Professionally, I was vet assistant at an animal clinic before returning to farm animal work. At the clinic I learned the basics of animal health care and I learned how to properly handle dogs and cats. Throughout the last twelve years I’ve farm-sat and pet-sat for numerous friends and family members! In the last year I worked at a doggy daycare and worked groups of 11-12 large dogs. I also worked in group of 15+ small dogs and "solos" (highly dog aggressive dogs). Working in that environment took me to the next level of understanding cues and dog behavior. I learned to advocate for dogs, look for health and safety warning signs and how to manage group dynamics. I am currently a *human* nurse and making time for animals because that is where I feel I really come alive. :) I believe that animals are part of the family and I will treat them like so. I’ve helped my parents take care of the animals on their little homestead for 3.5-4 years. I took care of ducks, chickens, pigs, goats, and more. “Diana and Jeff were very accommodating. The meet and greet went well and even though they already had a boarder they made sure their time was focused for my two dogs. Communication was key in coordination for both sides and Diana was extremely flexible (Thanks so much). When I picked my dogs up they were properly harnessed, fed and ready to go. I definitely recommend this home of dog lovers for your fur babies.”

“Lucia was great and was very flexible when watching Chloe. We were away for two weeks and she allowed my sister, who would be watching her the other days, to drop off and pick-up and was accommodating to her tough work schedule. We appreciated that she had other dogs and a fenced in yard. The once a day updates were perfect both for keeping our minds at ease and showing us how great of a time Chloe was having. 100% would recommend!”
“Althea was wonderful with our lab. Her location with access to trails and swimming is ideal. She provided frequent photos and videos so we could see our dog happily enjoying playing and hiking or just relaxing with her two friendly dogs. Our dog is already asking us when we are going away again so she can go back to Althea's place.”
