“Excellent sitters for my dog! Great communication before and during stay. They were thoughtful and intentional with the care they provided. I will definitely ask for their help again in the future!”

“Bandit and Annie seemed to have a great time with you Heather. They were well cared for and had no issues when I picked them up. I appreciate that you were able to take them in on short notice. Thanks again.”

“Ashley, Shayne and their boys are such a wonderful family. Ruby had a wonderful time with them this weekend. I can truly tell how much their care about their animals and treated Ruby just the same for the 4 days she was with them. Their fenced yard is perfect for pups to play in and we felt very comfortable that Ruby would be safe in their home. Ashley responded to any message before and during Ruby's stay promptly, and sent me photos, videos and updates throughout the day while we were away. I could tell Ruby was having a great time playing with their dog, Axel (he's such a sweetie), and she's come home suitably tired! I honestly can't fault Ashley and her family and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you!”

“Cara and her family had me completely at ease from our meet & greet through my dog’s stay. Cara shared photos every day and included notes - allowed me to remain confident in Fiona’s care. Cara is very responsive and excellent with communicating.”

“Enzo can be a shy guy and a little nervous but Lauren did everything to make him feel comfortable including checking in with me, which I truly appreciate. He came home happy and tired and we would use Lauren again!”

“Hannah saved my wedding day!! Our scheduled dog sitter (not from Rover) cancelled on us two days before our out-of-state wedding, and Hannah not only filled in last minute, she might be our pups favorite person💖 She is incredibly warm, they took to her immediately, and we were so grateful 🙏 Got lots of photos of them just relaxing around her and were able to enjoy our wedding day stress free. Thanks so much, Hannah!!”

“Michelle was great with our Enzo. She sent lots of updates with pictures and videos and I know he was well loved. The day we picked him up he slept all afternoon and was such a happy dog. Will absolutely use Michelle again.”

“Abby sent great photos and made Lucas part of her family. It’s his first over night experience when he returned to me happy and calm (and tired) instead of stressed. I recommend her totally”

“Faustine took our kids on with fairly short notice and one of our furry children is a little difficult when it comes to meeting new people. She handled it with grace and I think may have actually managed to convince our child that she wasn't so bad. Impressive! Will definitely be reaching out in the future if we need a sitter and Faustine is still at it. ❤️”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and am happy to care for your doggo. I currently have a 1 year old Golden Retriever and am well versed in both puppy and senior care. I am a full time teacher on summer break, so have availability to fit your needs over the summer. I’m a full time teacher on summer break, so have plenty of time to give your dog the attention they deserve! I am home most of the day with occasional trips to the gym/store. I have a fenced yard and available sidewalks/trails for walks. I do have a 1 year old energetic Golden Retriever who is very friendly (maybe too friendly for some dogs) and a 2 year old Persian kitty who is skeptical of new animals
“Steve, Keely, and their dog Sabra were warm and welcoming to Nyla. They were responsive each time we reached out, sent plenty of updates, and were diligent in following the care instructions we provided. We were very comforted that our dog was so well cared for by them and would recommend them to anyone in need of a sitter.”

“Heather was very quick to respond when I was looking for a dog sitter. She is very responsive and always kept me updated! My dog had a little upset stomach and she did give him some pumpkin puree :) I would definitely rebook with Heather and highly recommend!!”

“Althea was great with our nervous & shy rescue dog. Patient and flexible when our holiday travel plans were in flux. Cleo got plenty of exercise with trail walks and playtime with other dogs, and we enjoyed all the photos Althea sent. Thank you!”

“Diana was a fabulous host! She was very responsive throughout the whole process and was really helpful in working with us to make arrangements for our 2 dogs for a long-term stay. One of our dogs had a pre-existing health problem flare up during their stay, and Diana notified us immediately and went above and beyond in making the necessary arrangements and keeping us informed. We will definitely be using Diana again!”
“Grace was amazing! She was able to accommodate our dog's personality quirks and we were able to rest easy while Basil stayed with her. She was kind and attentive and gave updates on how our pup was doing. Thanks to Grace we were able to fully relax and enjoy the family wedding we were in town for! I only wish we lived closer so she could be our regular pet sitter!”

