Professionally, I was vet assistant at an animal clinic before returning to farm animal work. At the clinic I learned the basics of animal health care and I learned how to properly handle dogs and cats. Throughout the last twelve years I’ve farm-sat and pet-sat for numerous friends and family members! In the last year I worked at a doggy daycare and worked groups of 11-12 large dogs. I also worked in group of 15+ small dogs and "solos" (highly dog aggressive dogs). Working in that environment took me to the next level of understanding cues and dog behavior. About: I have had dogs my whole life. I worked at a doggy day care facility for 5 years and gained a ton of experience with dogs of all sized and temperaments! We have had 10 foster dogs in recent years who have taught me a lot! My current dog keeps me very active and we love long walks, hikes and the beach! My schedule is currently wide open. My dog is my everything and yours will get the same love and care while with me! We do long walks when temperatures allow and brief outdoor breaks during the day to stay cool and get in some exercise! I live in an apartment that is very walkable and has many parks around! “Susan and John took excellent care of Charlotte. They sent regular photos and kept in close contact. When Charlotte ran out of food, Susan went to the pet store to buy her new food so that she would not have to switch to something that she was not used to. Amazingly they let Charlotte up on their bed. Lots of cuddling photos. Charlotte looked happy in every one of them. I was very pleased and would highly recommend them! I am so happy to now have a dog watcher that both Charlotte and I feel confident in! Thank you Sue and John!!!”
