“Kiana was truly amazing. I had a sudden family emergency that required me to go out of state. She went so far above and beyond during that time, while having no obligation to do so. From the beginning of the cats stay with Kiana, she had been so incredibly flexible, she agreed to watch them with only two days notice, and due to the situation evolving and becoming unpredictable, she was more than happy to allow me to extend their stay. She was the direct cause of so much stress relief due to knowing the cats were safe, and well taken care of. 5/5 human. As for her actual care of the kitties she again went well above and beyond anything anyone might think is going the extra mile. The cats were given the space needed to become comfortable and very quickly, and happily adapted to the new routine. I received frequent pictures and videos, she was very communicative, and because of her vigilance we were able to create a plan of action for one of the kitties who started throwing up more frequently than normal. She even went out and bought higher quality food for the cats, and implemented a structured feeing strategy so we could better assess the puking, which I doubt was an easy task since they both free fed before they were boarded. She kept me up to date at all times and provided regular, detailed updates. 5/5 for animal care as well. She is the best sitter/boarder I have ever had any experience with, by exponents, it’s not even close. Her service was head, and shoulders above anyone I’ve personally used before and far better than anything I’ve heard about other boarders. Choosing Kiana to care for your pets should be an insanely easy decision for anyone who wants their animals taken care of at the highest level of care, and wants someone that is just a straight up good human as well.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I worked at a doggy day care facility for 5 years and gained a ton of experience with dogs of all sized and temperaments! We have had 10 foster dogs in recent years who have taught me a lot! My current dog keeps me very active and we love long walks, hikes and the beach! My schedule is currently wide open. My dog is my everything and yours will get the same love and care while with me! We do long walks when temperatures allow and brief outdoor breaks during the day to stay cool and get in some exercise! I live in an apartment that is very walkable and has many parks around! About: I have dog sat and walked dogs for friends, family, and neighbors for the last eight years and approximately two years ago adopted my American Bully, Cane Corso mix named Clementine. I even trained her to be a therapy dog through a lot of training and education. I am comfortable working with rescues as well. I love working with all breeds, but specifically I love working with bully mixes too!! I am comfortable with medication administration, as well as working with dogs that have recently had surgery. My dog had TPLO surgery and took six months to recover so I’m willing to support in that process as well! I also have experience working with rescue dogs. I currently work full-time as a social worker, but I am looking to help with pet sitting on the weekends or dog walks earlier in the morning. In my home, my dog is on a strict schedule which includes brushing her teeth twice a day, administering medication in the morning, a structured walk and enrichment. For your pup, I can do whatever is needed!! my dog is also crate trained, and has been training to be a therapy dog. I am comfortable with dogs that are reactive to other dogs as well. I am able to do boarding in my home but your dog would have to be comfortable with my dog so we would have to do a meet and greet. I do not have a fun fenced in backyard, but I live on a rail trail and take my dog on walks there often. I am also comfortable with dropping in visits, walks, and overnight pet sitting.

After completing my full-time police career, I continued my K9 journey overseas, spending eight years in the Middle East providing private K9 handling and instruction in support of Army operations and Private Security detachments. “Kiana was truly amazing. I had a sudden family emergency that required me to go out of state. She went so far above and beyond during that time, while having no obligation to do so. From the beginning of the cats stay with Kiana, she had been so incredibly flexible, she agreed to watch them with only two days notice, and due to the situation evolving and becoming unpredictable, she was more than happy to allow me to extend their stay. She was the direct cause of so much stress relief due to knowing the cats were safe, and well taken care of. 5/5 human. As for her actual care of the kitties she again went well above and beyond anything anyone might think is going the extra mile. The cats were given the space needed to become comfortable and very quickly, and happily adapted to the new routine. I received frequent pictures and videos, she was very communicative, and because of her vigilance we were able to create a plan of action for one of the kitties who started throwing up more frequently than normal. She even went out and bought higher quality food for the cats, and implemented a structured feeing strategy so we could better assess the puking, which I doubt was an easy task since they both free fed before they were boarded. She kept me up to date at all times and provided regular, detailed updates. 5/5 for animal care as well. She is the best sitter/boarder I have ever had any experience with, by exponents, it’s not even close. Her service was head, and shoulders above anyone I’ve personally used before and far better than anything I’ve heard about other boarders. Choosing Kiana to care for your pets should be an insanely easy decision for anyone who wants their animals taken care of at the highest level of care, and wants someone that is just a straight up good human as well.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and am happy to care for your doggo. I currently have a 1 year old Golden Retriever and am well versed in both puppy and senior care. I am a full time teacher on summer break, so have availability to fit your needs over the summer. I’m a full time teacher on summer break, so have plenty of time to give your dog the attention they deserve! I am home most of the day with occasional trips to the gym/store. I have a fenced yard and available sidewalks/trails for walks. I do have a 1 year old energetic Golden Retriever who is very friendly (maybe too friendly for some dogs) and a 2 year old Persian kitty who is skeptical of new animals
