“I've never had to board my dogs before and was very nervous. Rachael answered my many questions, explained everything I needed to know. Her family is wonderful with my dogs and I finally feel I've found someone caring and trustworthy. I will definitely rebook in the future!”
“Jie and her family were lovely hosts and took such great care of my pup! I was appreciative of the last minute meet and greet just to make sure it was a good fit for my little one and it certainly was. All the pictures and videos were wonderful and they kept her busy! I will certainly rebook in the future!”
“Abby sent great photos and made Lucas part of her family. It’s his first over night experience when he returned to me happy and calm (and tired) instead of stressed. I recommend her totally”

“Emily was so great watching our energetic lab for a few nights! Her communication was super prompt and she shared daily updates with pics/videos. She was so accommodating and her whole family seemed to welcome our dog into their home. Would highly recommend Emily’s boarding services! We’ll be back!! 🙂”

“Megan was great! She was very good at communicating and checked in with us with any questions she had. She sent pictures everyday! Thank you for taking such great care of Gracie while we were away.”

“John and Susan were absolutely amazing. my dog Pearl has been with us for five years and we’ve never boarded her out and we’ve never brought her to a doggy daycare or anything like that. I knew I didn’t want to bring my dog to a place that keeps her crated or in a kennel type situation. John and Susan treated Perl the exact way we treat her 💤🛌 sleeping in our bed, sleeping or in our lap, loving us, kissing us, going for walks, cuddle time spoiling her with treats. I would highly recommend John and Susan and little Miss Emily. They were so great with communication to let me know how she was doing, taking pictures and that just helped ease our minds so much…”

“Jodie was absolutely amazing with my dog over Memorial Day weekend! She went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and well cared for. She kept me updated with great communication throughout the stay and sent lots of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My dog had an absolute blast with her, and it was clear she was in great hands the entire time. I would highly recommend Jodie to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive pet sitter!”

About: I love all animals and have fostered for the local Humane Society for the last couple of years. I am drawn to all animals regardless of type, size or breed. Sometimes the more unique the better but there’s something special about every pet. I work remotely so my schedule allows flexibility that is conducive to pet sitting. I am available 7 days a week. I can sometimes accommodate last minute bookings as well. I work remotely and love getting out for walks. I have a flexible schedule but I also know how hard it can be to entrust someone with your fur babies so I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently have five of my own, so caring for them comes naturally to me. As a stay-at-home mom to four kids, I’m home and available throughout the day—meaning your pup will always have company, love, and attention. Caring for pets is second nature in my home. Between my five dogs and four kids, there’s always love, play, and activity to go around. Whether it’s morning walks, midday playtime, or cozy evening cuddles, pets easily become part of our family rhythm and daily routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine closely to keep things comfortable and familiar. I make sure they’re well-fed, walked, and given plenty of love and attention—just as if they were my own. I also keep homes tidy and respect any specific instructions, so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
About: I work full-time from home in Amherst, meaning your dog will never be left alone or crated for long stretches. I have a large, fully fenced-in yard where guest dogs can run safely alongside my friendly 35 lb Rat Terrier/Beagle mix, Wally! Because I only host ONE client family at a time, your pet gets 100% of my attention, unlimited bathroom breaks, and constant supervision throughout the day. Whether it's lounging next to my desk or playing fetch in the yard, your dog will feel right at home. I work full-time from home, which means pet care seamlessly integrates into my day. Your dog won't be left alone or crated for hours while you're away. I take regular breaks throughout the day for yard play, potty breaks, and walks. Because I only take one client family at a time, your dog receives constant company alongside my friendly mix, Wally. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home features a fully fenced, secure backyard where dogs can run freely and safely. Inside, furniture privileges are welcome if that's what your pup is used to at home! Whether your dog is crate-trained or prefers lounging on a dog bed, I adapt to their normal routine. Mandatory meet-and-greets ensure everyone gets along before booking.
“Ashton and his wife took excellent care of my dogs while I was away. They were kind, reliable, and made me feel comfortable knowing my dogs were in good hands. My dogs came home happy, healthy, and well cared for. The pickup and drop-off process was smooth and easy, and I could tell they genuinely cared about my pets. I will definitely be booking with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy pet sitters!”

