Barbara and Darryll are warm, caring people and very responsive to my dogs needs, plus sent regular updates and pictures throughout the stay. My dog is a Belgian Shepherd and can be anxious and at times reactive, but she was relaxed and quiet while staying here. It was ideal because they were home with her most of the time and kept a consistent routine for her. She found her place on a couch by the window so she could watch the squirrels in the yard, just like at home. I felt safe leaving my dogs with such kind people, thank you Barbara and Darryll! About: Some of my first memories are of my dog Brownie. My mother raised Springer Spaniels for some time, and after that we had a Labrador, a Newfoundland, three Shitzu's and beloved little Scotty named Jimmy McPierce. I am a gardener by trade so I started petsitting/dogwalking professionally years ago, as a way to generate extra income during the winter months. What can I offer your pet? Personalized care. I understand that every animal has it's own personality quirks. I can work with that! If you have special commands or routines for your pet, please let me know in advance so I know how to best care for your pet. I go above and beyond most sitters because I deeply care for the emotional wellbeing of animals. How many can I watch at once? Multiple pets are not a problem, more the merrier. What if my dog or cat needs to be given medication? I have many clients whose pets require medication. I can administer shots if you have a diabetic in the family. What if my pet is high energy? I am a very active person so if your pup likes to go on runs or hikes, please let me know. I love to play with frisky cats too! I tend to be busier in the summer and therefore don't take on as many clients, but devote most of my time to caring for pets during winter months. However, if you are located somewhere close to my work in the summer, then overnights shouldn’t be a problem as long as your pet can be alone for around six hours. I will consider taking certain dogs into my home for overnights if it is the right fit. I don't own my own house, so I must be sure they will not damage anything. Cats are also welcome if they meet the same behavioral standards.
“They were so great!! Lika took a ton of pictures and videos of our dog Schnappi through the weekend which totally helped my separation anxiety lol. It made us feel good to see Schnappi playing and napping and knowing he was being taken care of so well. They followed the directions we left for feeding, medication, etc. well and were really communicative. They were able to help us out last minute when our friend had to cancel on dog-sitting, which was amazing. And then when my plane was super delayed Lika was really nice about me being late to pick him up. She also went above & beyond and delivered his food bowls to us after we forgot to bring them home. All around great experience, you can tell they're dog people and I will definitely rebook with them next time we need a sitter.”

About: Hello, my name is Claudia . I have grown up all my life surrounded by pets, in my other house I have three puppies, five little birds and I also had a cat. I love being surrounded by animals, I am very patient with them, I love playing and walking with them. With my pets, I have always wanted them to socialize, understanding and accepting each other's character and respecting other people's pets in the same way. About: I have spent many overnights at homes while providing pet care. The durations of these stays have been up to a week. I do very well with following clear directions for feeding, medications, as well as other pet care needs. This includes affection and playing— I absolutely love dogs and cats! I am a teacher, which of course is a very busy job. However, I do not work over the summer, which means I have lots of flexibility in these months. I am also available during most weekends! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following instructions regarding feeding, medications, going outside, as well as anything else that may be necessary! When owners are gone, I recognize it is best for the pets to keep their routines as consistent as possible! I respect any rules clients may have for their pets (e.g. where around they house they are allowed, any dietary limitations, and any necessary precautions to take so that the pets stay safe!)

About: Growing up around a wide variety of animals has given me the skills and passion needed to be an attentive and responsible carer of all kinds of pets. I've owned several dogs, cats, rodents, and horses. I was responsible for administering medications, accommodating pets with special needs, becoming attuned to various behaviors and habits, and adhering to specific individualized training methods. I'm currently working full-time from home as a customer service rep for a small, local company and mothering my 2 year old toddler (who is very gentle and respectful around all animals). When caring for your pet in your home I will treat your home like it was my own with the utmost respect. And that goes obviously for your pet too! I am currently retired so I typically have availability to care for your pet and am looking forward to it! I will care for your pet like it were my own. I do not offer the service of caring for your pet in my home. I will, however, care for your pets in your home and am willing to stay overnight if that is needed and have done so for extended stays.
