Professionally, I was vet assistant at an animal clinic before returning to farm animal work. At the clinic I learned the basics of animal health care and I learned how to properly handle dogs and cats. Throughout the last twelve years I’ve farm-sat and pet-sat for numerous friends and family members! In the last year I worked at a doggy daycare and worked groups of 11-12 large dogs. I also worked in group of 15+ small dogs and "solos" (highly dog aggressive dogs). Working in that environment took me to the next level of understanding cues and dog behavior. I learned to advocate for dogs, look for health and safety warning signs and how to manage group dynamics. I am currently a *human* nurse and making time for animals because that is where I feel I really come alive. :) I believe that animals are part of the family and I will treat them like so. I have basic experience with dog training and I personally believe that dogs thrive in structured and predictable environments. I love exercising and having fun with dogs, too! I have availability to help you with your pup or cat! Depending on the health of your pet I will socialize and exercise your pet's body and mind and of course offer any snuggles that are welcomed. About: I have been caring for unwanted and wayward animals for 30 years. All of our pets have been adopted as strays, from shelters or rehoming. Now, I bring these years of experience and love to your furry family members. With a team of of veterinary providers, groomers and emergency contacts in place, you can rest assured that your pets will receive the best possible attention and care. Because I much prefer to care for animals than greet customers at a WalMart, I joined Rover as my retirement job :) It's a great way to pursue my love for dogs and cats. l'm almost always available with a little notice. My home is open to your dog. Jump up on the couch, sleep on the bed, no problem unless you prefer a more structured environment and routine. Your dog will be one of the family here and will have company most all of the time. I also offer a very nice space for cats or for dogs that do not get along well with others. Not a cage or kennel but a finished 20x20 heated and furnished room in my barn loft where we can play and visit one on one.

When Charlotte ran out of food, Susan went to the pet store to buy her new food so that she would not have to switch to something that she was not used to. Amazingly they let Charlotte up on their bed. Lots of cuddling photos. Charlotte looked happy in every one of them. I was very pleased and would highly recommend them! About: Hi my name is Sean. I recently graduated from RIT with a BFA in illustration. I love all animals and currently have a lot of flexibility to care for your pets while I am working from home. I grew up with two labradoodles and I have also cared for friends' animals while they have been away. One of my dogs has Addison's disease, so I am familiar with giving medication to pets. Spending time with animals brings me joy and does not seem like work - I enjoy playing with your animals, going on walks and I give a great belly rub! I am extremely responsible and will love your animals like my own...you might also find some sketches of your pet when you return home. I am an artist that is currently working from home in Quechee. I am extremely flexible and am available during the week and on weekends. I make my own hours so can work around your schedule. I live with my parents and two friendly labradoodles ages 8 and 12. I could board a dog in my home if he/she gets along well with other dogs and is house-trained. I prefer to care for your animals in your own home: I can do drop-in visits, walks and daytime or overnight house-sitting.
About: I have had dogs my whole life and am happy to care for your doggo. I currently have a 1 year old Golden Retriever and am well versed in both puppy and senior care. I am a full time teacher on summer break, so have availability to fit your needs over the summer. I’m a full time teacher on summer break, so have plenty of time to give your dog the attention they deserve! I am home most of the day with occasional trips to the gym/store. I have a fenced yard and available sidewalks/trails for walks. I do have a 1 year old energetic Golden Retriever who is very friendly (maybe too friendly for some dogs) and a 2 year old Persian kitty who is skeptical of new animals