“Simply amazing—I recommend them wholeheartedly. She was attentive from the very first contact. We were quite apprehensive since it was Daisy's first time with a sitter, but they were very patient, and Daisy felt right at home! It is a healthy and safe environment. I will definitely contact her again if the need arises. We loved the care she received, and Daisy loved everything! Thank you.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Amy was warm, kind, and incredibly attentive while caring for my dog. It gave me real peace of mind knowing my baby was in such good hands. Communication was great, and it was clear she genuinely cared. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her services!”

“Alicia and her sweet family welcomed Ollie into their home for a 10 day stay. This was Ollie's first stay away from home and Alicia did her best to make him feel safe and comfortable during his stay. Upon pickup he was healthy and happy - would not hesitate to book again!”

“This was our first time leaving our beloved golden retriever, Sophie in the care of a pet sitter, and Ashley more than met our expectations. She provided us with daily photos and comments of Sophie's activities, to which was such a wonderful benefit. We would definitely utilize Ashley's services in the future, as I think Sophie is missing her already.”
“Swift, Brian, family were amazing with our two dogs! They sent lots of photos throughout the weekend and responded quickly. We will definitely be using them again and highly recommend!”

“Finn loves him time with Luiz and his family. We love the setup Luiz has that allows our energetic Goldendoodle to run to his hearts content. “It is clear that Sarah is great with animals, my cats took to her. I have one cat who tends to be shy and she grew in confidence with Sarah. Sarah is someone you can trust with your animals. I appreciated that she did more than feed and clean the litter boxes. She took time with my cats. The daily notes and photos were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Sarah and will call on her the next time I travel.”

“Amie was a rockstar! She was very thorough and asked appropriate questions to ensure the best possible care for my cat. She is knowledgeable, has excellent communication, and provided detailed updates. She was incredibly kind and patient with my anxious kitty, and I am so grateful to her!”

“Jordan did a great job looking after my cat and home! A tree fell and took out power lines leading to my place. Jordan contacted Golden Valley right away rather than telling me about it and leaving it up to me while I was 3000 miles away. I won’t hesitate to contact her first next time I have to travel.”

“Amanda was a wonderful pet sitter, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. She stayed in our home and cared for our cat while we were away, and she regularly checked in to let us know how things were going, which gave us real peace of mind. When we returned, our cat was happy and relaxed, and everything in our house was exactly as we had left it. We initially felt a little uneasy hiring someone we didn’t know to stay in our home and care for our baby for a week, but we’re so glad we put our faith in Amanda. We completely trust her and will absolutely hire her again.”

“Nadine is a wonderful cat carer and cat whisperer! She brought out the best in my kitties. I am so lucky to have her caring for my two kitties. She is everything I could hope for in a cat sitter. My kitties agree. !!!!”

“Emily spent a month with our cat Yoyo (Yosemite Sam) while we were away. They became pals. Emily took good care of Yoyo and sent us a photo of him every day. Emily also babysat our indoor and outdoor plants, especially some special ones that we had just planted before our trip. They in great condition. We definitely recommend Emily as a pet sitter and hope she will be available the next time we go away.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, starting my pet care career in high school at a doggie daycare, and ending up here, with 6 years of professional experience and the same love of animals I’ve had since the beginning. I do have a full time job that prevents me from doing any jobs between the hours of 7am-4pm Tuesday-Thursday. Friday/Saturday I am available beginning at 2pm, and Sunday/Monday I have open availability. I treat all animals the way I would hope someone would take care of my girls when I go on vacation. There’s nothing more important to me than knowing they’re in good hands with someone who will not only stop by and feed them, but spend time with them, maybe cuddle on the couch or just keep them company. I understand that your pets are family, and I will always treat them as such.
“Margaret & Dawson were great and took care of our pets like they were their own. Very trustworthy, dependable and communicative. They sent us pictures and videos of the pets with each visit. We recommend booking with them and we will book with them again in the future!”

