About: I have owned many dogs over the years plus have over 7 years in the dog rescue business. Having volunteered with Legacy Humane Society based in McKinney, Texas as a foster, mentor, board member, event planner, social media lead and more, I've gained knowledge and learned so much! I am familiar with medications, oral and injectable and comfortable administering if needed. I have fostered pregnant dogs, birthed litters and raised them, fostered 150 lb great danes and a 15 lb chihuahua. Our most recent two pets were a black lab that passed away of old age and currently own a 40 lb mutt. I love dogs and miss fostering since we travel on the road. I have also helped care for my Mom's 90 lb Cane Corso who had to have insulin injections twice per day.

I believe in providing plenty of outdoor time for playing, sniffing, exploring, listening to nature, or sitting in the sun- whatever your dog needs to be happy! I will meet them where they are at to ensure they are comfortable in a new environment. Leashes will be used until we are sure it’s fine to take them off. 🐾 Trained in basic doggie 101-we usually have basic manners and recall in practice for healthy treats and affection-especially for puppies- and can provide a crate, comfy couch or bed if your pup needs a space to retreat. 💕 My only requirement for care in my home is that your dog must get along with other dogs and cats. We have a comfy animal-friendly couch and a screened-in porch with a queen-size bed for your pups to nap outside without being “loose”. I have one pup who will be happy to keep your pup company! They will be able to go in and out freely in a natural home setting, (as long as they are okay off leash) and your dog will be cared for like our own. If I visit your home, I would typically have my dog with me to play with yours- unless you specify otherwise. Each visit would be an hour of play and affection, outdoor time, feeding, water, etc.

Taking care of pets is already part of our everyday life. We have a golden retriever and three cats at home, so our days naturally revolve around feeding, walks, play, and snuggles. Because we’re so used to that routine, it feels easy and natural to make time for other pets too. Between the two of us, we’re flexible with mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Depending on the day and time, either one of us will be available, and we’ll clearly communicate that with you when booking so you know who to expect. At the end of the day, we both just enjoy having more chances to spend time with animals. We know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are safe and cared for when you’re not there. When we’re in a client’s home, we’re respectful of your space and careful to follow your routines. We pay attention to details like locked doors, leashes, and food instructions, because we know consistency helps pets feel calm and secure. Most of all, we want you to feel at ease knowing your pets are being treated with the same love and care we give our own.
