“Amanda is terrific! From the outset, she was very responsive to all my questions about how she would care for Sammy, our one-year-old labradoodle puppy. It was a last-minute booking and Amanda was very flexible in scheduling a meet and greet on short notice. When we dropped off Sammy for his weekend stay, Amanda was very careful to give Sammy a quiet space to get familiar with his surroundings. Within minutes of leaving, I received pictures of our very happy puppy playing with all her pups. Sammy has a lot of eye secretions, and Amanda followed all of our instructions and did an excellent job of keeping his eyes clean and healthy. Sammy also is a picky eater, and she made sure that he had plenty of nourishment and water. Most significantly, when Amanda dropped off an item that accidentally was left at her house, Sammy went crazy with excitement to see her friend Amanda and husband Nico. Totally helicopter tail and puppy kisses galore. Sammy’s reaction told me everything I wanted to know. We feel so lucky to have found Amanda. About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, starting my pet care career in high school at a doggie daycare, and ending up here, with 6 years of professional experience and the same love of animals I’ve had since the beginning. I do have a full time job that prevents me from doing any jobs between the hours of 7am-4pm Tuesday-Thursday. About: Everyone always asks me why dogs are so nice to me and quiet and I’m not really sure but I love all animals! So I hope you can trust me with yours! I work full time but after work I’m always available usually and on weekends. I’m very lenient towards everyone’s schedules so take your time! About: I have had dogs my entire life. Big dogs, small dogs, medium dogs. Usually 2 at a time. Our last dog passed in 2020 at age 11. In November 2022 we adopted a 10 month old blue tick coonhound. Her name is Pickle and she’s the sweetest. She’s super shy and submissive and we haven’t had any issues with her meeting other dogs, but we do want to ensure she is comfortable before booking anything and we require a meet and greet prior to confirming any bookings. When it comes to training, we use positive reinforcement and gentle words. In fact, the last dog I was training we hired a trainer to come in, since it had been a while for me, and the trainer said I was doing a great job and didn't think there needed to be any additional visits, unless I wanted them. I work part time, Tuesday’s and Wednesdays about 4 hours in an office, along with bringing kids to and from school. My work is very flexible and I am able to make changes as necessary. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of toys! We provide positive reinforcement and lots of cuddles! My children are relatively dog savvy, we have a 3, 5 year old, and a 8 year old. The 3 year old absolutely loves animals and will try to snuggle as much as possible.

About: Pet Care Experience — From Horses to Cats to Dogs My life with animals began long before it became a profession. At 14 years old, I started caring for horses — feeding, grooming, riding, exercising, and treating them as family. Horses taught me early lessons in patience, responsibility, and the importance of daily, consistent care. By 16, that passion grew into the dog world when I had the opportunity to be mentored by a close friend who was a Police K9 handler. I poured everything I had into learning the craft. After a year of dedicated internship and training, I taught my first class at just 17 years old. Over the years, my experience grew into becoming a Police K9 handler in New Hampshire, followed by serving as a trainer and instructor for the NH Police K9 Academy through the Working Dog Foundation. I worked daily with high-drive working dogs and their handlers, focusing on discipline, safety, trust, and performance in real-world environments. After completing my full-time police career, I continued my K9 journey overseas, spending eight years in the Middle East providing private K9 handling and instruction in support of Army operations and Private Security detachments. Working in demanding and high-stress conditions further refined my skills and reinforced the importance of calm leadership, consistency, and deep respect for the dogs that depend on us. At the same time, I never stopped helping everyday families with their pets. Training and caring for family dogs — from energetic puppies to older companions — has always been just as important to me as working with professional K9 teams. I believe every dog deserves structure, patience, and loving guidance so they can thrive as well-behaved members of the family. Alongside my deep dog experience, my connection to cats comes from being a devoted cat owner. My wife and I shared our home with two amazing cats for about eight years, caring for them daily and loving them as part of our family. Living with cats taught me to appreciate their unique personalities, their need for gentle handling, respect for space, and the importance of calm, consistent routines — especially in a home shared with dogs. While my background with cats is personal rather than professional, it comes from genuine love and hands-on care as a pet parent. About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8. I’ve fostered animals, and helped walk, feed, bathe, supply medicine (supplements and pills) to them for friends, family, etc for a little over 8 years now. I’m very experienced with younger dogs and can provide extensive walks / playtime for entertainment and engagement. I also love working with senior dogs as well, and can help provide a calm, stress free environment for them while their owner is away. I’m currently working part-time from home and have a very flexible schedule! I can do drop in visits, overnight stays, and even long weekends / weeks for vacations and getaways! Early mornings and late nights are no problem for me as well. I don’t mind cleaning up messes or puddles, and I can travel very flexibly if needed! I am OK helping with crate training, and providing a positive environment for any pup to grow in while their family is away! I have a fur baby of my own who is almost 4 years old, and absolutely adores other dogs! He is neutered, house trained, and very relaxed. He has been a very good role model for our youngest puppy in the house.
About: Hi, I have had animals throughout my life. I am a huge animal lover and even have taken 2 years of vet science because of the love of animals. I have work in the Nashua Humane Society for a couple of years as well working with dogs, cats, and small animals.I am also working another job but still pretty flexible. I also know how to do pet grooming as well and have some basic knowledge of animal nutrition. I've always loved taking care of animals, a huge passion of mine. I can't wait to experience taking care of different pets and knowing their personalities :) I’m currently working as an pet groomer once an ween and my schedule is pretty flexible so I can make a lot of things work when assistance is needed I always make sure all my clients are happy and healthy but something happens I always make sure I keep any local vets on hand if assistance is needed! I am dog groomer and full time mama but very involved and helpful husband who helps a lot and will come on my adventures cause he’s much big animal lover himself 🙂 At the moment I do not have my own house as I’m only doing house sitting but hoping once I get an house it will be fenced in or can build fenced yard!

“Amanda is terrific! From the outset, she was very responsive to all my questions about how she would care for Sammy, our one-year-old labradoodle puppy. It was a last-minute booking and Amanda was very flexible in scheduling a meet and greet on short notice. When we dropped off Sammy for his weekend stay, Amanda was very careful to give Sammy a quiet space to get familiar with his surroundings. Within minutes of leaving, I received pictures of our very happy puppy playing with all her pups. Sammy has a lot of eye secretions, and Amanda followed all of our instructions and did an excellent job of keeping his eyes clean and healthy. Sammy also is a picky eater, and she made sure that he had plenty of nourishment and water. Most significantly, when Amanda dropped off an item that accidentally was left at her house, Sammy went crazy with excitement to see her friend Amanda and husband Nico. Totally helicopter tail and puppy kisses galore. Sammy’s reaction told me everything I wanted to know. We feel so lucky to have found Amanda. We will definitely be using her services again, and I highly recommend her dog sitting and boarding services!”