“Emily is extremely friendly and warm. . She has a real passion for animals and a lot of experience. She is easy to work with and excellent at giving updates about caring for your animal(s). We had a great experience in her checking on our beloved cat, Butterscotch!”

I have a flexible schedule, which I am able to pet sit at last notice. I have a dog name Juno who is a six year old Labrador who is friendly and gets along with all dogs. I would like meet and greets just to know the dog before hand and the dog knows me and Juno before we welcome them into our home! We want to create a welcoming home to your dog by not being a total stranger watching them, helping your dog with adjusting as their family is away. I currently work as a nurse so on my days off I am usually at home hanging with Juno and going on walks or playing in the uard I have yard with a river in the back. My dog usually off leash but because of the no fence will keep your dog on leash for safety and lots of walks throughout the day!

About: I have 14+ years experience in the veterinary field. Learning about animal behaviors, preventative care and physical health is a passion of mine. I will hold each pet to standards that support good manners, so some training may be associated with my services. I strive to exercise your fur babies intellectually as well as physically. About: Hi, I’m Laurie! Animals have always been at the heart of my life and work. I run my own professional pet transport company, where I safely move pets across the country by both air and ground. Because of that experience, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, bunnies, and other small animals of all temperaments and personalities. Whether I’m boarding pets in my home or staying at yours, my goal is to give them the same comfort, attention, and love they’d get from you. I’m USDA certified, insured, and have a spotless driving record. I’m also a non-smoker and child-free, so all my focus goes to the pets in my care. I understand how stressful it can be for pets (and owners!) when routines are disrupted, so I make sure to keep feeding, walks, playtime, and snuggles as consistent as possible. I provide regular photo and video updates so you’ll never wonder how your pet is doing. Why Choose Me: • Years of hands-on experience with animals of all sizes and personalities • Small-scale, quality-over-quantity care (I only take on a manageable number of pets so each one gets the attention they deserve) • Compassionate, trustworthy, and dedicated to keeping your pets safe, happy, and stress-free Your pets aren’t just animals — they’re family. I’d be honored to care for them like my own. There is always someone at the house to care for the dogs, usually two or three people to provide frequent play and potty time outside How I Keep Pets Safe While Boarding: • I only board a small number of pets at a time so each one gets proper attention and supervision. • Pets are never left outside unattended. I use leashes, harnesses, and secure fenced areas for bathroom breaks and playtime. • Feeding is done separately when needed to avoid food guarding or scuffles between pets. • I sanitize bowls, bedding, and crates regularly to maintain a clean and healthy environment. • I follow each pet’s routine closely, including any medications, special diets, or exercise needs. • I provide constant check-ins and updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: Pet Care Experience — From Horses to Cats to Dogs My life with animals began long before it became a profession. At 14 years old, I started caring for horses — feeding, grooming, riding, exercising, and treating them as family. Horses taught me early lessons in patience, responsibility, and the importance of daily, consistent care. They also showed me how powerful the bond can be when animals are treated with respect and love. By 16, that passion grew into the dog world when I had the opportunity to be mentored by a close friend who was a Police K9 handler. That mentorship changed my life and set me on a path that would define my career. I began training at a K9 school in my hometown in New Hampshire, where I learned the foundations of K9 behavior, obedience, care, and handling of working dogs. I poured everything I had into learning the craft. After a year of dedicated internship and training, I taught my first class at just 17 years old. From that moment, I knew this was more than a job — it was a calling. Over the years, my experience grew into becoming a Police K9 handler in New Hampshire, followed by serving as a trainer and instructor for the NH Police K9 Academy through the Working Dog Foundation. I worked daily with high-drive working dogs and their handlers, focusing on discipline, safety, trust, and performance in real-world environments. After completing my full-time police career, I continued my K9 journey overseas, spending eight years in the Middle East providing private K9 handling and instruction