“I've never hired anyone to look after the cats before. I've always relied on my elderly mother to take care of them while I'm away. The thought of having a stranger in my home while I'm gone made me feel uncomfortable but I wanted piece of mind in knowing that if mom faced any health concerns that the cats would still get care until I return home. Melissa was at the top of the list, on Rover, for people in my area so I read the reviews left by her past clients and decided that she was worth a gamble. Before I went out of town, she came out to meet us and I showed her around the house. She was present at all the times we agreed on and sent a daily note and pictures of them when she could. About: I've watched dogs of friends and family on and off for the past 11 years. It's been a mix of older dogs, young dogs, large and small. I do require proof of vaccinations and licensing. I'm a stay at home mom. Our pets are rarely home alone for more than a couple hours at a time a couple days each week. I have a fenced in yard and friendly pooch with loads of toys to share. Our dog has unlimited access to the yard as long as I am home. A water dish is always out and available. We do have a cat who free ranges around the house, but she tends to make herself scarce when other dogs are in the house.

About: Your pup must be respectful of cats please. I completely understand curiosity, just not stalking or chasing. I took so much care of our lab when she was 15 and had Cushings. I definitely have a sweet spot for senior pets. She has since crossed the 🌈. Max is our 5 yr old Husky/Lab mix and he's our sweet big boy. We have love for big and small dogs! We have a huge grassy 6 and 4 ft fenced in yard (we connected to our neighbors 4 ft fence - see pictures) and Max would seriously love a friend to play with or just chill with. My husband and I work from home so one of us will be home all the time. We usually go on a mid morning walk and an evening walk, weather permitting. My kids are 11 and 16 and adore animals. We have a cat, Freddy, who loves Max. We will love your pet like they were our own ♥️ My husband and I work from home full-time. Our dog has separation anxiety so one of us will be home when your pet is here! We have a 6 and 4 ft privacy fence, large grassy backyard. Max gets on the leather couch but not our fabric couch or bed. He doesn't ever try. We wake up early to feed Max at 7 so early mornings is a non issue in our house! We typically go on 2 short walks a day (15-20 min). We're a chill household.

About: My focus is on providing a stress free and activity filled adventure for your dog! I have a securely fenced acre of land (six foot high fence with jump guards) with plenty of room for safe free running. My personal dogs are all dog friendly and we enjoy frisbee and long walks daily and have previously competed in various dog sports. I have senior dogs and understand the extra care that seniors can require including medication administration and providing rugs for footing. Puppies who have been appropriately vaccinated are welcome as well. I work from home and my life revolves around the dogs and the schedule that includes feeding 2-3x per day, medications for my senior dogs and exercise as both individuals and in groups. My motto is happy dogs = happy clients. As mentioned above, I believe strongly in routine and schedule. My property has a secure fenced back yard and the yard is divided as well. Since this is my main source of income, I can be consistent and dependable, giving your pets the attention and routine they deserve. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. Dogs are always leashed during walks, and I adjust routes or pause if other dogs are nearby to ensure a calm, controlled experience. I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets at once, as long as they get along well. I handle pets with anxiety, aggression, or medical needs carefully, following all instructions from their parents. During drop-in visits, I take my lead from pet parents and follow any guidance provided, ensuring I leave the home exactly as I found it — doors locked, secure, and everything in order. My goal is to provide a safe, consistent, and worry-free experience for both pets and their families.

About: Hi! My name is Kelsey and I am in my sixth year of teaching... so I love working with kids, but I love working with dogs just as much. I’ve had lots of experience dog sitting for family friends’ dogs. I have also dog/housesit for families in Lincoln as well as walked dogs when families are busy. About: I’ve had experience with a different breeds of dogs from little pups to bigger dogs. I’ve also had two cats which I loved. I’ve always been a lover of my fur babies. Friends and family have relied on me to babysitt, walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I also do the same for my own pet. If there are any special instructions that your dog needs, I would be able to help out and follow. Can’t wait to make your fur babies comfortable!! I’m currently working two 12 hour shifts at the hospital. I work every 3rd weekend where I have to work Friday-Sunday. He’s a gentle giant and loves any dogs who will play with him for hours! My pup gets walks, baths, car rides , pup cups (too many), and more. About: Both of us have been pet lovers since a young age and after dating for 5 years, decided to expand our family with our beautiful, ball-obsessed border collie, Willow. We rescued Brady a year later when he was just a tiny chihuahua-dachshund mix and have received endless cuddles since then. We decided to start pet-sitting as a way to take care of others’ pets just as we would want ours cared for when we go away. Even though we do live in a villa style apartment, walks and dog-park time are a necessity for our puppies. We are very careful following other pet parents instructions, no matter the task, and want to be there for you and your pet - so you don’t have to worry if they are in the right hands while you are away! Zane works weekend nights. Kassidy does not work summers, but does babysit occasionally. We do well collaborating so if one of us can’t make it, then other can. It does take a minute for our dogs to adjust to a visitor, but once they have figured out they are a guest, they play with them as such! We have a dog park and a beautiful community to take plenty of walks throughout the day.
About: I currently work at an animal shelter. I have been certified in pet CPR, First Aid and Behavior, and trained to administer medication via shots or orally, as well as care for elderly pets. I am currently working at the Nebraska Humane Society and am looking for pet sitting that only requires one drop-in a day, as I work 7am-5pm. I only care for pets in the owners’ homes.
