It made us feel good to see Schnappi playing and napping and knowing he was being taken care of so well. They followed the directions we left for feeding, medication, etc. well and were really communicative. They were able to help us out last minute when our friend had to cancel on dog-sitting, which was amazing. And then when my plane was super delayed Lika was really nice about me being late to pick him up. She also went above & beyond and delivered his food bowls to us after we forgot to bring them home. About: I have spent many overnights at homes while providing pet care. The durations of these stays have been up to a week. I do very well with following clear directions for feeding, medications, as well as other pet care needs. This includes affection and playing— I absolutely love dogs and cats! I am a teacher, which of course is a very busy job. However, I do not work over the summer, which means I have lots of flexibility in these months. I am also available during most weekends! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following instructions regarding feeding, medications, going outside, as well as anything else that may be necessary! When owners are gone, I recognize it is best for the pets to keep their routines as consistent as possible! I respect any rules clients may have for their pets (e.g. where around they house they are allowed, any dietary limitations, and any necessary precautions to take so that the pets stay safe!)

I've taken care of dogs ( mostly larger breeds) and house sat for a small farm taking care of dogs, goats and ducks.
