“Connor was great with our dog Bolt! This was our first time going through the app, she made it very easy. We were bringing Bolt to a boarding place nearby but would always feel very on edge and worrying while on vacation. He would come home from the boarding place and his elbows were very rough and red and he would be so thirsty. I picked him up from Connor and he was fine, like he never left home. He was a little tired but that’s to be expected going to a new place. Connor’s house was clean and she has a very nice yard and large covered porch she sat under with him. She was easy to communicate with and flexible. As soon as I met her and she met my dog, I knew we were going to be good! I plan to bring him to her again soon and will continue to for as long as I can!”

About: I have owned many dogs over the years plus have over 7 years in the dog rescue business. Having volunteered with Legacy Humane Society based in McKinney, Texas as a foster, mentor, board member, event planner, social media lead and more, I've gained knowledge and learned so much! I am familiar with medications, oral and injectable and comfortable administering if needed. I have fostered pregnant dogs, birthed litters and raised them, fostered 150 lb great danes and a 15 lb chihuahua. Our most recent two pets were a black lab that passed away of old age and currently own a 40 lb mutt. I love dogs and miss fostering since we travel on the road. I have also helped care for my Mom's 90 lb Cane Corso who had to have insulin injections twice per day.

We found the kennel was awful, but we had to leave her as we were heading out of the country the same day. I found Gabrielle and Sara through Rover and they responded immediately. About: I've had dogs all of my life. All of my dogs I rescued, Rosco from North Carolina, Athena from Puerto Rico, Otis a Maine resident (my other half best friend) ,Piglet from Georgia and Thia from Saint Thomas. I've always had a love and special way with dogs. It's all about time and patience they are 4 legged kids. Ive introduced a senior dog who was not fond of other dogs to his new sister and they lived happily in the house together. I've had alot of experience with senior dogs dealing with hip issues and mobility. I am also a pitbull mom so I know all about their attitude. I have went through obedient school and have learned alot and plain on continue training not just for my self but for the dogs we have to be trained just as much as they do. I'm currently working 7 to 3 M-F but have time at night and on weekends in my daily schedule that I would love to fill and what better way then spending with animals. About: I have had a dog at least 20 years. We occasionally have a Labrador a week at a time, he has full run of the house. I do not work, so I am home most of the time. I do local Arts Markets, but those aren't long days. A dog would get lots of attention. I have a fenced in back yard that has plenty of room for playing. The house is one floor, which would be easier on older dogs.

About: I have always had dogs but am currently without one after my 16-year-old golden retriever passed away. I am comfortable working with dogs of all ages, and understand how their needs, routines and personalities change throughout their lives. I live in a quiet community with beach access a short walk away. If you have a pup that loves to swim, go on adventures or walks, or simply spend time outside, I would be a great fit. While your away, you can be sure they too are enjoying a mini vacation. I can work from home so your dog will not be lonely during the day. There are some days I may not be home all day, but I will be sure to give them plenty of exercise with time to run, play or swim in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. I also have a life jacket for those dogs who are not strong swimmers or who may want a little extra support in the water. I've not crated any of my dogs, but if you are more comfortable with crating, I can accommodate that if you bring yours. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a small side yard, access to trails and a beach so they will get plenty of time outside.

“Connor was great with our dog Bolt! This was our first time going through the app, she made it very easy. We were bringing Bolt to a boarding place nearby but would always feel very on edge and worrying while on vacation. He would come home from the boarding place and his elbows were very rough and red and he would be so thirsty. I picked him up from Connor and he was fine, like he never left home. He was a little tired but that’s to be expected going to a new place. Connor’s house was clean and she has a very nice yard and large covered porch she sat under with him. She was easy to communicate with and flexible. As soon as I met her and she met my dog, I knew we were going to be good! I plan to bring him to her again soon and will continue to for as long as I can!”

About: I have owned many dogs over the years plus have over 7 years in the dog rescue business. Having volunteered with Legacy Humane Society based in McKinney, Texas as a foster, mentor, board member, event planner, social media lead and more, I've gained knowledge and learned so much! I am familiar with medications, oral and injectable and comfortable administering if needed. I have fostered pregnant dogs, birthed litters and raised them, fostered 150 lb great danes and a 15 lb chihuahua. Our most recent two pets were a black lab that passed away of old age and currently own a 40 lb mutt. I love dogs and miss fostering since we travel on the road. I have also helped care for my Mom's 90 lb Cane Corso who had to have insulin injections twice per day.
About: I grew up around all sorts of animals. We always had a dog and a cat or two. We also had birds and a bunny and also a hamster. I love walking and playing with dogs and I get along with all different breeds and sizes. I don’t currently have a full time job so I’m available pretty much anytime. I’m available for boarding and visits during the week and weekends. I have a good sized unfenced yard with a half an acre of woods in the back. I also have a dog of my own who loves other dogs and would love a playmate. I can crate your dog if needed.
“Highly recommend! We have a 10 month old Irish Setter puppy and had her set to go to a kennel. We found the kennel was awful, but we had to leave her as we were heading out of the country the same day. I found Gabrielle and Sara through Rover and they responded immediately. They went over and picked up our girl first thing the next day and took great care of her for two weeks. I regularly received pictures and updates. She was well taken care of and happy pup when I returned home. I highly recommend them.”
