'n and care! Check in with me during summer & holiday breaks, too, bc when school is off, I have the whole day free to check in on your fur baby! Upon arrival, I always let my furry friends smell and get acquainted with me before feeding or letting outside. I'm available 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays, for drop-ins, dog walks, boarding in my home or overnight stays in your home. I have a one acre yard that is not fenced. I walk dogs on a leash or put them out for quick potty breaks on a run out my back door. I have a gated deck for sun bathing, pool time and fresh air. Inside, I believe in slow introductions with resident pets. I have a gated living room where your pet will stay while my two dog-friendly dogs get to know them. If all introductions go smoothly, they may eventually get some dog play time, but I do know how to read dog body language and will not move forward if anyone seems uncomfortable. As a dog foster, I have introduced many dogs into my home successfully!

I’m available from mid day well into the evenings also available on weekend under special circumstances. I enjoy my walk and helping people. The company and pay are perks. Your furry friends is my priority I only walk one dog at a time. Paws will be brushed and whipped to remove dirt prior to entering the home. They will also be brushed and dried on rainy days if brush and towel is provided.