“This is the second time Sandy has taken care of our cats. They love her, even our one usually shy-with-strangers kitty. It's clear when we get home that they haven't missed us---which allows me to better enjoy our time away. I highly recommend Sandy's services.”

“Allyson cared for our dog for a full week. A prompt message was sent following each visit with a photo or two. We felt at ease that Allyson was going above and beyond to make sure Finn was comfortable while we were away. We are fortunate to have Allyson for our pet care needs!”

“Megan was so great with taking care of it and buddy. She had great communication every day and sent really cute photos of our gang. We definitely love to have her pet sit for us again.”

“I really hope we can do this again together. My girls were so happy and well cared for. I really liked the updates and jr was lovely seeing how relaxed my girls were even though I’d been gone for five days. Jordan took notes when we left and it helped to ease my mind. She was just wonderful.”

“Althea takes the extra time to make sure the cats are getting the best care! When she found that our cat had thrown up she not only cleaned it all up, but checked the house for more and kept us updated.”

“Chichi had a drop-in visit with my dog in anticipation of walking him daily for a couple of weeks. I was impressed by her experience with reactive dogs. She was not at all put off by my dog's fearful reaction to a new person and I am happy to have found someone who understands dog psychology.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong cat lover who understands that every cat has their own unique personality, routine, and comfort level. I’ve had my own Maine Coon for most of my life, so I’m very familiar with caring for large breeds as well as all the little quirks that make cats so special. In addition to caring for my own cat, I’ve volunteered at animal shelters where I helped care for cats of all ages, temperaments, and backgrounds. Whether your cat is playful and social or shy and prefers their own space, I’m happy to provide care that matches their individual needs. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust while you’re away. I’ll make sure your cat has fresh food and water, a clean litter box, plenty of playtime (or quiet companionship if they prefer), and lots of love and attention. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy and well cared for. I treat every cat as if they were my own, and I’d love the opportunity to meet yours!
“Thanks Hannah for taking such good care of our quirky cat, Remy, in spite of the challenging winter break weather!! You made our first experience with ROVER a very positive one. Much appreciated!!”

“Cyan was an amazing sitter. She came by our house before we scheduled her to meet our pup. Was very responsive and easy to work with. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter.”

“Our puppy had the best time with Greta! She went on lots of walks and loved hanging out with the other doggos. She was super happy and tired at the end of the day! Definitely will book again. Thanks Greta!”

“Susan and John were great! We have a senior dog and a puppy and both felt right at home with them during their daycare visit. Thank you both for being our pup’s home away from home while we were on vacation and couldn’t take them with us on our day trip!”

“Megan was super-enthusiastic, clear, and interested in having the best possible interactions and relationship with Boo. At every step, I was reassured by her approach and the way things went. In my experience, you are in good hands when you entrust your pet to Megan, and in my case that adds up to peace of mind when it just wasn’t possible to be there myself.”

