“A big thank you to Trisha & Dan for taking such excellent care of Casey while we were away for 9 days, over Thanksgiving. Since Casey is older and has only stayed with family or friends for the last 13+ years, we were a little hesitant to leave him with just anyone and a kennel was not an option at his age. We found Trisha and Dan through Rover.com and the entire process was simply fantastic. Even with Casey being better than 90% deaf at this point, this was not an issue. We were able to meet Trisha before we made the reservation, to determine our and Casey’s comfort levels. In a word, we felt like they would be the right people to leave Casey with. Casey as well felt right at home during the meet and greet visit and got along great with Stout, Trisha & Dan’s dog. Drop off day came and when I brought Casey over, he “made himself right at home,” much to my dismay. Well, after that, Casey had a fantastic time. The photos we received made us feel so much better and they told the story, Casey just having a wonderful time. It even looked like he helped cook, although I am sure he was simply hoping Dan would drop his dinner. Casey slept on Stouts bed and Stout slept on Casey’s bed and both looked natural and relaxed. When we picked Casey up, he seemed sad and he did not want to leave. He slept all the next day and part if not most of the next day. Casey looked around for his new little friend Stout and he clearly misses him and the fun that they had together. We will be definitely requesting Trisha, Dan and Stout again in the future for all of Casey’s overnight stays as the comfort and confidence they provide was, in a word, incredible. Thank you again for the fantastic care and love Casey received. See you soon. ”

We were bringing Bolt to a boarding place nearby but would always feel very on edge and worrying while on vacation. He would come home from the boarding place and his elbows were very rough and red and he would be so thirsty. I picked him up from Connor and he was fine, like he never left home. He was a little tired but that’s to be expected going to a new place. Connor’s house was clean and she has a very nice yard and large covered porch she sat under with him. She was easy to communicate with and flexible. As soon as I met her and she met my dog, I knew we were going to be good! “After meeting with Gwen we felt they were a good fit, and we scheduled nightly check ins/ feedings for our cats for the 10 days we would be visiting family. Gwen has such a pleasant demeanor and always talks to our cats just like we would! We made it clear that our priority is the cats getting love and attention and they consistently played with and loved on our cats. They are great at following instructions and not only made sure our cats were loved and fed but also took care of our many plants, and even tackled the weekly deep clean of our giant litter box! About: I've had dogs all of my life. All of my dogs I rescued, Rosco from North Carolina, Athena from Puerto Rico, Otis a Maine resident (my other half best friend) ,Piglet from Georgia and Thia from Saint Thomas. I've always had a love and special way with dogs. It's all about time and patience they are 4 legged kids. Ive introduced a senior dog who was not fond of other dogs to his new sister and they lived happily in the house together. I've had alot of experience with senior dogs dealing with hip issues and mobility. I am also a pitbull mom so I know all about their attitude. I have went through obedient school and have learned alot and plain on continue training not just for my self but for the dogs we have to be trained just as much as they do. I'm currently working 7 to 3 M-F but have time at night and on weekends in my daily schedule that I would love to fill and what better way then spending with animals. I treat my pets as if they are kids because they are my kids! I'm a dog mom. My dogs have a fenced in back yard they always run around in.

About: I have had a dog at least 20 years. We occasionally have a Labrador a week at a time, he has full run of the house. I do not work, so I am home most of the time. I do local Arts Markets, but those aren't long days. A dog would get lots of attention. I have a fenced in back yard that has plenty of room for playing. The house is one floor, which would be easier on older dogs.

About: My partner, April, and I have been caring for dogs our whole lives. We have experience working with different ages, breeds, temperaments, and varying levels of special needs care. We began our training journey when we rescued our two german Shepards and trained them as our service dogs. Our girls, Maya and Sadie, have grown so much in these past years! About: I've been a special needs dog owner, am honored to be loved by my partner's parrot, as well as taken care of other dogs, cats, rabbits, geese, goats, and am a horse person. I can throw hay, if given proper instructions can put together the morning grain. I love taking care of bonded pairs of house rabbits, as well as curling up with a doggo or a kitty. If I'm doing in home, I tend to first feed the pet(s) in the morning, before I get myself breakfast, and the same for dinner. If drop in is needed, I'll be there morning, & evening, potentially mid day as well. I tend to sit for new clients in their home, depending upon established client I may sit in my house for well behaved dogs. If at my house, your dog will never be outside without some sort of leash, whether it's a 6' or a 50' long line, as I have a not fenced in yard, with a well traveled road at the end of my driveway.

“Stacy's home was ideal for Olli. As much as Olli enjoyed being there with her pups and her family, Stacy equally enjoyed caring for our dog. She took him on to the trails, in her car on errands, and was flexible and accommodating to his roaming to various sleeping spots. We are visiting Maine for a few months and Stacy was a great find. Getting to her home in Raymond from Portland was a direct 30 minute trip.”

“Connor was great with our dog Bolt! This was our first time going through the app, she made it very easy. We were bringing Bolt to a boarding place nearby but would always feel very on edge and worrying while on vacation. He would come home from the boarding place and his elbows were very rough and red and he would be so thirsty. I picked him up from Connor and he was fine, like he never left home. He was a little tired but that’s to be expected going to a new place. Connor’s house was clean and she has a very nice yard and large covered porch she sat under with him. She was easy to communicate with and flexible. As soon as I met her and she met my dog, I knew we were going to be good! I plan to bring him to her again soon and will continue to for as long as I can!”
“Christina was really great with Cosmo and is experienced in dog behaviour and handling. I was nervous as Cosmo hasn't stayed in a kennel before but she handled it great and Cosmo had a great time! She was detailed in asking questions to ensure she had all the information to provide the best care for him.”
