I love being surrounded by animals, I am very patient with them, I love playing and walking with them. About: I have spent many overnights at homes while providing pet care. The durations of these stays have been up to a week. I do very well with following clear directions for feeding, medications, as well as other pet care needs. This includes affection and playing— I absolutely love dogs and cats! I am a teacher, which of course is a very busy job. However, I do not work over the summer, which means I have lots of flexibility in these months. I am also available during most weekends! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following instructions regarding feeding, medications, going outside, as well as anything else that may be necessary! When owners are gone, I recognize it is best for the pets to keep their routines as consistent as possible! I respect any rules clients may have for their pets (e.g. where around they house they are allowed, any dietary limitations, and any necessary precautions to take so that the pets stay safe!)

About: I grew up on a farm in a remote area with a menagerie of pets for friends. My best friend, Ginger, has departed after 14+ yrs of unconditional love. I am ready to begin walking with and caring for someone else’s special four legged friends when you can’t be with them yourself. I’m currently sampling what retirement might be like, and I feel like animals and their care will be a big part of that life phase. About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I can remember! My specialties lie in elderly dogs, rescue pups with high needs, dogs with medical needs, & dogs in training. Willing to care for puppies as well, though I have less experience in this field, I am a quick learner and very patient. Looking forward to giving your pups the love & exercise/play they deserve! I currently have a part-time job at Dominos and am involved in community projects, so I’m a good amount of busy. That being said, as long as I have 2-3 days notice minimum, we can always work something out! I would come to your home & follow whatever care guide directions given taking into account any food or medical needs. Then I would play with them, walk, brush, whatever sort of enrichment time the owner preferred. If there’s a lawn space (if not this could be indoors) I can do leash and/or recall training. Make sure they have food & water when we get back. Lots of love/cuddles. Then I would make sure they were safely back in their kennel or whatever portion or the house they stay in before leaving! Making sure all doors and windows are not accessible to them as well as anything edible.