About: Pet Care Experience — From Horses to Cats to Dogs My life with animals began long before it became a profession. At 14 years old, I started caring for horses — feeding, grooming, riding, exercising, and treating them as family. Horses taught me early lessons in patience, responsibility, and the importance of daily, consistent care. They also showed me how powerful the bond can be when animals are treated with respect and love. By 16, that passion grew into the dog world when I had the opportunity to be mentored by a close friend who was a Police K9 handler. That mentorship changed my life and set me on a path that would define my career. I began training at a K9 school in my hometown in New Hampshire, where I learned the foundations of K9 behavior, obedience, care, and handling of working dogs. I poured everything I had into learning the craft. After a year of dedicated internship and training, I taught my first class at just 17 years old. From that moment, I knew this was more than a job — it was a calling. Over the years, my experience grew into becoming a Police K9 handler in New Hampshire, followed by serving as a trainer and instructor for the NH Police K9 Academy through the Working Dog Foundation. I worked daily with high-drive working dogs and their handlers, focusing on discipline, safety, trust, and performance in real-world environments. After completing my full-time police career, I continued my K9 journey overseas, spending eight years in the Middle East providing private K9 handling and instruction in support of Army operations and Private Security detachments. Working in demanding and high-stress conditions further refined my skills and reinforced the importance of calm leadership, consistency, and deep respect for the dogs that depend on us. At the same time, I never stopped helping everyday families with their pets. Training and caring for family dogs — from energetic puppies to older companions — has always been just as important to me as working with professional K9 teams. I believe every dog deserves structure, patience, and loving guidance so they can thrive as well-behaved members of the family. Alongside my deep dog experience, my connection to cats comes from being a devoted cat owner. My wife and I shared our home with two amazing cats for about eight years, caring for them daily and loving them as part of our family. Living with cats taught me to appreciate their unique personalities, their need for gentle handling, respect for space, and the importance of calm, consistent routines — especially in a home shared with dogs. While my background with cats is personal rather than professional, it comes from genuine love and hands-on care as a pet parent. Through every chapter — horses, dogs, and cats — one thing has never changed: I treat animals as family. Today, with 27 years of experience centered around K9 training, handling, and care, supported by a lifetime of loving animals of all kinds, I bring a calm, confident, and compassionate approach to every pet I work with. Whether your dog needs structured care, your cat needs gentle attention, or your pet simply needs someone who will treat them like their own, I’m here to provide that level of trust and commitment. When you leave your pet with me, you’re not just choosing a sitter or caretaker — you’re choosing someone who has built his life around animals and who will care for yours with the same respect, patience, and love I’ve given my own. I am currently able to accommodate week days and most weekends to assist our communities. I can be available pretty much any time during the day as I own my own company that is newer to the industry it is supporting. 🛡️🐾 Safety, Trust & Environment For me, caring for animals has always been about more than just meeting basic needs — it’s about earning trust, creating calm, and treating every pet with the same respect and love I give my own. With decades of experience around animals — especially working dogs in high-responsibility and high-stress environments — I’ve learned that pets thrive when they feel safe, understood, and cared for with consistency. Whether it’s a high-drive dog, a shy cat, or a senior companion, I take the time to understand each animal’s personality, routines, and comfort level. In my care, your pet will have: ❤️ Genuine compassion and patience 🏡 A calm, structured, and loving environment 🦴 Proper exercise, enrichment, and rest 🍽️ Attention to feeding routines and health needs 👀 Close supervision and awareness at all times I believe animals should never feel rushed, ignored, or unsafe. I keep their spaces clean, secure, and peaceful, and I handle every interaction with calm confidence so they know they’re in good hands. Because of my background with working dogs and my life with pets like Aries, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your animal with someone else. I don’t take that lightly. When your pet is with me, they’re treated as part of my family — with the highest level of care, respect, and responsibility. Most importantly, I listen to what matters most to you, learning your pet’s daily routines and needs so I can mirror your care and make their time with me feel just like home.
About: I have 3 years of experience caring for cats and also have two of my own, so I truly understand their routines and personalities. I’m especially comfortable with shy or anxious cats and take a calm, patient approach to build trust at their pace. As an ICU nurse, I’m very detail oriented and experienced with medications and special care needs. I keep litter boxes clean, monitor eating and behavior closely, and maintain a consistent routine. I provide regular updates and photos so you always feel confident your cat is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I work night shift as a nurse, so I’m available during the day, including mornings, afternoons, and most weekends. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide consistent, reliable care and attention to your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I follow routines closely, keep a clean and secure environment, and monitor for any changes.
