“Totally thrilled with the stay! A perfect home for sensitive dogs - great people and a peaceful environment. Barbara and Darryll are warm, caring people and very responsive to my dogs needs, plus sent regular updates and pictures throughout the stay. My dog is a Belgian Shepherd and can be anxious and at times reactive, but she was relaxed and quiet while staying here. It was ideal because they were home with her most of the time and kept a consistent routine for her. She found her place on a couch by the window so she could watch the squirrels in the yard, just like at home. I felt safe leaving my dogs with such kind people, thank you Barbara and Darryll! I can't recommend them highly enough!”

I have 1 very friendly lab mix and a great dane who would keep your dog friendly dogs company, and I also offer special care for those special pups who are more people dogs than dog dogs for no additional charge. If your dog is crate trained they will be crated for bedtime (9pm-6am) with overnight potty breaks if your pup requires them as well. I keep all dogs and cats separated. Dogs have the downstairs of the home, and cats have the upstairs. I am comfortable with administering basically any medication except needles, the only needle exception being for diabetic cats.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life, and wouldn't have it any other way. Throughout my childhood, I helped my parents raise cows, goats, pigs, chickens, our llama, and a few more little critters on our farm. We've always had dogs and cats, and my love for them doesn't compare. I've helped feed, walk, bathe, cut toenails, and give shots and medication since able to do so. I've helped out family friends with walking and pet sitting for their dogs. I love forming bonds with all kinds of animals and having them be a part of my day.