in support of Army operations and Private Security detachments. Working in demanding and high-stress conditions further refined my skills and reinforced the importance of calm leadership, consistency, and deep respect for the dogs that depend on us. At the same time, I never stopped helping everyday families with their pets. Training and caring for family dogs — from energetic puppies to older companions — has always been just as important to me as working with professional K9 teams. I believe every dog deserves structure, patience, and loving guidance so they can thrive as well-behaved members of the family. Alongside my deep dog experience, my connection to cats comes from being a devoted cat owner. My wife and I shared our home with two amazing cats for about eight years, caring for them daily and loving them as part of our family. Living with cats taught me to appreciate their unique personalities, their need for gentle handling, respect for space, and the importance of calm, consistent routines — especially in a home shared with dogs. While my background with cats is personal rather than professional, it comes from genuine love and hands-on care as a pet parent. Through every chapter — horses, dogs, and cats — one thing has never changed: I treat animals as family. Today, with 27 years of experience centered around K9 training, handling, and care, supported by a lifetime of loving animals of all kinds, I bring a calm, confident, and compassionate approach to every pet I work with. Whether your dog needs structured care, your cat needs gentle attention, or your pet simply needs someone who will treat them like their own, I’m here to provide that level of trust and commitment. When you leave your pet with me, you’re not just choosing a sitter or caretaker — you’re choosing someone who has built his life around animals and who will care for yours with the same respect, patience, and love I’ve given my own. I am currently able to accommodate week days and most weekends to assist our communities. I can be available pretty much any time during the day as I own my own company that is newer to the industry it is supporting. 🛡️🐾 Safety, Trust & Environment For me, caring for animals has always been about more than just meeting basic needs — it’s about earning trust, creating calm, and treating every pet with the same respect and love I give my own. With decades of experience around animals — especially working dogs in high-responsibility and high-stress environments — I’ve learned that pets thrive when they feel safe, understood, and cared for with consistency. Whether it’s a high-drive dog, a shy cat, or a senior companion, I take the time to understand each animal’s personality, routines, and comfort level. In my care, your pet will have: ❤️ Genuine compassion and patience 🏡 A calm, structured, and loving environment 🦴 Proper exercise, enrichment, and rest 🍽️ Attention to feeding routines and health needs 👀 Close supervision and awareness at all times I believe animals should never feel rushed, ignored, or unsafe. I keep their spaces clean, secure, and peaceful, and I handle every interaction with calm confidence so they know they’re in good hands. Because of my background with working dogs and my life with pets like Aries, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your animal with someone else. I don’t take that lightly. When your pet is with me, they’re treated as part of my family — with the highest level of care, respect, and responsibility. Most importantly, I listen to what matters most to you, learning your pet’s daily routines and needs so I can mirror your care and make their time with me feel just like home.

“I've never had to board my dogs before and was very nervous. Rachael answered my many questions, explained everything I needed to know. Her family is wonderful with my dogs and I finally feel I've found someone caring and trustworthy. I will definitely rebook in the future!”

We recently left Finn with Luiz for two weeks and felt completely confident that he was in good hands, was safe and was happy! Definitely will use Luiz’s service again!”

About: I've been around animals my whole life and currently have two pet goats who we spoil like dogs. My partner and I have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. I typically work a few hours in the morning, and then am outside working on projects and playing with the animals all day. We have a large property (about 30 acres) surrounded by woods with lots of room for your dog to run and explore. We also live near some great hiking trails.
“We had a long talk with Hope when we returned home. She said that she had a wonderful time with Laura and family and even had her usual opportunity to 'snuggle'. It was comforting to know that there is a home near ours where we can be comfortable leaving Hope, knowing that she will be loved and cared for. I expect that we will be asking Laura to care for Hope in the future”
